These Barbie dolls… OMG!!! Barbie Signature LOOKS doll review and unboxing (LOOKS 7 & 10) 

Yes, the BFMC dolls are amazing. I think that was Mattel's best line as far as quality of doll making, particularly in its first 15 years. However, they are basically out-of-reach due to price. I'm not sure if you have checked the secondary market prices lately, but most are $200 and up (some over $1000). It also depends on the era one likes. I was in my 20s when the line was in full swing, and I hated the vintage faces and couldn't relate to the fashions. So, I passed them up even when they went on sale. However, now that I am older, I like them better. I have a few and would buy more if they didn't break the bank.

@@c.w.2000 That's a shame. I've been afraid to check the secondhand prices because of all the buzz in the doll community about hiking prices. But I'm not surprised to hear that.

I think that must be why I perceived them as so overpriced? I also saw some in person at FAO Schwartz in like July and they were priced around $40 and I was like?? HUH??

She’s an incredible doll truly. I cannot wait to see more from Barbie Looks because they really have been releasing gorgeous dolls consistently. Have you seen the Barbie Basics dolls by the way? I think you’d like them!

@@xCanadensis Very interesting! No, I haven't seen them, but as I said I'm not very fond of Barbies, but this one in particular blew me away! I mean this Barbie doll doesn't even look like a Barbie to me. It looks more like a piece of art, like a small artistic statue. I'm probably exaggerating but this is how impressively stunning this Barbie is! I will check those Barbie Basics dolls you're telling me about anyway, who knows, I may start collecting Barbie dolls myself from now on? Hahaha.

They have names?! Or is that the sculpt name?

@@xCanadensis yeah, it’s the name of the sculpt. Kinda like having a name. Lol. Simone is my absolute favorite of the looks dolls.

@@xCanadensis All 12 dolls up to this point are the first to use their own sculpts, so they are the first to be an official “Simone” and “Tamika.” Lina and Victoria have had other dolls come out after them using their faces, and Andra, Elle, and Victoria have reappearances in the upcoming wave 3.

I was so impressed by what they considered “not mint” honestly! I was so excited when they contacted me because I loved shopping with them with my dad!

I will never have a particularly large collection of action figures but I will continue to collect some. I would like to find a place for them on here but I’m not 100% sure how.
