Jonathan Isaac isn't going anywhere...if you don't watch the magic regularly it's easy for you to say that, but his impact when he's in the game is INSANE both offensively and defensively. He's gonna be in the death lineup during the playoffs and we're just waiting to unleash him.
Agreed Issac ain’t going no where love the fact he’s in that role for us off the bench and can start when u need him to he just to valuable as a defender
@@ishmanahan6472 that’s all we need from him that’s the beauty of the way the Magic are built so far we actually lucky to have him in that small role which will pay big dividends and already has look where we are in defense
@@ishmanahan6472 he's coming off years of injuries. He's arguably the best defender in the league and very impactful even if he plays limited minutes, but Isaac will slowly start playing 20+ MPG. Hopefully he stays healthy.
Jalen Brunson, Brandon Miller, Paolo Banchero, Wemby, SGA, Anthony Edwards, Luka, Joker, the freak. I’m extremely excited for the future of the NBA the Changing of the guard has fully taken over and it makes the NBA so much better
Franz and JSuggs same draft was the beginning, the Chicago trade worked out great due to Chicago unfortunate injuries/underperforming. The future is bright for the Magic because they have young talent learning the game correctly.
I agree. I also think they need to focus on acquiring a high percentage 3-point shooter/s, to free up Paolo and Franz from getting double-teamed... Go Magic!
It’ll happen. Their 17-5 in the last 22 games and dealt with injuries to key players when they went 10-18. I like where their heading. As a Boston fan, I don’t wanna deal with Orlando or New York in the playoffs. A couple of key stats that’ll bode well for Orlando for future seasons is defensive rating and steals. Their 4th in both categories. The offensive challenges will get better as Banchero and Franz improve their game along with the GM finding the right pieces.
As a magic fan I love Jonathan Issac, his length gives a lot of elite wing and post players problems, having him to match h up against those player is essential. His shooting has improved and he regularly crashes the boards. The only players in my opinion that should be secured is Paolo, franz, mo, Jalen Suggs, and Jonathan Issac. All we need is 3 and D vets and maybe a playmaker at 1 spot that could also play off ball and space out the floor and has size and a big with a consistent jumper
This is a nightmare for the NBA. All the great teams right arent these massive market teams with millions and billions of fans. As a nuggets fan it’s wild that people are actually forgetting that they won the championship
If you remove all the magic and magic players names here, you sound like you're talking about a younger version of the boston celtics. And IMO if thats the blueprint the orlando GM is going for, they're on the right track. They already have the defense, their Js, their depth, etc. They just need more experiece and 1-2 pieces (their version of KP and Jrue) then they'll be ready to contend.
@@brandonsingh5083 suggs and isaac for sure have potential as defensive studs. The celtics edge though is efficient 2-way play. the same performance on offense is expected. Suggs, isaac, wendell carter, etc will develop. Magic has nice pieces. Shooting is probably the magic's biggest need. Gaining this shooting of course without sacrificing defense. Thats the key.
Houston tried alot of smoke and mirrors to get Orlando to think Jabari was the number 1. Keep in mind the entire draft process every mock and sports personality had Orlando taking Smith.. I was actually perplexed because I watched Paolo play and I knew nobody in that draft was on his level.. The day of the draft we hear Orlando is taking Paolo, I know Houston was punching the wall.
Our front office isn’t getting rid of Isaac, he’s been an absolute stud this year. Markelle, and I’m the biggest Markelle fan, has just simply been off this year. If Markelle comes back it will be on a super cheap front loaded team friendly contract.
I like markelle too but I think it's time to move on from him dude came back and now his jumpshot is back looking funny again 🤦♂️ he can't even do his turn around jumper he was doing last season if magic do sign him it will be on a one year deal to give him one more chance to prove he's the future PG of this team ,it might be his last shot to stay in the league also
@@halftime814 I’d give him a 2 year 15 mill deal, with 9 mill in the first year and a team option on the second year if we don’t find someone to use the cap space on.
I'm a huge fan of both Fultz and Isaac, two guys who have suffered through long term injuries and keep fighting back. Fultz had a bum leg this year and it really hampered him. JI is as good as it gets. He really is a secret weapon. They will never trade him.
Sounds to me like you weren’t too familiar with Paolo’s game. He was ALWAYS a good passer and had great touch and feel, it was part of the reason why people were high on him
Basically a non floor spacer but it would be better if they try to trade for myles turner or draft kyle f ( don’t know how to spell that long ass name yet) and keep fultz because I think he a better option to keep than cole anthony … until black ready to take over the starting pg spot . Keep goga , sign a back up 3&4 forward
I disagree about not bringing in another guard that can create for himself and others. Yes, Paolo and Franz will handle the ball more often, but still need another guard like that. Cole Anthony has been very very inconsistent and has just not played well this year overall. They need someone that can start and play minutes with the second unit. They might need to move Cole.
I think what they need most is a guard who can shoot off the dribble. If he's a great passer, fine. But they really need more shooting. Their offense is what loses them games when they lose.
Johnathan Isaac has his minutes minimized only because it is Imperative that he is healthy for the playoffs. The team dominates every minute he is on the court, especially defensively. It isn't that he can defend all 5 positions. It's that he defends them all at the same time somehow. Trading Isaac would ruin everything.
Klay Thompson doesn´t fit the timeline. They should target a 3&D guy that is around the age of 22-25. I wouldn´t persue a "star player" since this Magic squad has so much talent in development. I´m also high on Anthony Black to become an elite 3&d player in the near future. Jamahl Mosley is known for developing players on the defensive end
@@coreyjohnson5346yeah but black has the potential to be better just because he's 6'7 dude already a good onball defender and he's a pretty good 3pt shooter than expected
Didn't even mention Jalen Suggs and best defender in the league Jonathan Isaac. League in trouble, plus we don't need to add anyone. WE💥G O T💥ALOT💥P O P P I N G
They absolutely need a Guard that can also playmake!! Trae would be special on this team. But that ain’t happening! Perfect fit is probably Simons. we need him. In FA they gonna bring back Isaac, maybe Fultz for vet minimum and they releasing Harris and go after Monk and Tyus Jones So this is what that looks like PG: Simons, T. Jones, AB SG: Suggs, Monk, K. Harris SF: F. Wagner, J. Howard, Houstan PF: Banchero, Isaac, Okeke C: WCJ, M. Wagner, Bitadze If they have the money, they could go after a backup SF option like Oubre Jr or Bey for example
@@cseptember6562I think black developing into more of a 3 &D type player honestly we drafted him cause he was a 6'7 playmakin guard but I haven't seen much playmakin from him this season..
Wonder if they don’t win a title the next 5 seasons will people be screaming for Paulo and Franz to be split up because they’re too redundant. Just give them some time and grace to get better yall. Y’all killed Tatum and Brown and look at what they are doing in year 7 and 8.
Ay u can't become a great team without the media trying to create some drama,I hope this team can stay humble and smiling cause the media will test them
@@Goxilla the Wagner bros could win multiple championships together. And them being brothers could make them bigger stars than Dirk sry your feelings got hurt
Thx for considering my feelings, kid. Would you explain your arguement that being a pair of brothers make you bigger stars than a top 10 scorer of all time who is also a 14 time all star, 12 time All NBA, Member of the 50/40/90 Club, Fiba EuroBasket MVP and Fiba World Cup MVP?
