Thank you, Sir. I like Tubi very much. I like it for all the crazy creature feature movies and comedy horror. Sometimes I find all the choices on the Apps a little overwhelming. I scroll and look at all the choices for too long and then just put the news on and walk away. Have a nice day.
I love the roku interface. The only thing I wish would change is make it easier to organize the channels than having to move and drag them. They should allow you to add a number to the channel, and then that way it will just appear right where you want it, based on the number you give it. I like to categorize my channels by type. Movies in one section, live tv, etc games
First!!! Always wanted to type that. 🤣I use so many of these apps. I really don't watch tv anymore. So much to watch and sometimes I just can't make up my mind. Thanks Michael for your videos. 🤗
I just found your channel probably because I’ve been thinking about getting a Roku streaming device. I’ve had Comcast forever and the prices are just ridiculous at this point. What really burns me is that in order to get my news channels with Comcast, I have to pay for sports even though I never watch sports. I know this isn’t the topic of this video but does anyone have a recommendation of a Roku TV or should I just go ahead and buy the streaming device? My Samsung TV is not a smart TV but it’s in good shape even though I’ve had it for about nine years.
I just cut Comcast yesterday and went with Frontier. My bill was $323 monthly - middle pkg with 6 tv's - needed alot of boxes. Internet now $48. I did have to buy 6 antennas but I'll still be ahead in the long run. I was scared to do it but setup has been so easy! I'm a happy lady, Just get a roku stick, its easy.
Vhs tapes more greater than your video is what is problem have vhs movies in your house it doesn't lock up at all like internet does in the future and people like myself are fixing broken vhs tapes with Scotch tape it starts playing again with out no problem's
The downside of these "free" streaming apps. is that the picture resolution is usually only 480p, AND the audio is usually only 2-channel stereo; NOT 5.1 or 7.1 Dolby Digital +.
I have the first three channels freevee doesn't work when I click on it it starts and at home page shoots back to main menu I've tried and updated and redownloaded to no advail it still doesn't work
For some reason, my roku remote Wont-work? I've charged it everything. I can't get it to work with the other part of itself. So I want to put it on my phone. But I don't know how to do it. I had it there, but something went wrong and I lost it now. I don't know how to set it back up again
You only need a smart tv. You will need to buy a Roku stick to plug into your tv. There are different sticks, mine cost $40.00. A one time purchase of $40 will give you hundreds of movies and tv shows. Such a money saver and so much to watch. You will love it. They have the Roku sticks at Wal-Mart.
Every time I try to watch a program from my Hallmark subscription and my Discovery+ subscription I have to start a 7 day free trial to unlock them. But my Roku list of subscriptions indicate the 2 subscriptions are current. There doesn't seem to be anywhere to say No to the new subscription offer saying I already have it. Help
This happened to me on one TV, other was fine. On the roku went into hallmarks options I think and resigned in using a another email ( used the same) then put in my password and it started working again
I have a question about Roku but couldn’t find an applicable video. We have a 2019 higher end Samsung tv with a Vizio sound bar/subwoofer connected to it through an optical cable. The sound bar does not have an hdmi-arc port although the tv does. We have a roku stick coming tomorrow. From reading, I think I have discovered that the roku remote won’t also control our soundbar since it is connected by an optical cable. Is this correct? So we’ll likely have to use both remotes (Samsung for volume) to use the roku stick?
I don't have an answer for you because I haven't tested that setup. This article may help, but you may want to just wait until your Roku arrives and set it up to try the tips at the bottom of this article: www.makeuseof.com/tag/control-sound-bars-roku-tv-remote/
@@MichaelSaves thank you so much! Recently subscribed after finding your channel. You do such an awesome job explaining and showing everything concisely and clearly!
@@MichaelSaves The Roku stick came today, and despite what I had read, it connected and controls the sound bar perfectly with an optical cable. I did have to adjust the digital output audio delay in our Samsung TV settings to sync the speech to the actor’s lips, but that was easy to do and no big deal. Very happy to only have to use one remote!
Do I need to have my ROKU TV hooked up to the internet to stream OTA-broad cast channels? Some people yes while others say no. Tired of getting the royal run around. Mary
The two are unrelated. You can't watch OTA through the Roku device. You would watch OTA with your antenna on one TV input, and change inputs on your remote to the Roku when you want to watch OTA. HOWEVER, if you subscribe to RU-vid TV, you can get your local channels on your Roku, but personally I think RU-vid TV is way too expensive.
Pluto TV would seem to offer some great programming, but in reality it's just the most efficient means of absorbing continuous advertising ever devised by man. Especially if you want to watch the business news channels. lmbo! As soon as you select it, you get 7 to 9 consecutive commercials, maybe a minute of interview with some woke CEO, and cut back to anther 7-9 commercial block...repeat...all...the...time. Apparently, from the constant ads for the 2 cackling hens podcast, it's all bored housewives watching anyway. Sadly, had to cut this channel loose.
Roku channel sucks in Brazil nothing opens only application that can view is Reuters news why bother why is everything blocked why offer a channel that nothing opens are u listening roku?
There are better free apps with absolutely no commercials but I think I'll keep them to myself 🙂 otherwise they will start putting commercials on if too many people start watching
If it says Fox, I say NO. In fact, I highly recommend that if you aren't a cable cutter and still have a subscription to cable tv, contact your service provider to ask that they remove FOX from your service. People don't realize that the portion of your bill that covers FOX is actually as much or more than premium channels like HBO and you don't have a choice about subscribing. I am not supporting any corporation that is an outlet of propaganda for fascist wannabees.
The fascists are the media companies working as the propaganda wing of the Democratic party. It's the literal definition of fascism. And Fox News is now owned by lefties anyway.
Freevee is a piece of crap. Half the time movies don't play, video and audio or off, constant freezing, and lord help you if you're watching episodes, of one show. Trash
