Gabby as always you are so good at explaining things and spot on with what troubles us in our beauty routines. Literally, I have spent hundreds of dollars looking for just the right brow pen or application not only am I aging and so my brows are thinning, I have changed my hair color to match my personality, which is not quite gray yet, so I’m struggling with color and I’ve over plucked because I don’t like seeing the white hairs in there, I’m super lucky because I live around the corner from not only a Sephora but an Ulta so I can get all the products you highlight. Also before I started watching you and found you with Jason Hickock by the way, I didn’t realize the importance of the type of brush to use for each type of application. I love it when you show older models and how you have transformed them. One thing that you could show on the older models which would be helpful is how to navigate through the bleeding lines on the lips for the past few years I have been using, the Maybelline 24 hours stains and they work fabulously, but they do dry your lips. After time you cannot use a gloss without knowing how to stop the bleeding again I just think you are super beautiful and I enjoy watching you. I’m almost not even envious of how beautiful you are and how old I am lol.😂

I agree. Your natural eye brows are beautiful without the gel. The after makeup is too harsh. Though for the purpose of learning a new technique, it’s fun to watch.

As a makeup artist, I really love to perfect and to detail things. They just don't look finished to me and the makeup look isn't polished to my eye unless I fix the asymmetries.

Try rubbing organic hexane free castor oil on your eyebrows at night. It will help them grow

You are so sweet! Thank you for saying that. I have ZERO patience with my nails. I just wear a clear polish and call it a day. I absolutely HATE getting them done and sitting there for an hour. LOL.

It takes a little bit of time to get used to making super precise hair strokes but once you master it, it looks beautiful even when you're up close.

Seriously. My brows will NEVER look as good as hers before she's done a thing. I know she did not mean to but she made me feel bad about my pathetic, scraggly, gross brows.

I'm not over 50 so I understand that the challenges that I have may be different then for those over 50. That is why I try very hard to bring in as many over 50 models as I can. Hopefully you were still able to learn some new techniques from this video though.

Michelle, you nailed it. It's so true that we lose perspective really quickly when it comes to brows. In the attempt to get them more and more and more perfect, they start looking more and more and more like a stencil which is not flattering. I like this stroke technique because they're just softer but still very symmetrical.

I have almost completely stooped plucking them because they were also 90s thin. I pluck a little in the middle now and that's it. I have had SUCH a hard time getting my brows to look how I want them to look though.

It honestly took me forever to get the front part right. Thank you for noticing! It was trial and error for months! You need to use tiny amounts of pressure and make tiny hair strokes.

Have you tried this brow gel? It's actually pretty strong. For very thick wiry brows, sometimes I use the Got2B glued hair spray on a spoolie as well. That stuff has ROCK HARD extreme hold.

I love Glossier. They have such great products! In that flaws video, I did my brows in this EXACT way. I feel like they look so much better now after I mastered this technique. I was so excited to share it with everyone.

Are you wanting to tint them? Or do you mean makeup product? What color is the hair on your head?

Yes you totally do. You need to have a lot of precision for sure.

Have you considered getting them tinted? That may help even out the color and make them look fuller. You would need to do it about every 4 weeks.

Try the color brown. It's not overly warm. The same pen in the NYX brand has a brown that is WAY TOO WARM (almost verging on reddish). I am wearing brown in this video and I don't find it red based at all. To answer your question - trimming your brows can definitely be a great for those with long unruly brow hairs.

I think having it super laminated and glued down is less in style than it used to be last year or even two years ago but groomed is still very in style.
