Question: what is the 'pull out strength' of the No Lip Threaded Inserts ? You neglect to mention that most (if not all) of your stuff is 'designed' for 3/4 inch EMT (shims do not count). No love for 1/2 inch EMT ?

These ideas are awesome! Don't forget a drop or two of threadlock for the bolt in the star nut. It'll keep it from coming loose and possibly getting captured in the pipe.

That second one is a great find! Would be interested to see how the bending strength compares to the other flange solutions

Not a builder… home gardener Grannie. What kind of pipe end do I buy for the ceiling flange / no lip pipe insert example? I want to use EMT to frame a cattle panel for a fully above ground trellis in my driveway. Want vertical EMT sides connected to 2 x 8 ground boards. Plans call for male threaded pipe at top of vertical & horizontal with female elbows. In plans, the EMT slides over ground driven rebar, but I just have a driveway, so need a wood anchor. Also, should the bolt be longer maybe for my application? Trying to be a DIY-er… lol

Do you have any plans to offer threaded pipe inserts for 1/2" EMT conduit? Such an item would make it possible to turn 1/2" EMT conduit into rods for home physics/chemistry labs. Most the "bosshead" clamps one attaches to metal lab rods cannot open wide enough to accommodate 3/4" EMT conduit. Lab equipment costs can vary greatly by vendor, but conduit is still cheaper than lab rods sold on shAmazon.
