watching you cook and being filmed by your husband has been a wonderful experience, especially when he eats your dish at the end and loves it. your recipes are solid, easy, and delivered with such calm and grace. have a wonderful new year and keep up the good work! aloha.
I can't remember the last time I made anything with actual cuts of beef, as opposed to ground beef. The prices are just through the roof these days. Thanks for taking prices into consideration. So many other cooking streamers are completely out of touch or tone deaf when it comes to the reality of food costs.
Love your demeanor. I knew there’s something special about you. I watch you almost daily and looks forward to new practical recipes. Will definitely buy your books on Amazon. ~Maricris your big fan from California 🙏🎶
When flipping the egg over for the second time, always use the straight edge of the omelette as a "door hinge". Slide the spatula under the curved edge, tilt the pan 30 degrees toward the spatula and "swing the door open" 180 degrees. That way, the egg never has to come out of the pan in mid air and send debris all over the stove.
God bless, wishing your family best wishes in the New Year. Thank you for sharing your wonderful recipes and great instructions of how easy it can be to make your yummy recipes. 🙏❤️👍👏🏿
Hi Flo & Dude! You both make a wonderful couple, sharing an abundance of recipes. I really enjoy watching your presentation. Keep it up Flo & Dude. May God bless you both & your cooking business.

Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year Flo, Dude and family. Thank you for these and all your delicious cost conscience recipes you gave us thru the year. I am very excited for next year. Also thanks for the kind gesture of lowering the costs of your cookbooks, every penny helps. May God be with you. ❤
You’re a great teacher! I love Asian cooking. Thank you so much! The egg drop soup….out of this world and so easy. ❤. Best to you and your family for 2024.
Flo, you and your family are so giving. Thank you for your book reductions. I was reading an article which said not to buy cookbooks. I say, if you enjoy the person DEFINITELY buy their cookbooks. We need to help you and all the chefs out there to succeed. I have both of yours, and look forward to the third!!
Wow - reducing your cost of your books? I would pay twice for the great recipes I get from you in both volumes! We so appreciate you and your husband = simple faith is they way we try to live our lives….loving Jesus and others. Happy New Year!

I watched your trout video you made 6 or 7 years ago & one of the comments suggested you edit out the male voice. I’m so happy to hear you didn’t! You two should enjoy making these together!!

Happy New Year Flo, Dude and family. Loved these recipes especially the sushi hack although you can keep the avocado, it really doesn’t bring anything to the party IMO (yeah I know I’ll be shot down for this 🤣). Looking forward to seeing what you give us next
I’m not a big comment person but I too own two of your cookbooks. Thank You for all you do and Thank you to Dude as well. I hope you guys have a lovely New Year. You looked so pretty in the intro !!
I used to get one from Costco but they don't carry it anymore. I can't remember the brand name anymore but I think I have seen it at the other supermarkets except it is SO much more expensive than Costco.
Hi @Flo Lum, Happy New Year. I’m a newcomer to your channel. Just wondering whether I can cook all those delicious meals on an induction stove? Is there a difference at all in terms of taste or any other reason? Many thanks.
I have a question, I've been to Ti and Chinese resturants , this recipe has Chicken sauce is corn starch slurry. Bean sprouts, water chest nuts, celery green onion and soy sauce nothing else what is this dish called I can't remember
Flo I don't see and email to contact you so I am writing here. I so enjoy learning from you. My daughter is comibg down from PA to take me shopping at H Mart with a scooter. I am disabled and she takes me out periodically where the stores don't seem to welcome the handicap with no scooters. What are the basic sauces that I should purchase? Also they sell bean sprouts in large bags. Can you freeze bean sprouts? Thanks 4 your help
I made a basic sauces video a couple of years ago that you might find helpful: Main ASIAN SAUCES - Cooking Basics ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-SxuD6N-ZqX0.html If you are starting from scratch, I would recommend light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, oyster sauce and rice wine. You will find most of my recipes have those 4 sauces. Also add a small bottle of sesame oil, if you are able to. I have never tried freezing bean sprouts. Best to Google that one. Have fun at HMart!
Hi Flo, thanks for all the super recipes this year. I made your xmas sticky rice dish and I over did the scallops and shrimps. Any advice to mask the fish taste. Many thanks.
Oh no! I'm not sure. My first inkling is to mix in some cooked scrambled eggs to kind of use more ingredients so that the rice is not so overwhelming. Maybe try that.
@FloLum many thanks for replying, I will follow your advice. I usually follow your recipes to the T and it comes out perfect. This time I bought the little packets of shredded scallops and shrimps 😳
It would’ve been nice if you introduce what you were making in the videos. I’ve noticed that this happened before. When you had compiled recipes together, maybe when you’re introducing the recipe, it gets chopped off at the beginning.
