I loved Miki’s use of dynamics! She started off her solo using only her right hand and it seemed to create space for her to dance through. Things took off even more once she began comping with her left hand. Then Jimmy on them drums is another story. 💪🏼😀

Sounds killing, Miki. You are keeping the flame alive. Freddie would dig! Ben Solomon has some strong Bob Berg influences in his sound and language. Very hip.

Ben Solomon is a great saxophonist. Miki any chance you could have Rich Perry on for a show? He is such an incredible saxophonist and sadly not as well known. But he is a monster of a player and the world needs to know about him! Much appreciated, thank you!

Such a great band, thank you for posting! It’s always so great to see musician’s interacting during a song. Miki out of curiosity do you remember what exactly stood out to you and made you happy @ 1:16? Was it a harmonic thing? Really interested to get your thoughts, thanks!

I actually have no idea. lol Maybe Ben quoted some line from the original recording... Regardless Ben's playing was giving me happiness throughout the set!!!
