That's very true, and it's probably the place to start: optimizing operations through digitization. But it's only half the way, in my opinion; you'll also need to have greater investment power today to reap the benefits (carbon and beyond) in the upcoming decades. For now, we're still borrowing from future generations by investing less in infrastructure uptake and renewal than what's simply needed to keep it in shape...
