@@KingBenny Drake was loved by the masses outside of the culture not from within. People of the culture recognized who Drake was from the start, a Pop artist cosplaying as a Rapper. Rappers tolerated Drake because they knew he was fully supported by the music industry elites who created a false narrative and persona known as Drake, but Drake wasn't respected. You are young, so this brand of Drake and his persona is acceptable to you but no he wasn't loved by all because we knew Drake is an industry plant.
@@KingBenny yeah that’s before he got exposed for his sneaky antics with young girls. I was looking at his pigtails, Barettes and pink nail polish 💅! I saw the video of him with that skank sexy red and a video of him kissing a 17 yo! I saw a video of a couple new artists accusing him of stealing ppl songs and flow, and cadence with proof! I’m like this nga weird man and allegedly video with a dog! I stopped playing his song! That dude been exposed and I been watching all these fans ignore this. You all are weird and something is there eventually it’s gonna come out.
@@allyzm1027you can’t call everyone you don’t like an industry plant. Drake had to grind to get signed by Wayne with mixtapes like all his other peers, his degrassi connection back in the day helped him as much as it hurt him, hip hop purists and underground heads hated him but they hated a lot of dudes who came out past the 2000s even Kendrick was and still is called overrated by many of those “heads” if your saying every rapper and artist drake that was cool with since 2010 was faking it the whole time then you’re telling me the whole damn game is fake not just Drake 😂
Fr, he constantly sneak dissed kanye, kendrick, rihanna, ASAP Rocky, and many other rappers and always involved other's "ex" And after a decade, everybody decided to respond and drizzy couldn't take it.
@@RigginTheRod010 He definitely knew what was coming, and I mean within the past few years, he has known that terrible things were about to blow up about him. He started preparing for his inevitable downfall, and mentioning everyone’s womenfolk helped accelerate him getting one part of this “battle with himself (and the feds 😂)” over with.
@@Rehman_Syed maybe not, because now everyone is aware of Drake being a pop star and not writing anything at all for his entire career, everyone knows about his taste for underage girls now and everyone knows how petty Drake is now. Dude has been 100% exposed from every angle and yeah he will still have success but he is not going to be nowhere near as liked/loved as he once was
@KingBenny he has, he trying to push a tough guy image, when in fact he's not, he's pushing thug when that wasn't his reality. Will Smith was a rapper but didn't have to push thug life, Drake should have kept it PoP star
Lol Drake is more powerful than you think he is, you think he reached that level of fame and power and not have connection with mob ties? Lol you tripping.
@@Christo_Trismegistus I didn't say that but that's what I meant. I could've articulated such better, but I wanted to leave with an open interpretation. Such as, yes, others write for him, but he's able to prove his own crafts as well.
well let's see all he did wrong after.. claimed he fed the fake info (proven he spent 150k and got scammed) claimed he didn't do anything with millie bobby brown (except, kendrick never said her name) claimed he wasn't bothered (makes bbl verse with sexy redd) claimed no ghost writers (people find mob ties to be ghost written) He is getting destroyed right now as all eyes are on him. Everyone wants him gone. I do too if he a threat to 99% of daughters.
And don't forget trying to make fun of Kendrick potentially being a victim of SA (even though anyone can read the lyrics and see he was talking about his mom not believing him when he said he wasn't because she was assaulted)
@@J1nturight??!!! Even if that were true in some other universe, who the F makes fun of SA victims? How is that a "gotcha" moment? That makes him even worse as a human being.
Drake 1st 2nd mixtape before he got discovered was pure hip hop. The second album was produced by 9th wonder. He’s a student of the game, just took a different route.
@@jackiearcher7738 No, You clearly haven’t. You’ve only watched him since 2010 but his first mixtape was in 2006 and second one in 2007. Just say you never listened to room for improvement or Comeback season cause that was straight up hip hop.
Bruh artist get features all the time and they don’t play, like Zendaya getting put on by J Cole.. Kendrick was always the best rapper but to say Drake is only successful because of lil Wayne is false. He made good music, but he should’ve stayed in his lane he could never ever be considered big 3 in hip hop of anything. He’s a pop artist
@@bryamdelossantos7403 argue with yourself. Ain’t no way you’re gonna sit here and say j Cole 😂😂😂 had the same impact as Wayne of that era. It wasn’t just a feature, it was a co-sign which gave him access and acceptance. Have a good one
@@KingBenny Drake didn't prove himself, the music industry elites created and pushed Drake and his brand upon the masses for their own agendas. You got to look deeper.☮️
@@romaretaylor9953 I didn't say it would but, it would finally look more authentic. How can you call a nuggah a GOAT for 15 yrs & he doesn't write his own rhymes & steals others rappers personas?
@@romaretaylor9953 Hip hip has been dead for about a decade. The Rap genre is about to be dead. Drake was the main one keeping it alive since kendrick only Drops every 5 years and Cole drops every 3. Future, Lil Baby, 21, can’t keep it alive on their own.
No, others had to prove themselves from the bottom up as Drake would say without industry connection via acting on a popular TV show, famous superstar family members with other famous superstar best friends, etc. There are numerous Rappers and singers who didn't have those built-in advantages. So I completely disagree with you on that statement. Sorry.☮️😉
*''Industry plant'' has lost all its meaning since people keep misusing the term.* An industry plant is either an artist who claim to be independant yet get a major push by the industry behind the scene (Change the Rapper) and/or comes with an identity made-up by the industry with any trace of their past wiped off the internet (4Batz). Simply having connections to the industry (Drake) and/or getting a major push from the industry because you fit an trendy image (Lizzo ) doesn't qualify you as a plant because every artist needs the industry to succed
@@KingBennyyup, just kept giving him a pass! But now that he’s shown that he don’t need nobody(including the audience) he’s out on his own. No more passes! I never saw what all the fuss was about but just like a Kardashian he fed on teenage girls on the internet!(just like all PDF’S) I’m waiting on him to get caught in Texas & he’ll learn real fast what it is to be a real thug in jail!😂😂😂😂
I would argue the opposite, I think the problem is Drake the person and the rapper have always been intertwined. And the more they expose the person, the harder it'll get for the brand.
@@Aubreysangel666 it doesn't matter who started it and how he wants to keep it, if he is a pdfile copying songs of others and blocking them from fame with the ovo label - drake belongs into jail
I bet dot had a track for any angle drake wanted to go and let drake pick his death. And Cole was a real dude for apologizing. That shows a lot about his character behind the scenes.
I genuinely feel like Cole didn't know the severity of this whole thing and Kendrick still has a lot of love and respect for him so he wanted to make sure he knew exactly how bad it was going to be
Could've atleast kept some people on his side if he kept the form he had on family matters, instead bro started spiraling not to mention the truck full of track that was the heart part 6
Every con artists need to be exposed, and Drizzy's time is up tbh. I can't stomach another award given to a con artist that lets his ghost writers (and stealing 'reference tracks') be the main foundation of his success. Let the realest be celebrated; not the other way around.
@@KingBennyTHANK YOU for featuring Dilla's music in your videos. PURE Hip Hop genius. DILLA....the Einstein, Nikola Tesla, Beetoven of Hip Hop Music!! The greatest to ever do it. And yes.....DRAKE got THOROUGHLY COOKED by Kendrick Lamar.
What’s crazy is “can’t toosie slide outta this one it’s just gon resurface”. That one line means so much. I take it, in retrospect as, the fans are gonna always bring these allegations up from now on / everyone is gonna remember this moment and there’s nothing you can do about it. And honestly? He’s right. This loss will affect drakes career forever
Drake is finally getting what has been coming to him for years. I am indeed loving it as a professional drake hater. This is a wonderful time to be alive. He made his bed a long time ago now he hast to lay in it.
hip hop is actually built on peace love and unity it was invented in the 70s when they wasn't letting people from the ghettos in the club so then you get the block parties and it was peace love and unity the kept things lit back then
Drake is a fraud😂 trying to act gangsta all the time 😂 can't even write his own songs 😂 that's why no one rates him in the industry cause he's so fake his last good album was scorpion
