Blue line metro work is going on good speed most of the places pillar work is completed station work is started in some places.I think first silk board to Krpuram phase 2a will open then airport to hebbal will open then hebal to krpuram will open completing the entire 53kms line 😊👍

4:20- Not Bangalore Central, it is a shopping mall . Happened to my friend. He said to auto driver Central (thinking railway station), but driver took him to Bangalore Central mall, haha.

In another 25 months airport metro line will be open then it will be very easy to reach airport after that people will use less of cab,bus,this train 😊👍.The day when we reach airport in metro will be the happiest for all in the city😊BLR❤

Thanks Anna for the video. The reason why people don't take this train is it is not convenient for flight travelers. Why will someone who spends 5-10k on tickets would want to travel to Majestic, change to this train to save 1k rupees, and struggle with timings and luggage? Mostly middle income people working in Yelahanka and few Airport workers who travel daily can save lots of money, so only they take as of today. Need the service to be more frequent (once every 30 minutes) and faster also (in under 45 minutes) so that they can significantly reduce the time. There you go.. that's the reason, why few people take this route even though it is 30 mins quicker and 985 rupees cheaper.

There is no commitment from the State Government to push for more services, as they fear loss to their AC buses. Also from Airport railway station the airport is around 2 kms, so last mile connectivity is also an issue. The SG is more interested in making metro to Airport, as it is their forte. The Railways too is not keen on running the Suburban and Passenger trains as they are loss making services due to their fare structuring.
