Arrowhead hunting/Treasure Hunting Mississippi....My past few hunts and a live action with the go pro...beautiful Lance number 8 off the bar I keep finding those lances on...thanks for watching
Man you find some absloute SMOKERS! Very lucky to have creeks like that, that blowout clean down to the clay. Most of the creeks in north alabama where i live are sand muddy leafy silted over. And never blow out
@@Theditchwalker yessirrr! The washes at the foot of the mountains produce from time to time. Most of the finds around here come from shelters or the riverbanks. I got lucky and found a middle/late archaic seasonal village site thats maybe 8ft higher than current flood plain. But the creek that its next to silts and never blows out 😔
Man the material you pull out of these creeks never ceases to Amaze, the point types are killer too, it’s just cool seeing all these different material types from around the country that I’ve never seen in my neck of the woods, Thanks for another upload, GL&HH!!!
I didn’t find my first point till I was 19, it’s makes me wonder how many I walked over in my life having found hundreds in the same places I grew up hiking, fishing etc. but I just didn’t know they were there before that, I tend to look wherever there’s rocks lol, my older brother found a flint point right beside the curb in a Wendy’s parking lot lol, once you find a few your eyes really adjust to identify worked material from a distance, Hope you get on some and start a plentiful collection, GL&HH!!!
Congratulations...once you get an Idea of what your looking for...they start coming then and the addiction drives you....goodluck hunting and thanks for commenting
This is awesome. I've spent tons of time in the mtns never found one. All over east tn hunting and fishing. I'd assume there should be arrow heads around.
Yep..they are pretty much in every stream.,just some are way better than others...If one dedicates their time and passion and pays attention to the gravel and deposit systems in These streams...good things will happen.! Thanks for commenting
I’m sure glad you got back to us lol I sure like the color of the material you have down there really bright. Thank you so much for another good video take care.
Salut, I always get that tingly feeling when I see a film from your channel pop up in my video feed! Great finds, all of them.... but damn! What a lance! Be well, cheers and blessings sent!
Glad to see another video from you!! I was waiting on you to find a tooth, and you did. Now I am foaming at the mouth to go to my honey hole creeks! Yazoo County has an ancient creek like this one, and it spits out treasures too. I would love to see your collection man! My house was a bachelors museum before I got married, with my collection of 600 points as the center piece. Recovering from spinal surgery now, but as soon as I can walk all day again, RockheadEd will be back !!!
I just love that red jasper y’all have around your neck of the woods, but more than that I love this chanel . I hope you have a killer year brother keep them coming and be safe
I like the underwater filming. Adds a neat feature to finding them. The blade you flipped with your stick was my favorite!I have a go-pro and used to do that, but It seemed like the sound didn't pick up as well with the case closed. But that was years ago. Think they have a 10 now. Might look into getting a new one.
What do you mean" with the case closed" . ? This one is fully waterproof...the only issue I might have with it is the muffled sound until the water drains out of the speaker holes...I been wanting to implement underwater filming for a couple years. This is the hero 8 black...I'm gonna put it to the test
That lance was made by a really good knapper for that material to be so uniform like that.. Must be a hunting camp they are coming from with quality knappers in the tribe there
After several.,I told myself that I was going to go dig a bunch of lances out of the water in front of the bar 😂....went and dug about 3 hours..nothing. couple rains.,another lance shows up on front 🤣...If you'll pay attention to the background there is a bank on the right that has eroded and collapsed years before and there is that little area where there is sand mostly coming into the creek. I'm really beginning to think that is where they're coming from...never found a point past the front of that bar. It's crazy....thanks for commenting
@@Theditchwalker Hmm maybe there was a little overnight camp there where a few hunters spent a night or 2 and left some extras just in case they needed them later and never returned? Funny to think about what might've happened 2 or 3 thousand years ago just over the period of a night... the jokes told.. the plans made for a hunt... or some gossip among friends...pretty cool you found the flint they left
Beautiful finds man: love those jasper points:are you going to dig those sanded over spots they may produce I know you dug çatches in the past: can,t wait for some more videos!
I flipped it over with my Rod! Lol! Now that would have been a funny title. Once again , some killer finds. I'm assuming you have a note 10 plus , it looks exactly like mine anyway. GoPros are nice to have , but I have learned the audio and video on then could be alot better. I still use mine for diving for fossils and Artifacts but on land my phone is so much better.
Lol I thought about that title actually....I have a note 9.When I bought it.,I walked a into at&t and said "I want the best camera " and the 9 is what they gave me. I got the go pro to help increase uploads and do underwater footage...but yeah...hard to beat these androids
Oh ok yeah.....it's good...we are beginning to get covered up..you know how it is..! Make that money and on to the next one...Thanks for dropping in and commenting
Man, I wanna do this so bad but I don't know anywhere to go because I don't wanna get shot at for trespassing lol I live in corinth Mississippi and I would love to go with you one day so you can show me where to look or a good indicator that there are points in a creek
After I found the first few.,I went in there and told myself.,I'll just dig 'em out of the water up there.. found nothing...couple rains..boom another lance laying in front....I think there coming from that sand just up and from the right....thanks for commenting
