I would avoid index funds, mutual funds, and specific stocks for the time being. Right now, the best option is a fixed income of five percent. Put money aside for the times when the market really starts to bounce back.

Two things can be true simultaneously. A weakened China may be more dangerous. A slowing economy wouldn’t necessarily stop China from attacking and it doesn’t mean they are of no threat.

I think it was a hack vulnerability test. And there were three (one before the one on the news and another that happened since) and one or two when Trump was in office that the public wasn't told about. No one would know about any of them if that guy hadn't recorded that one on his phone and put it online.

Whatever one might say about the ability of China to strike US military bases, we can also say about Chinese bases, ships, and other assets as well. The USA has literally hundreds of bases around the world. China will expend a lot of missiles, if not all, in the opening rounds of a war, gain very little in the long run, lose all US business, most if not all business from US allies, which happen to be most if not all of the rich nations in the world, and then China will lose the war in the long term as well when US forces obliterate all Chinese bases, naval fleets, air force, and other assets. For these reasons, China desires a war with the USA every bit as little as the USA desires a war with China. As the Chinese say, it is way more desirable to do business than to wage war.

It is the US that is threatening the peace of other countries. The main discussion in other countries is centered on trade and cooperation. It is the US that is always imagining wars and calling on these selected "experts" to discuss same on media, as a means of getting the plebians on course. If China is investing heavily in military, it is understandably a counter measure to the US hegemonic tendency that is so evidently displayed in her policy to torpedo the progress of others by all means, including war.

Those balloon flight paths put them over the highest points in our country. I believe they are tests for maximum long range distance. They have been playing with emp way too long. Not a stretch to think they are trying to make sure mountains cant deflect the emp. If they are over the mountains the emp has full range over the US. Or worst case its for biologicals. Which we also know. There is no way these balloons were not military weapons tests. Especially knowing japan tried the same thing in ww2 with different technology.

IN our own country? apart from Pearl Harbor where the Japs went for military targets, can you point out which part of US mainland was subjected to invasion and attack by another country in the last hundred years? the way I see it, most Americans have been killed by other Americans 'in our own country'. If you want to 'protect Americans in our country' you should spending more money IN America instead of building more military bases OUTSIDE America to protect OTHER people

There was recently a discussion in your government about military spending. A large portion on that spending goes towards overpriced parts. They held a small bag of bushings going at a 90,000 dollar price tag. That's corruption to enrich a few on the tax payer.
