Very true, imo Jokic not using Social Media at all also plays a crucial role in keeping him humble. Idk if he watches like First Take or other shows but with Social Media, the feedback can make players have a certain level of arrogance that distracts them from the game. It’s a hot take but I think the more social media hyped Jimmy Butler up due to the Bucks series, the more he’s struggled as he kinda fed into it. I think Kevin Durant is another example of Social Media having too much influence over a player as well.

Jokic is the most Consistent player ever in NBA history. I haven't seen a player play this good for a season and even better in the playoffs. Look, His "OFF game" is usually 18,10,8 50% fg. Look at those numbers. Will you really call that an Off game?? Damn ridiculous.

I read this comment earlier today that someday there gonna be on tv in like 2045 asking "how good was jokic really?" And "could jokic have kept up against players in the league in this era?" And guys like kd, and giannis, will have to constantly defend his legacy like magic and dr j do birds today. This made me shake my head because i can see this happening so easily.

Had Jokić played in the 1970s 90% of fans would think that the only reason he was good is because he played in that era and that he got lucky that he didn't have to play in this era where athleticism shines. No one would think that Jokić would be what he is in our era.

Some additional context on the 30/20/10 Triple Double. There have been 75 NBA Seasons. So that’s one expected every 1.6 SEASONS. Jokic has three. There's been one in the playoffs every 15 YEARS. Jokic has two.

Love your video, you give very clear unbiased narrative and stating facts to back up your observations. Unlike some so called media analysts who just could not give clear analysis of the game and seem to favour some players while disparaging others. Thank you.

Brilliant Swishout Denver is the new mountain to climb. For years to come. New age of big man is dawning, in a new subversion of the Curry 3pt era Ha I predicted in 2021 that the new NBA champs will mostly be team teams. And wauw again NBA baffles me because I did not see the Heat coming 🙂

Honestly, the stats say don’t lie, and the eye test makes it pretty clear too. Jokic is arguably the best offensive player ever at this point. He’s the most efficient scorer, the most prolific ever at his all time low usage rate and shot attempts, and even with the all time low usage rate, he still averages near 10 assists a game ontop of that 24.5 and can pass just as good as probably anyone ever, and is definitley one of the better big men at shooting 3s, while being an amazing mid range shooter. He’s also really ‘in shape! being top 10 in the playoffs for miles per game and top 10 in the regular season for miles per game for a Center while playing in Denver, where dame says everyone is exhausted by the third quarter, and Jokic is like an Ironman, he doesn’t miss that many games. With his defense not being an issue in the playoffs (probably because of how hard he’s trying and a good team around him), the nuggets just seem unstoppable. Also got to give credit to the organisation and the coach for seeing potential in this team before anybody really, and the great environment they got, no problems in the locker room, no complaining, such a humble team, and when your leader is a guy like Jokic who offered his starting spot for Nurkic to play (so that everybody stays happy, Nurkic wanted to get traded to be a starter), like how can you have beef with that guy, Jokic is one of those players like Tim Duncan, Giannis, Steph, Dirk… who if every team was built of just those guys there would never be a problem, and the nuggets are just honestly built of a team like that of all pretty humble players

I agree with everything here. This is Jokic's Goat Szn, and it'll be amazing to look back on. However, context shouldn't be completely dismissed. There's a sentiment I came to agree with. No one beats great teams. Or another way - Better teams always win.

It's good to see someone like Jokic recognize because he's a really good player, to be honest I'm quite tired watching players full of ego and showboats like they're the main character. the denver team really shows what real teamplay is. and Jokic do a really good job leading the play for his team.

Yo Swish idk if you'll read this but you are without a doubt the best bball youtuber in the game. Every time I see a notification for one of your videos I will click it, and watch the video all the way through. It's hard to do that with a lot of other youtubers because they're boring. You get right to the point and spit facts. Much love.
