Imagine a large square room with all mirrors, and the selling and floor also. Then you put quarter globes in each corner to give the effect of a full globe. Then have the wall ond floor corners in the middle of each bottom corners where the wall meets the floor as example also with quarter globes, but shaped like a slice of apple to also give the effect of a full circle 8 times. Then have half circle globes in the middle of each surface such as the floor, ceiling and walls, all lighting up with color changing patterns and so on. A large square room would be perfect for this effect. All the lights would be 8 of each.
Never once heard a Hypercube owner say anything but WOW! In fact the only complaint I've ever seen was from 10" Hypercube owners that say if they knew in advance how insanely awesome the infinity effect is they would've gladly spent the extra $200 for the 15" Hypercube. I have to get one of these, figuring out where to put it in my living room.
Thank you for everything you do and showing off your collection of lights. I would have never discovered this light cube without your channel. It's quite expensive but I couldn't pass up this beautiful artwork. I purchased the 15 inch version through your link and discount. Thanks again, can't wait to get it.
First off thanks so much for supporting the channel and buying through the links with discount! Appreciate your comment, thanks for watching and hope you enjoy your cube!
Amazing. A bit pricey, but I consider them to be basically 6x Infinite Mirror. It's pretty big and it's a lot of leds even if I'd like to build it myself.
So glad I found this channel, great vibes, so much lighting to look at and try out! Will the effect of the 10” be underwhelming / should one just go for the big 15” one in general?
Idea 2: make a float tank( sensory deprivation tank) that the inside looks like this so you could float and forget your body exists as you float into infinity
I don’t like the black stripes on the cube’s sides. I’m thinking maybe in the future they can come up without them and evolve the same way as « Govee’s Glide Hexagon Light Panels Ultra » evolved from « Govee Glide Hexa Pro Light Panels » being that the side’s line could be lit and totally independent from inner lights 🤔. Then again, maybe this cube might just look better just as it is right now. What do you guys think?
After owning the 10 and the 15. Would you say that it’s worth spending the extra money on the 15? It’s $600 vs $1100 in Australia after shipping which is a lot! I don’t want to be underwhelmed with the 10.
@@FUTURESPACECOLLECTIVE Awesome review and demonstration of another very cool product! It is always a great pleasure seeing anything you share, @FUTURESPACE COLLECTIVE , thank you again! I showed your video demonstration of the Ukiah Tailgater fire pit to an office colleague earlier today. They were mesmerized and loved the backyard scene at your friend's place. 🔥🔊🍻
If you unplug it, does the switch stay in the on position when it's plugged back in? I have an Alexa power strip to turn a bunch of stuff like this on and off. Thanks!
Absolutely! The ones I've seen so far have all been thousands, so a bit out of reach for most. But if I can find one at a decent price would love to check out!
Ugh, you sold me dude!! Would you say, for a kid's room, the 15 would be overkill? What would you recommend? 6 year old, for perspective (albeit hard to impress LOL)
Lol! The 10" should be hugely impressive (the coolest kids room anywhere), but 15" if you want to also impress the adults too lol!, They also sell the 6" nano too now! Be sure to use the link and coupon code in the description if your considering a purchase and discount! Cheers.
I think it's pretty appealing as is, but I do agree thinner frame bezels would be favourable! Although I suspect this is potentially as thin as they could get it and still keep the crazy strength it has!
Futurespace Collective, Just purchased a Hypercube 10! Thanks for the coupon code! I've just started building a decent collection of lighting and projectors and wondered what smart plugs you'd recommend? I'd love to have a smart plug product that supports up to 20 or 30 devices that I can control with google assistant or Alexa. I don't mind buying multiple plugs (1 per device) as I can use small cord extenders plugged into a UPS and then into each smart plug. I just want to make sure whatever smart plug company/solution I use can support that many devices in a group. Thanks again for all the content! vgv
hey VGV! That's awesome, hope you're happy with it! I usually use just single smart plugs like this amzn.to/3qdJ2k7 - Sometimes even then connecting a power bar or mulitple items to one outlet, since I don't need individual control of everything!
@@WuClear This thing is a beauty to look at. It is pricey but I'm glad I have it for when I wanna wanna have a wind down session. The ambient light effect on the rest of the room is nice as well. If your in the mood to zone out this will get you there. Some minor critiques to offer after a few months of use: 1. The sound control option seems to require fairly loud music to work well, even with the mic sensitivity turned to 100(max) but I only notice this when I'm trying to not be loud. 2. Related to the first, the control box (that has the mic) is on approx 20" of cable from the bottom of the cube. I would like for it to be longer so I could place it closer to my speakers from where I have my cube to allow for more effective sound mode use at lower volumes. 3. I personally use my cube at a dimmer level as when it is in a dark room it easily performs well at lower brightness. However there is a blue ring led on the control box mode button that doesn't seem to be dimmable. It can be a little obnoxious in a dark room and by virtue of my first two reasons the box with the bright blue light is usually not hidden. I would like to have an option to dim this light and even turn it off. Despite these minor gripes I'm very happy with this purchase and I would buy it again. Another thing worth noting is the sound mode effects are unique from the main and meditative modes. Overall this is a top notch product made of quality materials and excellent software. This cost is justified. I hope this company dosen't sell off to the highest bidder to have its quality watered down as is the fate of many successful startups.
@@jayg2580 Wow! Thank you for the super detailed response. Is it possible to tape that blue ring light thing you are talking about to cover it? Did you get the 15, 10 or the 5.5? I was thinking about just getting a nano to start because I don’t have much room and it would fit in my desk area but everybody that buys the smaller ones alway seems to regret not getting the 15 because they like it so much. I agree I hope they don’t sell out. I definitely would like to get one before that inevitably happens.
@@WuClear Yes the light could be taped, it would also cover the mode button if you wanted to control it without the app (Very basic control). It would be an easy solution. I assume the potential is there for it to be added by software as the app does have a firmware update feature. I was originally going to get the 10" but chose to go all in on the 15".
I love my small Hypercube. So many beautiful colors stretching into infinity. Has anyone ever had their Hypercube turn on by itself? Mine did this morning.
Great lighting video display. Totally awesome synchronisation. Definitely on my to get list. Are they expansive to run. Being LED Lights I thinking it's not that expansive to run for 4 to 5 hrs at a time. Brilliant job show casing the lights cubes
@@FUTURESPACECOLLECTIVE Yah as soon as i saw your video i searched and seen the big ones lol. Thanks for the video, I'm definitely grabbing an 15 inch cube. Looks awesome !
Are they compatible with smart-plugs? In the video he said yes, but I asked for email and they confirmed me that it can cause problems with connectivity
@@FUTURESPACECOLLECTIVE I can’t figure out how to properly use them with smart plugs because everytime I leave it off I have to reconnect it before using and I don’t know why. Also I can’t control thwm when I’m outside, even if I have internet, but maybe this is because I have the “private relay” on
@@andrearollino6441 Try looking for a setting somewhere in the app to set the "first power on function" I know there was a setting like that, maybe it would help your situation.
@@FUTURESPACECOLLECTIVE the only settings that I found are the ones for startup patterns. The problem is that it seems like when i shut off the power (with a smart plug) for a medium-long time the Wifi credentials reset, making me disconnect
Great video. Love the synchronisation of the cubes lights. How expensive are to run for 4 to 5 hours at a time. I like to think it's not to expansive being there LED lights. Great video & thanks for the demo light show.
@@FUTURESPACECOLLECTIVE Yeah I bet! All of your area you live could probably see the lights flashing and on that red table you have.. I was looking at the crystal ball next to the light saber I got!! I want everything you have!!!!! Help!!
