you know, this could work in HSR there's basically a god that lives to see all sorts of mishaps happen and then laugh at it and its followers are just the same, deciding that life is worth living so you can entertain yourself Shaco could be in the same vein of Fiddlesticks and Nocturne, where the former is the incarnation of fear, and the latter darkness, Shaco would be of fun, or chaos/entropy he would have powers similar to Bard, but to a smaller level, being able to travel all around Runeterra, just to see what's happening, and get amusement out of it hell, why not make him the antithesis of Bard? if Bard lives to keep the world from collapsing, Shaco lives to ruin it, because why not? think Loki but on drugs
he already has the means to it: his Q is basically his travel method, but downscaled his W would be one of his ways to bring chaos, with inconspicuous toy boxes that trigger horrible effects his E is another approach to being the embodiment of entropy and finally his R is just how prevalent his presence is -- I'd say he could use MORE clones just for the sake of this

The Arcane guys looking as creaky as most of them do when they're the most obvious poster children for people outside League circles to come looking for is just freaking surreal to me.
For singed, in my imagination, I like to think having him in some type of high tech wheel chair of some sort could let him zoom around the rift poisoning people while still being an old frail evil scientist.
But Singed in non-Arcane lore ie pretty capable of zooming around, bro's like 100-200 years old, and didn't waste a minute doing anything but research. Also, he carried all his subjects to his labs himself, and some were quite beefy bois.

As someone who greatly enjoys some Singed Gaming(tm), Singed is right there with Rammus where him being so outdated adds to his charm. Singed imo is at his best when he's a joke character and what better joke is there than baiting the player into thinking they're getting a sadistic yet complex mad scientist then giving them a goober.
blitzcrank is the only melee "tank" champion to use mana scalings 😭 also his model is from 2008 and abilities stayed the same, on top of that his lore is non existing
also one of the very few champs to get a movement speed ability that punishes you by slowing you after the use it done, while others just zoom away like Teemo, Rammus, Shyvanna, MF, Pyke just to name a few.
@@Franic19yeah, because he has the highest power budget basic ability in the game, and the w enables him to hit it easier. you could maybe rework it to be like a hexflash with the windup at the beginning, but that would telegraph the q way more and be a nerf
MF already has great concept art for an updated version of her base skin. People keep saying Captain MF but there’s a perfectly good concept they made for The Climb cinematic that’s just a pure upgrade to her base skin
I've been concepting a rework for Zyra where I use her old lore where she's basically a human corpse being puppeted by a plant thingymajig but make her Ixtali. Give her the look, effects, and tweak things here and there and Imo that's a pretty neat look.
@ubermaster134 as a Zyra main, no. I like her as is, and simply wish for her wild rift model to get ported to league of legends. It's already perfect with how the collar poofs out and gives her this actual wild appearance. People don't need to like every single champion in the game. Leave the stuff I like alone. I'm not demanding they change Draven when I'm not the one playing him to begin with, and never will. If we get a necromancer/undead female character that raises armies I'm cool with that as this own thing as I play necromancer in PoE, but Zyra doesn't need to be a corpse. Her wild rift design is already perfect and simply needs to get ported over to the PC client. I for one love Poison Ivy at home cause that's why I play her. I love her as is.
Fun fact: Leona's model on Base, Valkyrie and Defender skins are broken. And one of her eye disappears as soon as you play an animation. Also Valkyrie Leona's skirt is bugged and turns transparent if you go inside a bush.
I think we all need to take a quick look at Ekko’s ingame model lol. He looks worse than champs that are years older than him, having an extremely pixelated face, purple skin, crusty eyes, glued-down clothes, wonky arms, a crusty mohawk, etc etc. Compared to True Damage, he needs HELP
he also looks really outdated since after TD and arcane, riot tends to just model him with dreads so his Mohawk doesn’t reflect how he’s supposed to look like

About Singed: I don't remember where I saw it, but there was a guy an eternity ago that proposed that the game version of Singed could be his failed experiment clone, that looks like him but rejuvenated - and running everywhere. That could work.
I still dont understand why Riot never update Leona's splashart.... they have been doing that to others champs for whatnow? 8 years? I mean Swain got a new splash art and less than a year later he got a VGU.... IDK at least port the LoR art...

The only thing that makes sense to me for Singed is to continue his short story where there is a kind of parasite experiment that can control another body, That's what Singed could become to preserve its lore and its gameplay
Ngl, I LOVE Veigar’s model. The super clunky waddle and exaggerated movements really add to the charm of him just being a bingus who constantly fails at being evil

The suit like we know makes user superfast, more durable and strong, which perfectly fits his gameplay. Plus, in this version it would allow him to spread fumes of the toxin, which could stop Warwick from chasing him. He could be the Runeterran Lex Luthor, genius scientists using power armor to beat foes far stronger than him.
I'm convinced that Trundle is in desperate need of rework, he is a very unpopular right click machine that looks and plays terribly, also in some situations his ult is really unhealthy
as a shaco enjoyer, i dont know much about runeterras lore in its entirety, but i always thought it would be cool if they reworked him into being one of the like, one of the 10 primordial demons like fiddlesticks is lore wise, i just think it would be a nifty idea along with making his design feel more menacing or sinister. id also keep his boxes at least because i think his boxes are an annoying to fight against, fun to use part of his kit, kinda like teemo shrooms.

I truly belive that Azir should honestly get a CGU, his kit is soo hard to balance correctly, if gets any slight buffs he dominates pro play, but almost noone plays him, they keep nerfing him after tournaments, but his pick rate is soo low
Cho gath rework is such a scary thought to me. On one hand he has been in an awful state since mythics got removed and is incredibly visually outdated. On the other hand he is one of the last remaining battle tanks, they already removed maoikai as a battle tank and tbh i just have very little confidence they would do a good job, riot doesn't have a good track record with tanks in recent time, he would only need very tiny adjustments and they would totally go overboard.
I totally agree with the two highest tier and part of the third one, with the exception of Annie (and maybe Leona), because I don't see what's wrong with her. But the rest? I barely see anything wrong with the others. Also expecting them to ever use the LoR versions (or even acknowledging anything from that game, even if is way better than most of the stuff in LoL right now) is living in dream land, because that's how they work. 6:40 I still remember how they teased a Lulu model update and... that's it. We never saw it again. 10:35 He was top priority, but then Riot said "nah, his ult stays" and everyone went nope. 12:05 His clothing in that Wild Rift art looks very close to those used by the Crimson Circle cards in LoR, and I'm all in for using that version in LoL.
Shaco has some of the best design and identity in the game ... If we ignore lore. I think he should jusst become some kine or creepy pasta that feature in other chatacter's story

Just my thoughts on this: mostly agree with your list, but there are a few characters that, while they don't need a new model, could use better textures, like Kled, Karthus and maybe Nasus, also i'm cool with Rammus looking goofy, but a slightly better model and animation could help him
So i agree with most of these, but 3 I would argue with. Corki obviously got his mini rework, and I love the spot he is in now. He is alot closer to a skill based battle marksman, he just desperately needs a visual update. Chogath needs a visual update, but his kit is actually genuis. One of the few very skill expressive tanks while being easy to play at a base level for noobs. and olaf I think kit is perfect. Just dont touch him, it is very simple but is EXTREMELY skill expressive, knowing when to W, when to ult, when to pick up Q sounds easy but takes so much time to master. Great tierlist though.
I'm a Cho main and while yes he definitely needs a new model, I kind of like his current kit. You can build him as either a tank or what I do, full ap sudo assassin.
I think this every time people bring him up in videos like this. Yes, his model is outdated. But his kit is fantastic, barring his extremely mid passive. For some reason people always talk about him needing a full update but he just doesn't need to have his gameplay changed. Its stood the test of time, and remains good. I don't know why every time people talk about champs who need complete reworks, they mention him. Just an ASU. No VGU please.
Hot take: If all of the champions in the game got updated to the level of Lee Sin and Ahri in their asu's, I think Rammud should STAY the same, for memetic world-building reasons.
I think the thing I like about Zyra is her gameplay. It brings me back to the times where I'd stack a ungodly amount of traps in a bush with Jhin in ARAM and basically insta-kill whoever got stuck in there with my W......except it's a whole champion who is way older than Jhin, buy my point persists. It's just funny going full AP, placing a bunch of seeds in a bush, using Q to make them sprout and trapping the enemy with my E. Bonus points while using the dragon skin, cause I just really like the way her plants look in that one
They need to be careful with kindred in nocturne… kindred because they need to stay gameplay loyal while being thematically accurate, and nocturne because he can’t overlap with fiddlesticks
I like Zyra and know next to nothing about poison ivy. I found her story terrifying, but I liked the concept of her being able to bloom out of flowers and travel between them. I kind of liked her old passive more, but I'm sure they had their reasons to change it. I enjoyed her kit when I played her, and some of her skin concepts were cool. Like the dragon one and street demons.
A new model for Kassadin would also solve the gigantic problem that most of his skins suffer from, the fact that he doesn't have *_legs._* A third of his silhouette is doomed to be a geometric shape and nothing more.
I agree that Cho needs a visual update but i love his gameplay. The other i don't get is nocturn i think he looks fine just update him slightly and his old skins, game play make him just a bit more scary like his ult could be more of a big deal other then he turns out the lights.
Shaco is probably my 2nd fav champ and 2nd most played behind Briar and I would love if he got a rework. But the kinda rework I want for him is one that would make people who aren't playing shaco super annoyed. I want a rework that focuses on the chaos aspect of Shaco more than the poof stab ded aspect.
Idea for singe update:kinda do it like malzahar where he stores up chemicals either passively or after using other abilities and then you can activate it for as long as as you have chemicals built up/charges and using abilities while chemtrail is active just gives a little more time on the clock.
Hot take: LoR Vladimir is better than Wild Rift. In LoR he looks like an old man that makes himself appear young, or at peast tries to. Which is super unique, and thus very cool.
Either riot lied to Singed mains and he's the Arcane vgu which was announced at the start of the year. Or they've messed with Victor with his kinda cgu for absolutely nothing and he's getting the vgu
I think I would argue twitch needs to be in the cgu catagory, even as someone who mains him and loves how he plays currently. The fact that he never gets to have a viable ad build because people in umpaloompa low elo can't play against him hurts my soul. I would much rather riot nerf the extra range on his ult and rework the passive and w to be more in line with the concept riot originally planned for him which was a hyper carry based around auto attacks and stealth.
Hear me out, for shaco rework lore, he should be the demon of secrets... By staying the same as he is now, before you reply to this, hear me out 1) raum is the demon of secrets yes, BUT, what kind of demon of secrets that... We know what he is? Why do we know that he is the demon of secrets while he is one? Isn't that defeat the point itself? So some simple retcon could remove that from raum, make him shaco son or something 2) pyro from tf2, with pyro, there is very little about his character in text and such that we can search on, but we see much more of his character over his other appearances like in animation, and that is what i want with shaco, in text, we know absolutely nothing about him, but through other media, he will creep in once in a while to hint to his true nature 3) his role as a demon, secret is such a specific thing to be a title of a demon, depend on how riot made him to be, he could be even more interesting than fiddlesticks who is essentially a demon just to scare people, but secret is an aspect that can hold many thing with it that shaco can take advantage and be a part of 4) community, imagine how cool the fanbase around him would be if he is this truly cryptid monster who like fnaf lore reveal himself bit by bit and build up his fan from it Thanks for coming to my ted ex talk
If Riot has problem with champs like Skarner and Teemo (just ASU) and it takes them so long to update a single champ then the „3-5 years” should be 30-50 years
