Every hour, a young person in the U.S. is diagnosed with cancer. In 2015, Teen Cancer America's 50 States, 50 Stories series visited teens across the country to capture their stories and unique voices. These teens need dedicated spaces, teams, treatments, and research to improve their experience, outcomes, and survival.
Teen Cancer America partners with hospitals throughout the United States to develop specialized facilities and services for teens and young adults with cancer. We build teen friendly environments, develop standards for age-targeted care, improve collaboration between pediatric and adult specialists, and support dedicated research to improve outcomes and survival rates.

They right ....... they need more support, cancer is not exactly a disease that goes along with baby’s or children’s different crying.young adults have a different cry . They are in between . So it will be nice to all the hospitals to build a unit for them....! God Blessed !

Life as Jayona; Please do not fear cancer, the worst things we fear will not happen!!! If you are diagnosed tell those power hungry, money hungry doctors and nurses to fuck off!!! The pain is not worth the gain; then go and die with dignity. Medicine is money orientated!!! Those doctors and nurses deserve to burn in hell!!!

@@Nova-vw3eu Thank you, Nova!!! Sometimes one must be vulgar in order to make ones point. I know of a respected and gifted doctor who looks like a rock star, rides fast cars and motorbikes, listens to rock, and shows his teenage children....... pornography!!! I told him that I would report him for child endangerment, and I would not trust him as far as I could throw him!!! Those oncologists peddle false hope in order to make money. They receive a commission on chemotherapy drugs. Those children are given agonizing treatment, for just a few extra years of "life". Those that survive may face severe health problems, sometimes cancer returns. Parents may be left bankrupt, but who cares. Please see the revolting case of Connecticut teenager, Cassandra Callender. Chemo drugs can burn through linoleum, and sometimes nurses have to wear " spacesuits" when administering it. Please go onto a children's cancer ward to see what I mean. Half of those nurses do not care, it is institutional child-abuse. Please reply to me.

When I watch st Jude's on TV those precious children that have all types of cancer why my heart goes out to the parents and those dear sweet children I pray that someday that this will not happen

iam 17 and i have a tumor in my bladder. i shouldnt be having this at my age. iam very active i got to the gym , i eat healthy i never smoke. when i heard about it my life came down crashing . iam massively depressed and my anxiety keeps telling me ill die tomorrow. idk what to do . iam so scared

Hey! I wanted to tell you somethin amazing: Jesus died on the cross to bear our sins, and become the ultimate Sacrifice. Jesus paid the dept we owed, and now if we believe in Jesus, and repent of our sins we can go to Heaven instead of hell. Jesus is going to come back soon, so we need to be prepared and ready for that day when He will separate people as a shepherd separated sheep from goats. ❤️

U wonder some counties have remedies drugs to help or altrnative drugs diet and here the fda knocks a lot of things down the phramacutial companies make the drugs but alot of time the insurane companies won't pay a lot of people have that especially if u have certain types of cancer that require chemo radiation so unfair our health care systems suck here in the States. Big time
