It's a team game the combined skill of one team is tested against the combined teams skill of another team. You win as a team or lose as a team. The only thing that should concern you is can you improve what you do to make that equation come out in your favor. You can't improve other players so there's no point in blaming them instead of just moving on.

You are right, but bronze/silver mentality is "I showed up and did my job, we only lost because someone wasn't doing their job" especially on support. No self-criticism, no introspection, just looking to have their favorite streamer alleviate them of any guilt as it makes their loss feel less bad.

The #1 piece of advice I have for this mercy that isn't something super obvious or generic (like "have better positioning" or "ult/blue beam more") is this: stop staring at your beam target so much. Besides being helpful for flicking beam around, there are always many chances for mercy to get some glock kills in bronze, and that will help a lot to climb. This mercy gameplay is not bad, but it's very passive and you will struggle climbing with it.

Okay I main support but I've been playing a lot of DPS recently. I focus on peeling for my supports a lot because I'm sympathetic lol, but what I noticed watching this video is that the Ram was constantly running at the backline and the Sigma just kind of ignored him every time. Neither the DPS nor the tank reacted to the backline being pushed, which left the supports out of position a few times, and dead a few more times. Supports could've switched to better escape/counter the tank (Lucio can run from Ram, and cancel his ult with beat), but if they were being peeled for that wouldn't have mattered.

As a tank player: I will let the other tank run past me if I think my teammates can handle them. Who I focus depends on what tank I'm running, what the matchup is and how well my teammates (specifically the DPS) are performing. Usually I'll turn and burn dive tanks once I've scared off or killed their supports. But I tend to rely on DPS to at least peel for less mobile supports, coz if they aren't doing that, the game isn't gonna go well. @lyrathedrunk As someone who mains tank and flexes support: learn to play Bap; he does solid damage output and is more consistent than Illari at a longer range. He's the original DPS Support for a reason. His survivability is also incredible even despite the nerfs this patch.

the submitter could REALLY benefit from taking highground way more often. i mean the same could be said for anyone in metal ranks, but especially as mercy there's not much reason to stay on the ground or stand main most of them game. understandably, they might not have the mechanics to stay afloat indefinitely yet, but there's a lot of moments when they wouldn't have taken any damage or even be looked at just by standing and beaming from a balcony. and the beauty of rialto is that almost every highground has plenty of wall cover and escape routes
@sethescope
@sethescope Год назад
ftr, it's not a good idea to stay perpetually in the air as Mercy. using superjump to get to high ground and a good position is a much better idea and habit than using superjump as positioning, where you're most likely staying in full view of the enemy - or at least staying in full view for longer than necessary. but high ground, yes, we love that. it's excellent. but something I had to learn when I was gold and below was WHY I should use high ground, as mercy or anyone else. sometimes you just go on high ground because you should and then stand out in the open, in full view. Instead, it's important to use it as free cover AND to make the enemies choose between going for you or going for your team.

Yup, even bunny hopping from a teammate and behind a secure wall out of the enemies line of sight would have been useful for not only keeping themself alive and avoiding unnecessary damage, but also would help their teammates since they have a healer that isn't taking too much damage from this exchange. Flicking upwards while flying to someone would have also made them a harder target during that fight too. Definitely needed to exploit the higher ground, and just their surroundings in general. But overall, pretty good mercy play.

comment #1 bc YT doesnt like how long my comments are lol first of all, re: stats, stats mean fuck all in overwatch. so what if you did 18k healing? were you healing squishies when they were low or did you let them die in order to heal the tank? did you heal so much because fights lasted forever when your damage boost could have ended fights quickly? etc. numbers don't mean anything. if you are wondering why you're not climbing, the numbers will never tell you why. in fact, the numbers will most often make it seem like you're doing fine. overwatch is too complex to be quantified. you have to watch your replays and focus on what you actually do when you do it, what you should have done instead, etc. don't get me wrong, if i lose a game where i feel i did well (regardless of whether that's actually true), i will use my stats to comfort myself LOL but i also KNOW that my stats don't tell the full story. also, mute teammates who blame you. they might be right sometimes but it will just distract you from focusing on yourself. there will be games when you were the problem but someone screaming at you wont help you improve 1:25 cart is rarely, if ever, Mercy's job. i know you want to push the cart, I'm very glad you're aware of the objective, but that's not your job. every second of avoidable beam downtime (like when you're sitting on cart) is a second of value you're not contributing. uptime is everything in gold and below. if you MUST push cart, don't stand still on top of it. use it as cover. right now, you're asking to be headshot. 1:31 damage boost the winton to get the kill. heres something i think a lot of lower rank Mercy players, including me sometimes, either don't know or don't fully appreciate: damage boost is impactful because it helps your team secure elims and win the fight faster. yes, your tank is a bit low, but they're still a tank, they've still got like a bajillion HP. if you damage boost for the few seconds it will take to secure the elim and THEN heal, you get ult charge for both things + you're increasing the ult charge your tank gets too. Mercy excels in low ranks because a good Mercy means your team gets kills faster than the enemy supports can heal, which maximizes the time your team can push cart uncontested. 1:47 so far, you seem like you're too afraid to commit to being in the fight. you will do something and then disengage to go to cart, then you will leave cart (either literally or just figuratively, in the sense you will stop thinking about the cart and then start thinking about something else). you need to always be fully engaged in the fight. you need to always be thinking about how you can be contributing. you're not a spectator. good Mercy players are constantly supporting, constantly contributing. they are never sitting back and watching their team/waiting for their team to do something. if you wanted, you could GA with your Winston while damage boosting him and slingshot back across the bridge*. you would be supporting them while staying safe yourself and you'd be in range to continue supporting. *GA to your target, turn around before you reach them, press space. the space will slingshot you in whatever direction you're facing, even if you are facing the direction you came from. i personally prefer this to backwards GA (GA, press S, then space) because it is faster. backwards GA has a speed penalty. yes, it means my camera is briefly pointed away from my beam target, but I am more quickly back in a safer position, which is something i am currently working on prioritizing) even from such a short period of time watching, I believe one of your biggest barriers to improvement is because you have so much downtime. there have been so many opportunities for you to contribute proactively and aggressively. i dont know if its because you're afraid of dying or because you're still working on understanding Mercy's role, but just because you're not the one shooting at enemies does not mean you should be passive and waiting. a good Mercy is never waiting for something to happen; a good Mercy is busy making things happen. 1:50 your instinct to damage boost your dps (in this case, your reaper) is a good one, but what is it accomplishing? he's too far away to do any damage. reapers range is PAINFULLY short lol you'd contribute an insane amount of value by boosting Winston who is actively doing damage right now. don't damage boost anyone just because. damage boost the people who are actively doing damage or who are about to actively do damage. otherwise, you're playing insanely passively and not actually doing anything to help your team. sometimes it's good to boost reaper as they TP in because it helps their damage be burstier, even if its just for a second, but I don't think that was your intention. a huge thing about playing Mercy is you need to have a reason for doing anything. Mercy is all about constant decision making. Mercy is about "I am going to GA to X because i can damage boost X and Y from that cover and X is about to go in based on their body languages so i need to be there to contribute max value to my team" and "i am not going to res X because we are 5v3 and X will get back faster than anyone else, I should save res for someone slower" 2:03 no need to disconnect your beam from winston. you can continue to beam winston while repositioning around the cart to heal Kiriko. once Kiriko is in view, then disconnect beam from Winston and beam Kiriko. this is another example of your downtime. thankfully moments like these are easily identifiable and easy to fix, and they add up so much! 2:45 listen, i get it, I've played so many games where i just could not let myself trust the other support to heal the tank lol so i get it. however, you are a SUPPORT, not a HEALER. just because someone is not at full hp does not mean they need to be healed NOR that YOU SPECIFICALLY need to heal them. damage boost! you're playing with a Kiriko who can do a lot of healing. Mercys healing is not weak, but in this situation, damage boost is more impactful. Niandras advice has helped me a lot here - basically, make damage boost your default beam state. by default, hold damage boost down. you can ALWAYS swap to healing (tip: if you hold down damage boost but then tap healing while still holding down boost, the beam will swap to healing. take your finger off healing while still holding down damage boost, and you're back to boost. this will be a game changer. other Mercy players like skiesti actually swap the key bindings, but the downside to that is if you use the pistol, you have to hold down right click to fire which is not intuitive to me at all. i totally prefer just holding my middle finger down by default.) 2:51 in case you didn't know, reaper has life steal. he heals himself a little whenever he does damage. you could heal him briefly and then swap to damage boost. healing briefly would get his hp to a safer range and then damage boost means he would self heal more. little bursts of damage boost like this add up! 3:05 another instance of downtime. just do SOMETHING. damage boost SOMEONE even if it's not the best target or the most impactful. hell, even heal someone even if they're not in any danger. it's better to contribute a little bit - or at least be ready to contribute - than contribute nothing at all. 3:32 smt you really have to be mindful of on Mercy is stepping on your other supports toes with healing. ask yourself: does Winston really need both of you healing them right now? or can you be doing something else? sometimes there will be emergencies when yes both supports need to heal the same target, but i dont think this was one of them. Winston had their bubble up and Kiriko was healing them. if you steal healing when you could be doing smt else, Kiriko won't build kitsune as quickly. kitsune is a very impactful ult, that's one you WANT to have asap. you will still build your ult if you are doing something else. you don't need to be positioned here btw. you're so far away from your reaper, & reaper with a mercy can be absolutely deadly. you should be within range to help them out. you have GA to escape quickly if needed a big thing you will benefit from practicing is taking calculated risks. be less afraid. Mercy has high survivability between GA, the ability to beam from behind cover (due to beam remaining active for 1.3sec after a target becomes invalid), and her support passive + mercy specific passive. if you're too afraid to participate in the fight, you'll never climb bc you're forcing your team into a 4v5 or a 4.5v5, placing them at a disadvantage. staying alive is pointless if you're not doing anything. 4:20 always have an escape plan in mind, no matter what. also, work on using the full length of the beam. you didn't need to be so close to your Winston here. being too close to your allies is often the wrong move bc it means the enemy can shoot at you and probably hit one of you. make the enemy choose between going after you and going after your team. 5:26 this is a small thing, but it might be worth it to tank a little bit of the moira orb in this situation (you are very safe behind cover) so your team doesn't take it. you will regen health easily. you wouldn't even need to ask for heals, you can just let your passives handle it. ideally, junkrat would move away from the orb but that's probably not going to happen lol it would mean you have to heal less and can damage boost (aka contribute to kills/any shield break) more, meaning you are having more of an impact. 6:15 Sigma has shields (blue hp) which auto regen. you could have either left the healing for your other support or kept an eye on sigma to make sure the shields regen. just because someone is missing hp does not mean healing them is the highest value contribution you can make

One thing I noticed a few times. Tunnelvision. You'd either focus on healing or damage boosting one person whilst others were at low hp for quite a while. The hanzo was at 10 hp for 4-5 seconds while you were damage boosting the soldier and the bap was in spawn. Same with kiriko, tunnelvisioning on doing dps at times
@sethescope

comment #2: 6:23 jsyk, you can damage boost part of Sig's ultimate. you can boost when he lifts people up, not the slam down. however, it's a good habit to damage boost through the whole thing to help Sigma get the people caught in the ult below 50% hp. why? because if any target caught in Sigma's ult has lower than 50% hp, they will die when they are slammed down. the slam down portion of the ult ALWAYS does 50% of the target's total hp. note: TOTAL hp, not current hp. if a 200 hp squishie is in the ult and has 100 hp or less, they will die. 6:33 you have a habit of thinking about your positioning second, what you think you need to do first. here, you walk to beam your teammate and then walk into cover/a safer position. do that the opposite way. position first, support team second. if you took a hanzo arrow to the head here, that would be 100% your fault and 100% preventable. it might take a nano second longer, but you can't support your teammates if you're dead, ESPECIALLY if your death was so free (i.e., no cooldowns were invested to secure your death, AKA you died for absolutely nothing) 6:50 you are in full view of a spawn entrance that snipers use occasionally. you are a free kill currently. take two steps backwards and be on the stairs, less in full view of the enemies. you can peek your teammate every second or so to keep your beam connected, you don't need to be constantly staring at them. take advantage of the fact you don't need to be constantly looking at your beam target! stay in cover! check for flankers! one of my absolute favorite things to do as mercy is be my teammates' eyes and ears. I let my anchor teammate know if theyre being flanked by keeping my head on a swivel and pinging if i see anything. I keep them safe while supporting them with my damage boost and healing. they need to he focused on aiming. they HAVE to look at whats directly in front of them. you DONT. 8:50 you see how you're weaving kunais with your ofuda? you're healing and doing damage at basically the same time. that's good! that's an important part of playing Kiriko. now apply that same concept to Mercy - always be doing something, always be contributing and helping apply pressure to the enemies. some supports help apply pressure through direct damage. Kiriko does it with her kunais. Mercy does it with damage boost. same idea, different tools. 9:10 if you pay attention here, you're clearly just tossing your ofuda to toss them, not making sure they're going to hit the target. it looks, to me, like the result of distraction. you're looking for a flanker, etc., which isnt a bad thing! that's an important way supports can contribute to the team. this is a small thing, but you never want to do something mindlessly. you dont need to spend a long time looking for a flanker. you can just quickly shift your eyes for a brief second to look for red outlines. pay attention to audio clues too! you're more likely to hear a flanker before you see them, especially after the footsteps audio buff a few seasons ago. footsteps and such are VERY clear now so pay attention to what you hear as well as what you see. 9:59 you seem so much more confident on Kiriko. you seem more confident in your understanding of how to balance healing and damage. once you fully understand that the same balance applies to Mercy, just with damage boost instead of damage, you'll be a lot more successful with Mercy. remember that kitsune and Valkyrie are both excellent engagement ults. this was a well timed kitsune imo (ulting from further back would be better i think?) and you can use Valkyrie the exact same way, provided you're using it to damage boost. mass damage boost is a hugely impactful way to start a fight. 10:54 cancel your GA early to stay in relative cover. you don't want to fly all the way to your teammate here, you just want to get a bit closer to maintain beam connection (more ideal to damage boost a dps or even your Bap when Bap is dealing damage). make sure you have toggle GA OFF. having it off means you hold down the button to GA and if you want to cancel it, you just take your finger off the button. this gives you so much more control. here are my personal Mercy settings that i recommend you try out: toggle beam connection OFF toggle GA OFF GA prefers facing target (this is the best of both worlds imo and is far more intuitive than prefers beam target only but gives you more utility and options than prefers facing target only) i believe my GA and beam sensitivities are set around 80% which works for me, but a lot of people have the sensitivities set even lower. lower sensitivity means you have to be more accurate with choosing beam and GA targets, which gives you more control. but this is definitely more of a personal preference. HOWEVER, you will never find your personal preference if you never try other options out so definitely play multiple games with each different setting to find out what you like. don't just play one game and decide you dont like something. new settings will always feel awkward, so give yourself a chance to get used to each setting so you can make an informed choice 11:02 look around proactively! its commom for enemies to flank using the bridge on the right side. a flanker might appear on the high ground in front of you or to the left or right. you don't need to aim much as Mercy so take advantage of the fact you can beam someone while looking in any direction you please. be constantly looking around, don't just stare at your team constantly. but don't forget about your team either, you need to keep up with the fight and change beam targets based on who's actively doing and taking damage. also, you're playing with a Baptiste. you really shouldn't be healing much because Bap can handle the healing way more efficiently. focus on damage boosting so you're maximizing the support contribution to the team. 11:13 the most impactful contribution you could be making here would most likely be damage boosting soldier. he has consistent long range damage, plus self heal so he can heal the tiny bits of damage he takes. he gets ult charge for healing so letting them handle healing the occasional 10-15 damage they take while damage boosting them means they will build visor very quickly! auto aim ults are extremely powerful in bronze 11:34 a lot of what youre doing here is good. you're damage boosting soldier and ignoring when he's a tiny bit low, you're not healing other allies because your Bap is alive. thats great! however, positioning positioning positioning. you do not need to be on cart. Rialto has a lot of great pieces of cover you can be using to stay safe. you're all bunched up with your allies and i can see how stressed/overwhelmed you are. try using the little mini pillar/planter things as cover. try slingshotting yourself to the alley on the right. try superjumping to the high ground behind/above you. try getting to the archway to the left by the mega. all are potential options for cover. an important aspect to playing Mercy is using your positioning to benefit your team in two ways. 1) good positioning will protect you far more than your teammates ever will until you're in high gold and in plat, so you will stay alive. if you are alive, you should be supporting your team. more support = higher likelihood of winning. 2) good positioning forces the enemy to choose btwn going for you snd going for your team. if the enemy wants to kill you, make them work for it. make them invest cooldowns. make them invest time and energy. make them invest resources. sure, they might get you, but at least you traded your life for enemy resources that they now can't use against your teammates. don't be a free kill. 12:12 valking was the right choice, but prioritize touching cart. i assume you thought you would be close enough, which totally happens so thats not a big deal. but bc your team was fairly close, you have the luxury of taking a second to ensure you are contesting. also, it's good practice to always get some form of cover while ressing. you're constantly regenerating health in valk, so you can twist around cart, even in torb sauce, and get the res. BUT what is very important to learn here is that the res is not the priority. contesting the cart is. if you res, great, but none of this matters if you're not touching the cart. again, i assume this was just a mistake (one that i have definitely made before lol many times!) but I provide this explanation to help you develop your decision making. honestly, I think it may have even been smarter not even to go for the res and use the soul to help you contest the cart, i.e., use it to GA around like crazy and stall until your team touches. you have 13 seconds to res. you don't have to rush it, and your team might not even need it. 12:40 you're frontlining lol that's not exactly Mercy's strength. here, you want to be in the back. i know you're worried about cart, but cart is not your job here. you need to stay alive so you can support your team. mercy can shine in high pressure situations like this, and you need to be alive to damage boost at critical moments and heal up your team. right now, you are in the open. this kind of positioning is why you are in bronze, unfortunately. any half competent dps player would murder you in an instant. the only reason you're not insta punished for it is because you're facing bronze dps. 14:26 although i do agree with emongg re: the overall cause of the loss, there is so much more you could have done to influence the outcome of each team fight and round and the overall game. and even if none of it would have changed the outcome of this match, all of the mistakes and downtime you have throughout this match will be the reason you lose other games. they are the reason you lose other games. hopefully these comments are helpful! let me know if you have questions & i can try to clarify &provide context and insight. good luck on the climb!

There is so many moments on kiriko and sometimes mercy where switching targets to heal is so unbearably slow that she let's them die. She full heals backline dps out of line of sight and very very slowly snails around and eventually healing the targets that are actually in combat. It's not her fault that the tank is playing out of position and aggro. But it is her fault that the target priority and timing is very very off.
@azseal2669
@azseal2669 Год назад
My take: everyone's playing decently but they're all tunnel visioning and have different playstyles. But then again it's a low ELO lobby. * The tank's too aggressive for the characters they've chosen to play and needs to shift their mental to adjust to whatever tank they've picked. * The supports were doing well but could've counter swapped sooner in the face of how often they're being dived. * The DPS were getting picks but weren't really following up on the tank's damage or their can-opener strats and had very little awareness of what was going on in the backline. There's also a moment around 11:14 where the submitter tunnel visions healing someone who's overextending, not utilising cover properly and is 100% screwed (the soldier). So as a result the Bap (who was much better positioned) dies, if they'd pocketed/kept the Bap up there they could've potentially had an easier time pushing that choke. Bap would've also gotten window faster and potentially flipped the whole fight (Valk + Window = stronk). The whole situation was caused by their tank being too aggro though, so it's all just an unfortunate series of events. This is all benefit of hindsight tho so take this opinion with a grain of salt.

So one thing i want to say, if all you play is mercy dont swap because someone tells you to. Just play mercy only swap if you want to swap yourself. Id much rather a mercy one trick stay on mercy than swap to something else they aren't comfortable on. I'm saying this because i see this player miss a TON of healing with Kiriko so it makes me think the tank told them to swap off mercy (they also swapped straight back to mercy for the rest of the match). Which if they did id be kinda confused to why because mercy pairs super well with Zarya, especially ones that maintain high charge. Your team as a whole is much better off with one tricks playing their one trick hero than them swapping to something they dont know how to use. Even if they get rolled because its not a map for that hero, they are still one of the better players of that hero in your rank. The only thing you can do is if your a flexible player then play around that person to bring out their strengths. (This part im talking about all heroes being one tricked, this part isn't aimed at the support in this game)

Healbotting as her, and to a tank, is just plainly wanting your team to have a difficult fight and basically 4v5ing everyone with major ult disadvantage for your DPS and your other support. If you are just gonna healbot, just play as Kiri, Ana or Bap, that will just force you to hit enemies instead and have a value to the team. In my games, she's the most picked for the OTP supports, and it is really frustrating that most of them does not trust other support and healbots the tank 24/7 than valuing damage boost and enabling DPS. I barely see a decent mercy that I play with even on Plat-Diamond ranks.

@@tinytina6056 There was an entire meta in GM where pocketting the Zarya with boost was more value than the DPS. Mercy pairs extremely well with Zarya. You're going to get more value out of your one tricks playing their one tricked hero. Everyone experiences one tricks you will never stop one tricking, the best thing you can do as a player is play around the one tricks when you get them. Mercy is the most one tricked hero in the game spread across all ranks. So you're not the only one that experiences it, in GM it's experienced all the time. Yes it sucks when both supports are one tricks but at the end of the day if you consider yourself a flexible player then you have to play around them. You listed the LEAST healbotty heroes in the support role lmao.. Ana, bap and Kiriko can do a ton of damage. They all have game changing abilities too used offensively. You're not special with finding one tricks, everyone does yet the ones that deserve to climb, they climb out their ranks. The reason you're in plat/diamond isn't because of bad supports or bad DPS. It's because of you, once you're able to pinpoint what you are doing wrong and improve on it. You'll climb out. The first step is blaming yourself and nit picking on your own gameplay, not your 'healbotting' mercy.

I’ve had dps and tanks just run up mid/main solo vs a team then cry they died and didn’t get healed. Some games they even do it one at a time because they’re all out of sync, like they’re on an assembly line to die. Had one DPS say healing was trash when THEY were always out of position out of any healing range or los. I told him to look in the mirror for some self reflection and they thought they were clever with the retort “you’ll be looking at the inside of the respawn room” … when they had the most deaths at 8 and I had 4. “You literally lived there dude”

comment 3: overall, i completely disagree with emongg on this one. while i do think he was right that this person was not The Problem, the sole reason why the team lost the game, I think this player has multiple fundamental problems and misunderstandings re: their role, especially on Mercy, and until they begin to address those issues, I don't think they will get very far out of bronze, if they get out at all. thankfully, their issues are incredibly fixable and can be addressed immediately! to me, their biggest barrier is that, when they play Mercy, they have so much downtime. there are so many moments throughout the game where they are contributing nothing. they do not seem to be putting a lot of conscious thought into what beam they're using and who they're beaming. it seems more like they're just reacting instead of making proactive decisions and making proactive plays, like damage boosting particular abilities or ults. yes, this is very specific stuff, but that's Mercy. Mercy is all about constant decision making, she's all about constantly making tiny decisions every single second. so far, this player does not seem to be engaging in this sort of decision making. they have some good moments! if they approach Mercy the same way they approach Kiriko, they will be way more successful. but right now, their team is fighting a 4.5v5 a lot of the time due to the fact they are missing so many easy opportunities to contribute.

@@patroclusOWyes, those are very good points!! tbh I didn't focus TOO much on their movement because to me their other issues were more important (? if that's the right word), but you're absolutely right that movement is integral to Mercy and they would see a lot more success if they used that strength of the hero!

I ABSOLUTELY AGREE WITH THE 4.5v5 LMAOOO I am new to the game, >200h in the game (like 70h in QP and 55h in competitive). I got into comp actively around s5 (but not as active as my friends who are already in Diamond and they are also new players). Landed gold 3 at first, and my peak is plat 4. Able to play with plat 2-diamond 3 lobbies as Kiri, Bap and Mercy. Being valuable as Mercy is harder than playing her, and playing WITH a healbot Mercy with a ??? DPS just making things difficult for the other support to have an ult. Like, so, you have 13K heals and a main healer hero has 7K, you are stealing their heals and ult charge too.

someone asked in chat why they kept throwing kunais at the rammatra - if the ram keeps coming after you on kiri in nemesis form, you actually do melt him if you can hit your headshots. ofc this kiri didn't, but generally they're easy enough to hit to where it's worth trying

their mechanics might be okay, but the amount of downtime and how reluctant they are to support aggressive plays is what is holding them back. they won't climb until they start proactively contributing to the team fights. their Kiriko is much better. once they apply the same concept of balancing healing and damage and knowing when to do damage instead of healing as Kiriko to Mercy (but damage boost instead of damage, of course), they will start to climb. but right now, they're not contributing value as Mercy. they're not damage boosting at impactful moments. they have so much beam downtime. they have a healer mindset. these are major problems which are keeping them in bronze. however, the good news is that these are very very fixable issues that they can begin to address IMMEDIATELY. these are not insurmountable problems at all. however, they won't be climbing unless they begin to fix these mistakes.
@remalythvo7209
@remalythvo7209 Год назад
I mean my main point was that I don't think they should be in bronze 5, at the literal bottom of the barrel. I'm not saying they'd be in Diamond or master's but I'm also not saying they should be stuck at the literal bottom, based on their mechanics alone.

What's even the point of spectating mercy gameplay? She holds damage and healing beam on her teammates, hope they do something and then occasionally flies around the place to not die. Mercy is literally just spectating mode. She doesn't do anything except watch other people do things.

just because you fail to understand why some people like Mercy doesn't mean your opinion is correct. you don't have to like playing Mercy or watching Mercy gameplay, no one is saying you do. but part of being a person living among other human beings is learning that shitting on something other people like just because you don't get it isn't a healthy way to interact with others.
