Scrap, wires and batteries should have the same time, since the queue/MM for all of these 3 are the same, so here you are putting scrap into a disadvantage (going from 0,77 to 0,96) making it the best one

There are 4 VERY important things you missed: 1. Daily and Weekly missions: you can get TONS of Scrap just for playing normally basically, also if you do 8 wins for scrap, 10 wins for Wires, 12 wins for Batteries and 1 other challange you can get Epic container every few weeks, which is worth 300 coins. Also 42 daily missions award you Mining Container which you should sell for around ~35 coins (never sell at the end of week it is cheapest then) 2. You have 200 free fuel every day (which can not be sold) so using it is always gain. 3. Nobody on server can have 100% win rate in PvP matches, so coins gained from all PvP matches are actually lower by around 20-40% i would say, also you can win but die/lose fuel tanks quite often so fuel gain is SIGNIFICANTLY lower. 4. Hard raids for electronics might be best way to get coins...... If you enjoy them.... They drain soul and sanity because they require no brain (with ok build and not trash teammates).... So i wouldn't recommend them unless someone likes them. I love to do Invasions vs Leviathans much more for example as I can see other players ideas of how to build good leviathans and this mode is much more enjoyable, not so monotonous. PvP matches are even better in this regard. What I mean is that it is hard and boring to actually do 20 hard raids in row(not because they are hard but because you just want to leave) ... But very easy to play 20 PvP matches or Invasions in row as they are much more entertaining

Great video, thanks for confirming my value suspicions! I also consider the value of badges from weekly missions, since exchanging badges can net you a decent amount of coins every now and then (haven't seen your video on that yet, but I've run the numbers there myself). For that reason I usually maximize my daily free fuel usage in raids by doing 2 Hard Electronics and 2 Normal Plastic for five days, then doing 5 normal copper raids for the remaining two days; netting 800 badges per week on raids if you don't fail any.

I mean, i knew EXACTLY what are the top 5 spots in both tables, but it was still interesting to go through thr whole calculation the same. The only thing that must be said, is that the challanges play a major role. So before you start grinding wire and batteries missions, do all the challanges first. Also, on the days that Gaijin gives one day of free premium, it is highly effective to grinf plastic raids, even if you buy fuel to do them. It is however really borring. Also, wires tend to have a stable price, while during seasons and certain time limited events, a price of batteries can jump up to 5 coins pre 10 pieces, instead of 1.7 usuall price. So it might be usefull to stockpile batteries rather than wires in the long run

Great guide and spot on, I've been here long enough now that I dont even carry fuel tanks anymore (easier for the enemy to splode you) but all new players should carry tanks. I do the same thing every week starting on Sunday first i run batteries to get the engineers badges then scrap then wire's so thats 12, 8 and 10 matches i believe then I just continue with wires till its done then move to scrap till its done which is usually by Saturday then just do batteries till the new week starts and I hold on to everything till there's good exchange rates or as good as I think there going to be and sell in bulk at that time. I dont even run raids anymore just PvP unless there's some mission I have to run like for the battlepass season.

You did your homework, I respect that.

In addition to getting 200 fuel a day, you also earn scrap and badges for completing the daily and weekly challenges. Badges can be traded in for any resource so basically you should follow the challenges that give the most reward first. (Hard raids then batteries then medium raids, wires and so on. And make sure to complete your dailies) Once you've completed all challenges for the week you can use this guide to keep grinding. Also, I am somewhat reassured that your ranking pretty much matches the badge rewards for weeklies. You aren't really losing anything by prioritizing the dailies.

I’m on Xbox but is the same, electronics are the big deal. 50% bonus from premium lifts the reward even higher. 100 electronics are about 200 coins on Xbox. Very nice video👍👍 i was to lame to do all this math in detail. But the only Raid i did all the time using the free fuel was electronics😅

1. First 200 fuel is "free" and unsellable, use or lose it. 2. Different versions of Raids give different reward amounts. Raid selection counts beyond "copper, plastic or electronics."

The amount of copper in Leviathan mode depends on your power score, for example, at 14000 PS the average copper is 240. The adventure mode is not worth mentioning for beginners as it's a good source of XP for the engineer faction which allows you to build larger build.

you could always just build the highest profitable purple item and just buy all the cyan parts needed straight out the market, do this for both factions at the same time and that's 200 coins made in passive time of 6 hours, and then grind scrap and copper also grind badges and then trade them in for copper as well

I came back after 5 years and was shocked to see how much has changed. My buddy helped me but he's not f2p so this was very helpful. I just have to grind now to unlock hard raids now. Thanks for the info bud.

Using your same formula on xbox for times, and the current xbox prices, it comes out that just running scrap missions and selling the fuel tops the chart. Fuel and scrap prices are just that much higher and the speed of the missions makes it better investment. Bit of a bummer that the best way to earn money is bot smashing.

Something I feel was left out and should be taken into consideration is raids are proportional to how well you score, i.e. how many enemies you destroy. Even though you earn score just for completing objectives you earn it from also destroying enemies. That means that raids are much less reliable sources of income. Otherwise, great video man!

Dont forget that not all raids gove the same reward total Frontier defense is easily the best raid to do as you can earm waaay more than any other raid and steel cradle is the worst raid to do

This is a really cool comparison for what it is, but the title is misleading. This is really about which game modes earn the most money on their own. But as for the best way to earn money, you have to factor in the daily/weekly challenges. That's where the real money is.

Only do the raid s wich says , Turrents can be use d for protection. You ll gain waaay more rec.

I’m the comment you’re looking for. Mission for wires and sell wires if you don’t have fuel to use. Hard raid for electronics and sell electronics if you have fuel to use.

Also doing hard raids for 500 badges is very worth it, and once you get 3k badges then you can buy an epic container and sell it for 330 coins,

Just fyi the "perimeter defense" missions give more than others but they do take longer

The raids also use gasoline that you can't sell so use all of it every day

Right now the Ashen Ring event for the season provides Plastics for a reward. About eighteen or so from my own experiences.

What i do is pay close attention to many parts on the market, waiting for a drop. When there is a good deal, invest invest invest. When the price goes back up again, sell sell sell. Great with resources. I stopped crafting and i went from 400 coins a week to 2k. Definitely worth

As of the new battlepass, the new game mode introduces a way to get plastic without expending fuel and this may affect prices.

personally I find that if you wanna make money, play raids to get copper, play cw to get a lotta scrap and then craft blue items to sell

i have noticed a difference in rewards in some modes depending on PS-score. in leviathan raid i get about 100 copper with minimum PS-score, but with 10000 PS i get about 160 copper. also i would like to add the type of raid greatly changes the amount awarded (steel cradle giving the least) you can see this at 7:25

I believe batteries will move up on your list since 100 units will be required to craft epics after next patch. Xbox market price has almost doubled in value

Yo man good job. I know it's a bit nitpicky, but have you taken into account raid types and their speed vs the earnings? I see you've settled down on CPM, so perhaps quicker raids would throw a wrench into the maths. But from what I know quicker raids are objectively bad. I wish devs made all raids equal cause I hate waiting for the occasion to play specific raid type, and imo defense is 3rd raid in ranking of fun (except on crater, on crater its super fun).

You forgot to mention flipping purples or legendary is also a great way to make money. The market is also different between consoles as well(aka PCs market is cheaper than Xbox’s and ps4s) copper by the 100 are about 10 to 11 coins every hundred while scrap is about 14 to 15 coins every 100

One thing you didnt take into account was the match making time. It seems that pvp takes longer to find a match then raids (pve). You should take into account the expected amount of matches you can beat in an hour instead the time it takes to beat a match. Edit: I now realize why he didn't, switch your server to Russia and matchmaking is instant, used be about 4 minutes now its 5 seconds

I get 40-45 plastic for medium frontier defence. Thats around 13-14 coins for a 10 minute game with free daily fuel.

One thing I don't understand in this game is why people sell items for less than their worth in crafting. Literally this makes the whole system pointless because it's more productive to sell raw materials than it is to craft and sell stuff. Why do people even bother crafting?

@TCS23 BIG QUESTION PLZ ANSWER: It looks like this vid was made playing on PC. Do these rankings remain true across PS4/ other consoles? I play on ps4 and to me the numbers dont seem to match up, but maybe it's just me. Or maybe at least the rankings are still could be true even with different resource prices ? Can anyone verify this? Maybe I'll repeat your repeat your research and math process on my PS4

Ive found out a way to farm 40-50 gold, You just need alot of fuel, Or you can just play missions alot while using fuel barrel and fuel tank which gets you 15 fuel per game (If you won), Using that fuel to farm plastic raids and getting 100 plastic and selling it for 40-50 gold depending on demand.

Yea it is still slightly simplified cuz there are things like time spending in queues But i have a question, doesnt it more profitable to do 3 leviathan raids for a total time of 7:36 and get 2,94$ instead of 1 for electronics? In matters of time/money. Besides you have free fuel and the raid costs less amount of fuel than electronics. ffs im so dumb to misunderstand that the info is coins per minute

Ok so since i started playing crossout about 4mnths ago im doing scrap missions and plastic raids only and at that time by my calculation plastic in frontier def was the most valuable... Maybe if u count plastic prices whn they r high(36-40 for 100) and do plastic on frontier def(which gives 24 avg per match) it will be the most profitable raid... 🤔Btw really informative video gg

If anyone still comes here to read my sad comments to the dubious advise proposed in this video: 1: In every mission where you compete against living players, being a new player (noob, if you like) you cannot hope to win more than 50 % of encounters. You should probably consider yourself lucky to win 30 - 40 % of your encounters. For this reason, the calculations for missions made by TCS23 are hugely optimistic. Your actual earnings for missions could be as little as half of his estimates. 2: Adding a fuel tank to your vehicle is always a liability. It makes your vehicle far easier to destroy. This becomes a lesser problem, the more "armor" you can add to your vehicle to embed and hide the fuel tank. But as a beginner, you will certainly feel the pain if you bring a fuel tank. This decreases the scope of fuel harvesting, if you are new to the game. 3: The major source of easy coins is not by selling resources like scrap, but by building rare components and selling them. Sometimes you can even make some profit by selling common components, because prices may fluctuate a lot. But rare components are a more reliable income source. Note that building and selling special equipment is a very bad idea. Epic components may be profitable in some situations, but generally not as profitable as rares. 4: If you find that you have accumulated a lot of plastic, wires, or batteries, you will probably need them at a later time to build more advanced equipment, or to get certain upgrades. It is generally a bad idea to sell any of these commodities. Scrap may be an exception to the rule, as you may end up with far more scrap than you have a use for. But if you sell too much, you may end up buying it back later, which means a net loss of around 20% of the original scrap value. 5: A very nice way to get several 100 coins at once (200 - 400 approximately), is to accumulate badges and exchange them for the epic Pathfinder crate, each time you have gathered 3000 badges. It takes some grinding to get the maximum amount, but you will accumulate badges every week, just by playing. You can either sell the box, or open it to see if you want to keep, or sell, the contents. If you just want to sell, it may be safer to sell the crate unopened. (However, in another video, TCS23 explains that the chance to get a better price by opening the crate and then selling the contents, is about 60%.) 6. If you can part with some real-world money, you can pay the basic season fee to get all the goodies at a reasonable price (10 euros). During events you will also get to earn extra coins, often 1000 or more, with relative ease. Or you could pick up some of the cheaper "packs", timing your purchase to when they are on sale at, usually, 50% discount. Carefully investigate the contents to find out if there are parts that you can sell off. Many packs contain the same type of engine, coolers, wheels and so on. 7. Sometimes you will be given a premium subscription as a free gift. Usually for two days, but sometimes for up to a week. This means that you can earn 40 coins every day, just by winning two missions. This takes 5 minutes, which is probably the fastest in-game coin profit possible. 8. It is possible (barely) to make money on the components market, by carefully timing your transactions. This is highly risky, because you loose 10% when you buy and a further 10% when you sell. But placing bids can result in some good deals. 9. Some players say that Invasion is a good source of copper. The problem is, it is also a reliable waste of repair kits (respawn-icons). I find it difficult to actually earn credits by playing against the cheasy leviathans that some players field. It doesn't help that many players just give up after getting killed twice, making things much harder for the one or two players who try to fight on. I would not recommend Invasion to a new player.
