I've been watching the playlist of online Statics lessons and learning a lot from you Dr. Jeff. Thank you! Also, I've just started to watch Thermodynamics classes and as usual, while listening to the lesson calmly, 0:22 this special shout out made my day! I definitely didn't see that one coming. Loves from Turkey.
Thank you for making these! You're such a clear and direct professor. I love it and appreciate it! I am in thermodynamics now so I'm looking forward to the rest of your thermo videos, hopefully you can do some of the later topics such as pumps, heat exchangers, etc.
Hey dr jeff, I just got out of my thermo finals, I am kind of sad you didn't make this course earlier but atleast now I know the future mechanical engineers will have you for this subject aswell. If I may offer some student feedback, property tables were a struggle for me and many others, there weren't any youtube videos on them, so if you can you should make a whole lesson just about them
you prolly dont give a shit but does anybody know a way to log back into an instagram account?? I somehow forgot the account password. I love any assistance you can offer me.
I’m a DePaul physics student who didn’t have the opportunity to take this class, but wants to break into engineering via space companies. This class and video lecture series are a godsend. Thank you good sir for broadening my knowledge
I finished Thermo with a 98%. Had no idea what I was doing. Do I know what any of these things mean? Nope! It's a variable with some units... I mathed my way through it: variables and units - who cares. This is a great video. A lot of what I was doing makes sense now. Thanks!
I totally saw someone with this shirt that you're wearing at Walt Disney World this weekend and I was tempted to go up to him and ask him if he knew you.
The equilibrium represents State of non directionality while 2nd law of thermodynamics represents directionality of maximum entropy. So at equilibrium entropy of surroundings will be maximum . But since we deal only with system so we move to a property namely Gibbs free energy to determine if system is in phase/chemical equilibrium.

I'm not sure If you noticed but lesson 3 and 4 audio volume is waaaaaaaaaaay smaller than the Lesson 7, 2, 1 you posted recently. We can hear what you are saying at max volume using computer, but something to look into? (maybe it's just my computer but) Always appreciating what you make for us Mr. Hanson. Be the guiding light of us engineering students tysm
Great video professor. I have a question. Is heat in the form of convection, the flow of enthalpy through a control volume or is it just the flow of internal energy?
I'm almost finished with my apprenticeship as a Diesel mechanic. But i am interested in Aerospace engineering. I read somewhere the I'll need a lot of thing done before i do amy Aerospace courses. But i'll get there one day right?
