Doing laps in my living room and kitchen as I'm listening to this and I'm at 15,000 steps. Yay me! I've learned over time that I can't sit still. I walk around the house while watching TV, listening to music and playing on my phone. I even crochet while walking. It's routine now.

Hello, Dr. Diamonds!! Thank you for your help. I've been a subscriber over 3 years. I send your content to a dear friend of mine. I want her to live better than she did in her 30s to 40s. Next week is an exact year since my dad died. I think of my mother who is still alive. To some degrees, she continues the bad habits that I believe killed dad. I tried to help my family improve their respective health; but, was shunned away. This has motivated me in the last 3 to 5 years. I haven't drunk alcohol (since 2019). I stopped with stuff like candy, pastries and whatever else has over 10g of sugar. My eating lifestyle has mainly been meat, fruit. veggies and seeds. I weighed myself today (for my monthly weigh in). I am 146.8 pounds. I have lost 20.4 pounds in the last month. I am months away from realizing a dream. I haven't been 200 pounds since December 6, 2019. I have never been able to say that in my entire adulthood that I been under 200 pounds for five years (or more). Please continue making videos like these.

This video came at a holy time. I had a full blood panel and I am now pre-diabetic. It’s terrifying and people are downplaying it. My goal is to get myself out of this range and work on being healthier for my self and my children.

@@jamarjohnson1595 this is amazing to hear. I have been working out the last few months trying to incorporate movement everyday even on rest days. I will continue and hoping to develop a plan when I get my follow up appointment.

Hi doctor Mike. I found your channel recently and I really like what you’re doing . And I think you‘re one of the RU-vidrs I trust the most . I‘m 14 and I weighed a lot . So I decided to go on a diet . I lost 3kg in 1.5 weeks but suddenly I gained 2kg . I had a calorie deficit and don‘t know why I gained it back . So can anyone answer that? Is it because I didn‘t do intense Sport for some weeks and then did an intense basketball workout which caused some pain in my legs . But I hope you read this and answer it cause you are one of the RU-vidr I trust the most asking this .

Death is predesigned in each individual person. I know many healthy young people who’s lived a clean life and died of cancer and other illnesses. You can try to reduce the chances of dying early but it’s all about luck if you live a long life

L take. Yeah you can smoke every day and eat processed food and live to 100. You can also get in an accident on the way to the gym after you went to bed at 9:30 and woke at 6 when your on a strict 2500 calorie a day diet of whole food. But if I didn’t say anything about two people besides this stuff, everyone would guess that the latter dude would live longer.

Dr I've been following your recommendation and have lost 24lbs. I'm currently consuming 2300 cals but I'm struggling to get my fibre in I was thinking if you would make a video regarding fibre intake on a caloric deficit would be a good topic to discuss. You've been a major contributor to me sticking to this lifestyle and am looking to further increase my process thank you Dr. 🖤 Edit: I wrote this before watching the video and I'm sorry to hear about your mother and I pray she makes a recovery I've also sent this to my loved ones also again thank you Dr.

Oats are great for fiber. I have an oatmeal that consists of 80g of oats, 4 tbsp of 100% cocoa unsweetened, 2 scoops of whey isolate and 6 oz of milk. It’s delicious and packed with fiber from the oats and cocoa. Also add berries to get some more.
