Everyone here is comparing how bad their city is compared to others. Why is that something to boast about? I understand that it isn't easy for us to change our neighborhoods. But do not be proud of it because that is not only accepting it but promoting the idea that you should live in a place like that. Where your children live is the greatest determining factor of how their life will be and subsequently, their children's lives will be. So bragging how bad your city is or neighborhood is applauding the fact that you and many of the generation that you beget will have a hard life that is possibly cut short. Being a murder capital is not something to be proud of.

I grew up in bad news. I got alot of lobe for that city. That city tought me hkw to be a man and handle mu own. Ill never go back. But i will always love the 757

Everyday on the local news you will hear about someone getting killed in Newport News or Hampton. Not something to be proud of for sho.

Lots of good and bad times for me in the 757.... I finally got out of there thank god, but its a double-edged sword...Wouldn't be where I am today so I have to show some love for Hampton Roads. It isn't a bad place to live, but if you go looking for trouble and get into some bad shit...it will find you easily and wont leave you alone.
