The oven clip can be positioned better: Hang the clip from the oven rack like a 'V'. Place it in a gap of the rack, each side of the 'V' suspended from each of the adjacent horizontal bars/runners that form the gap.
Had to watch this video to see what the silver rack clip function was....FYI- The instruction booklet says nothing about the clip - that I could see. Did I miss something in the booklet?
Yes, odd that they don't mention anything in the instructions about the use of the clips. I have the model with four probes and it came with two clips. Even the replacement (spare) parts description on Amazon doesn't make mention of how to use them. ThermoPro should probably do a video just on how to use and position probes.
helpful. thanks. I bought this online and lost the manual...........getting ready to grill a 12 pound turkey on my Kamado Joe....this will help cook it to perfection.
Business opportunity! Nice. Love that roast. Can't wait for Paide or Sergei to put it in the Hub so you can talk to ThermPro and set time, chicken, don't forget to clear first. Hub replies - done!
Well, that's not really clear. Does the timer time the meat once it has reached temperature (which would be great) or when you set it? Need more info about ambient temperature setting. Do you have to use both probes?
Can I still have the alarm set if I am in the User Defined Temperature setting mode? The alarm set button, instead of turning the alarm on, is just raising my set temperature instead.
The meat selector doesn't seem to work for Probe 1...this is frustrating...the only thing that blinks is the icon on the far right which looks like a wheel.
Can I use this thermometer, in a double boiler, where one needle is in a pot with oil and the other is in a pot with water, to measure the temperature up to 75oC? I just bought it for this kind of use and I am afraid that I bought the wrong device. Thank you in advance!
Maybe I don't know what I'm doing but this thing's alarm kept coming on every 20 or 30 minutes so annoying I couldn't get it to stop no matter what I did. Not only that the probes broke after the brisket was done
