I also have the ?P27 thanks to your review and used it for the first time yesterday. Works great. I was wondering what case you ordered. I know that they don’t have one for the TP27 but I could not find on Amazon where they recommended any case for this model. What Model did you order that will work for the TP27. Thanks.
Bill, the clips are able to be squeezed and placed between two of the grate rods. There is a hole at the top of the clip to put the temperature probe through. This keeps the probe horizontally about a half inch above the grate to get a temperature reading at grate level.
