Yeah, the Ralph of earlier seasons had much more profound moments and a more mature voice, but he quickly feel into the silly role that developed into the little cinnamon bun we all love now.
@@Nerdynessocity The fate of all Simpsons characters is to get whittled down to one trait. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, like with Ralph it makes for a far better and more consistent character (there are hundreds of them, Matt can't be expected to make every one at all complex) but I admit that's not always the case. We even get the word for "when a character slowly becomes consumed by one trait" from the Simpsons: Flanderization.
