Just bought bonnet gas struts for upgrade on bonnet. Bought them from a company in Germany. Awaiting for delivery. Also bought some silver Philips bulb replacements. 👍🏼
Not a critisism the wind deflectors look smart but be aware that they make an already wide A pillar more of a blind spot at junctions etc more caution required but you get used to them.
Smart wee cars these GTI's, and the VAG canbus systems are so fussy 🙈 my MK2 Leon throws up the bulb fault for my LEDs if the wind changes 😂 Great vid and channel mate 👍🏻
apparently you can get some canbus adapters that cancel out the hyper flash but they are nearly the same price as the bulbs and you have to chop the wiring to fit them :( hope get this little thing off the ground soon with a remap and a few other bits! Cheers, thanks for watching!
Nicely made video, good to see the process behind fitting the parts! How has the removal of the rear wiper been? My rear window tends to get pretty dirty when driving on wet/muddy roads.
Car gets cleaned weekly mate, really not as much of an issue as people make out 😂 I literally live in the middle on the countryside too and somehow survive 🤙🏼
@@matimcfetridge Once upon a time there were no starter motors,laminated glass,fuel pumps,rear defroster wires etc.But people managed to survive under so harch conditions and hoped that those things were to be invented in a future.
do you have a list of the mods done? also i opted for chinese h4 leds for the front, but had a few people tell me its a bit too bright, as for the indicators which osrams did you go for?
@@Smithiesta doesn't look like there is a fix apart from coding out mate, If I were to do it again I would probably just go for the Philips silver vision!
