Yeah I put my hand up 🙋♂️ as well. Don’t care who wins, want to see some hard ass rugby! Also Hansen is a bad MF. I am Kiwi and the Fern pumps through my blood. Up the Blacks, but let’s see some good rugby from all sides and I’ll come off my booze ban for the games 😂 peace guys ✌️
@@TheCaptain001 CHURR I'll be the same way been waiting half the year for the representative side of rugby gone a bit off Super Rugby BUT there is always the mighty blacks❤❤❤❤
Brother he sounds like a polite MF. The type of dude you want on your shoulder and the type of guy you don’t want to walk past in a dark alley! He sounds like a good man, up the Blacks 🤘
He may be and probably is a great coach, but I don't know if he is going for ASMR but I can't stand such deliberate delivery. Also it feels like corporate/sports waffle a lot of the time. Plenty of waffle. Reminds me of John Mitchell.
@@shaneodea6765 I don't see the careful delivery as PR. I see someone who is trying to live in the moment in the first test series that he's coaching the ABs in. He's also probably also someone who tries to build the team with his words, something that I do as a teacher. Seems like a chap I'd enjoy in a coaching group.
@@shaneodea6765yeah, I know what you mean. A lot of it sounds like waffle. I prefer Jason Ryan's style, what you see is what you get......Razor is like that too, he is what he is. I'm sure Scott Hansen is a decent bloke but he's reminding me of a school teacher/school teacher mentality which makes me puke!!
@@zabaleta66 probably because he's not used to and he's never liked being in front of the camera. He much rather prefers being behind the scenes and letting his work speak for himself. Probably just something we'll have to accept but hey at least he's not a plumtree or a moore
The reason I have no problem that Fozzy is gone, is that FOZZY never had a plan. He was going off the fumes from the team he inherited from HANSEN and was exposed when he finally had to implement his style. It was the injection of Joe Schmidt and co that brough some resemblance of ALL BLACK culture, but by then, the FOZZY rot was already in the ALL BLACKS. RAZOR is implementing his game, his style, his expectations and what I loved more, was his belief that the ALL BLACKS are to win every game. His look he gave to JK, MILS and JEFF WILSON on his first time on the podcast the BREAKDOWN when they talked about the acceptances of losses and RAZOR immediately interjected with ... the history of the ALL BLACKS is to win every game ... that's what has been missing from the ALL BLACKS ... that's what set them apart from everyone else for over a century. You cannot beat a team that believes it is invincible. That is the Mana of the ALL BLACKS. That is why they lay down the challenge of the HAKA ... the ALL BLACKS believe they are invincible because they've called upon the ancient spirit of warriors and the living breath of New Zealand people to will them and rise above their opponents. That's what RAZOR believes in and that's what he instilled into the 7x Sper Rugby Champions ... the CRUSDAERS.
Dont hate on Fozzie. Of course he was selected for being part of the Hansen era and of course he was going to continue with sort of the same logic / ideas that worked well during that era. It was the most successful era the All Blacks ever had. What did you expect?
I'm really excited about this coaching group and how they look to develop their brand of rugby and evolving this group of athletes. Think it's awesome that they consider/care about the whole individual, not just the player.
Damn, what a refreshing interview from an AB assistant - very far removed from the dull, uninspiring interviews by assistants under the Hansen and Foster era.
@@clarke1319 Well, if it inspires me watching from the side, I can only imagine what the players would gain from him. Look beyond the presser, he spoke with an intensity and passion - that can only be good.
@@nepiahemopo1702 winning is good as long as we don't give too much away. Our enemies are watching. Let's build a strong squad over the next three years. 🤔
What a guy! He brings a high level of humility and reverence in what it means to be an Allblack! He understands it’s not just their Journey but the whole nation’s. True believer!! I’m excited.
Shot Mr Hansen, nice opening lines. Mr halfback coach, if Christie and TJ are playing, please speed up their pass. Christie takes a step and then passes. He gives the opposition rush D an extra second. Just get him to clear it off the deck please.
@@clarke1319 Half the time he picks it up off the deck takes a step and then gives it. I get it if he's going to snipe or if they are attacking off a running 9. But when he needs clear quick ball off the deck he still picks it up, steps and passes. Same with Roigard, It's infuriating. Sometimes you need to snipe but most the time we need quick ball. Yes it's depending on your pack crossing the gain line and clean ruck ball. But Christie sat behind a rolls Royce blues pack. I hope he proves me wrong.
@@clarke1319 Nah I disagree bro. I coach rugby and three things need to happen to generate quick ball. 1) ball carrier over the gain line, 2) ruck speed/clean out, 3) speed of half back to the ruck and then speed of pass from half back. It was evident last year that Christie was 1.5 seconds slower than Aaron Smith because Christie lifts the ball, steps and then passes. Compared to Aaron Smith who has his feet planted by the time the ruck is cleared, then lifts and fires in one motion straight off the deck. That 1.5 seconds actually assists the opposition rush D. Sorry bro but don't agree. All goods, I hope Christie proves me wrong. If he continues to lift, step pass I'll be irate. You'd think training under Aaron Smith they'd learnt something. Anyway I'll stop moaning and give him the benefit of the doubt for now.
Im keen to see the plan and vision he has in mind for the blacks as well the direction he wants to take them as every rugby fan knows what works st club level doesnt always work at representative level also i think that high performance training and ball skills were what gave the allblacks thier invincibility tag to start off with if he brings that back and continues with it we may be in aother 20 year era of dominance over Australia but truly if he can keep them progressing over the next couple of years and get them to peack say around 2027 and world cup held in Australia we may walk home with more silver wear but in all honesty i do think that fitness and ball skills is how we won the 2015 eorld cup i cried like a baby when they beat ireland and cried for days when they lost to south Africa and i really dont want to go through that again like most newzealders i am and always will be a staunch ALLBLACKS fan rugby tun through my veins.....❤❤❤❤❤❤!!!!!!!!
Seeing a a clear way and want of a team is so refreshing razor and orhers..alot of talk..alot of clear change..walk forward..this will be a great test and a good start to a world cup build
Basically implied. Razor and new team are energy. Remember the dreary unenergized speeches of Hansen and Foster ( like or hate Eddie or Cheika they always had energy no snooze time of those 2 ) . Notice all the new coaches keep in shape. Scott, Jason, Leon, Razor all keep in shape to be the best coaches they can be . Same as Ronan O'Gara , the English and Irish coaches , Joe Schmidt Robbie Deans and Wayne Smith. Tired of sad old dreary low energy dull negative coaches, Shag is a disgrace, speaking out and whining at times to most upset the new coaching team , just enjoy for mediterranean holiday and send support you AH , just now whining about Fosters treatment when they both threw players under the bus and rarely were self critical. If you are paid 1 million plus and have access to best facilities, least you could do is the same hard yards as your players to stay in shape. We pay good money for gyms, diets , any trainers and those dreary guys didn't care to look after body and mind when they had it for free. ABs had a game plan, post new Foster Assistants , that wasn't a confusing mess for players under Foster, and that dual playmaker role crap under Shag, that did neither player any favours . So should have some continuity . I don't like losing , but I want to see something I could understand. Under Shag/Foster vs England at WC - that was an embarrassment, we became scared turtles, shrunk into our shells all game with passivity so unbecoming of the black shirt
Christie helps the opposition rush D. He takes a step and then passes. That Christie needs to fire it straight off the deck. Cortez has the quickest pass of the 3.
Rush defense is all Aaron smith's fault because he passed the ball when the receiver was about to be targetted. The half back (Aaron smith) destroyed our backline for a decade. Running forward with ball in hand destroys the rush defense as does grubbers and chip and chase . Aaron smith failed for both highlanders and all blacks Even slowing down the speed when rush defense is coming and just pause before you run means that the rush defense are already running at momentum and cannot turn around, so abuse then run forward, then look for a support player to link up with..... eg will Jordan and mo-unga with their impressive try in world cup quarter final Just get rid of Aaron smith once for all
@@ChrisPerkins-i7h Sorry I don't agree with you. Rush defence isn't Smith's fault lol. Rush D is only possible if you win the contact in defence and slow the ruck. This gives defences 3 seconds time to realign the D and then use line speed to rush the opposition attack. If the attacking ball carriers win the contact and gain line, and ruck speed is generated from clean out, then the likes of Aaron Smith can fire the ball into receivers hands 25mtrs away before the opposition defence has time to reset. This is what made Aaron Smith an the AB up-tempo rugby. There's about 3 seconds difference between losing the contact on attack and having slow ruck speed and winning the contact with ruck speed. I don't agree with what you said. Now many times in the last 6 years, The AB ball carriers lost the contact and failed to cross the gain line add to this slow ruck speed, This gave Aaron Smith slow shite ball. No half back looks good with shite ball. The rule is if you don't win the contact on attack and get stopped on the gain line, you have to box kick contestable or kick for territory. Rush defence and quick attacking rugby relies on winning the contact. If you listened to the AB coaches this year, they are focused on winning the contact either side of the ball. For 130 years or whatever of rugby, whoever wins the contact usally dictates who wins and what style of rugby is played. If the Boks win the contact their style of play usually wins. If the ABs win the contact our style of play will blitz the opposition. It's about the contact mate. Bokkes have won the contact area consistently over the last 6 years hence they are the champs.
I would suspect being early in his career in a coaching role on a professional level, he was still developing. Possibly also not being as connected with fellow management as he has been within the Crusaders
Oh no. Another boring Hansen is the last thing the All Blacks need. Steve Hansen was the primary reason the All Blacks lost the world cup in France. His outdated style carried on by his protege Fozzie. What a fkn debacle. Thanks Steve Hansen. You were overrated as fk. As were your two supposed GOATs Richie McCaw and Dan Carter.
@@JaemanEdwards aww come on uncle bully dont be like that. You are mad that Richie McCaw and Dan Carter arent Maori hahahaha. Whos the goat? Perenara or Messam gahaha
Yes, there are two things that will never change. New Zealand's domination of world rugby is over and New Zealand will never win the World Cup again because we lack the player depth and resources of other countries.
I would suspect that TJ won't be around for RWC27 (but who knows) but there is a requirement for the 'here & now' to play the English then maybe the Rugby Championship & maybe even the End of Year Tour so it is fair enough that TJ is one of the current custodians of the 9 jersey. Having another youngster other than TJ would leave Christie as the most experienced to face them all. Once Roigard is available & back to form & given that Cortez looks to be the current 'apprentice' & then there are a raft of others like Fakatava, TTT, Hotham, Viljoen etc already on the horizon & no doubt a few more to appear, the future is rosy but TJ for now is required (in my opinion) as a part of the 4+ year playing/tactic plan (& succession plan)
