I know the lore presents problems with this but I'd love to see more digimon outside of the 02 cast get specific armor evolutions. I could totally see Shoutmon using the Digi-Egg of miracles as another way of achieving OmniShoutmon

Once you guys get back up and running with the Fixing Armor Evolution videos, I think making fusions for Yolei and Cody (and possibly one’s for Kari, TK and Ken using their default champions in lieu of a second armor form) would be rad! I’d also love to see something similar for the remaining 7 Spirits of Digimon Frontier

I once got in my head that Knightmon was a Leomon evolution since they both have blue eyes and an heroic vibe, and it really feels like a hope armor evolution for him.

Weirdly, I don't consider Knightmon to be a potential armor Digivolution, but I can see why. Hey, no problem with having knightly heroes swearing by the sword to protect the Digital kingdom. It speaks to the Arthurian fan in me, and I love it so much.

Level/trade with no items/friendship/specific time-> regular digievolution Elemental stones->Armor evolution Trade with items->DNA evolution Regional variants-> slide evolution Megas-> warp evolution G-max-> Burst Mode Different forms-> mode change

Love what your doing with whatnot. It's always great seeing and being able to give back to world and people in need. I think a cool idea for the 02 movie that's coming out would be if each of the 02 kids (including Willice) would be if they shared their digi armors in the final fight so we could see all those armors getting an anime movie debut scene. I think it also would be cool if Tai at the end of the film gave Davis his goggles at the darkest hour. We know at some point Davis gave them back due to last evolution. Since Davis says in cross wars, "do you know what those goggles mean?" To Takeru. It would be a nice full circle passing of the torch recalling moment for him. Especially if this is the event that brings the digital world and human world.

2:50 I could only really see Lekismon working as an Armor of Friendship form for Willis' Lopmon, especially because the _ONLY_ armor form Lopmon ever got was Rabbitmon, which is Salamon's / Gatomon's Armor of Friendship form.

Lekismon as a lopmon armor works so well i think, yet another great video.... vid idea element changes, my fav custom art is still carrianmon the spooktober falcomon evo you did but having some thing loke a storm vers of garudamon would be cool or a fire zudomon would make great video and give you chance to fill in missing spots in evo lines haha

It was interesting per usual to go over your perceptions of certain Digimon which seem like they should be classified as a certain variation such as armor, and other, very similar looking Digivolution lines though for some reason aren't. In particular, I agree quite greatly with your choice of Knightmon, and am quite surprised that they haven't been incorporated as potential armor forms in any current media, since. In addition, Pandachimon, I agree, also works pretty well as a potential armor form, for Gatomon, at least in Adventure 02,'s context of Gatomon basically being treated as a rookie level Digimon. Also, utilizing Paledramon as an armor form is a concept that I haven't even originally considered, though am very much in favor of. With this, as always, I'm glad to have seen another of your videos, and wish the best to you and your associates, Karn!. So until next time, I'll be looking out for your next upload!

As weird as it sounds, I feel like Mimicmon could be a fun armor, just in a sort of "Digimental failed" idea. They go to Armor Digivolve, the Digimental either isnt at full power or is being used or something, and one way or another the armor shifts and "corrupts" as they evolve, turning into Mimicmon. It could be a fun Courage armor, as it's Flamethrower can connect to Agumon's flames and (in the sense of digivolution "failing") Skullgreymon, along with the Oblivion Bird, as they both have weapons.

A fun video topic indeed! Now this has probably been covered and I'm way late to the party, but who in fact is the digidestined attached to the crest of miracles? I know Davis and Veemon use it but since the other 02 kids don't have their own crests it doesn't totally feel right to say Davis gets one. I would have originally thought that Ken is the owner of that crest but he has his own in kindness. If this isn't already a video I would really like to know haha.

Besides Knightmon, my mind immediately went to Guardromon and GoldGuardromon when I read the title. There are so many missed opportunities with those. If I may add one I thought about for a long time, is Sinduramon. The reference book says that "its armor is the hardest among all Deva equipment", so clearly, being an Armor Digivolution wouldn't be that far-fetched. I just don't know what Crest would fit him, though. Great video as always

@@dualcaster No, the snake is Sandiramon, but Sinduramon is the rooster. The names are very similar, though, like Yokomon and Hyokomon. But you're right about Sandiramon, it could be a stage beyond Quetzalmon

As I stated in another Comment, the Lore of the Devas implies that they each *did* Evolve from one of the Three Armor-Level Digimon that they command as their Heralds. This means they've gone beyond Armor-Level, and are likely incapable of being Armor-Level Digimon themselves...

I totally agree. We definitely need more Knightmon variations, especially rookie, champion, and mega level. Example digivolution: Pagemon > Squiremon > Knightmon > Paladinmon/KingKnightmon/QueenKnightmon.

I actually also agree on the idea of Runnermon looking like a Friendship Armor of Herrismon. I even once made an edit to adjust the colors for the fun of it. And, now that you mention it, Knightmon does kinda look like it could be a Hope Armor for a Digimon. Maybe one of the PawnChessmon?

5:17, hard to say as the arms on the fish are a different colour to the body making the body look like an armour part which would make sense as it has the propellor attached to the back.

I always found it odd the digiegg of knowledge was earth themed when the tentomon line was always electric based. So karn's point about reliability and friendship both being ice/water in origin multiplies this slight annoyance for me even more

I LOVE Butenmon as an armor fusion akin to Saggitarimon for Hawkmon's armor forms! Also, you mentioning Frozomon, I feel like he would work similarly well for a fusion between Armadillomon's two armors! I know it looses the bug elements integral to Digmon, but there's a link to Digmon's drill elements being another sort of construction-based Digimon (granted Frozomon is more of a rescue machine than a construction machine but still, snow blower, drill, close enough lol). Maybe I'm stretching a bit and there are probably other more fitting options (idk, gusokumon?) but I just think it's a cool option and would look cool alongside the other two.

A Runnermon alt with the digimental's colors definitely works a Raidramon/Lighdramon counterpart and while for plot reasons Omega Shoutmon would stay a warp evo, it really feels and looks like that Metal Greymon willed the digimental of Miracles to activate for it. It would have been cool to see Angemon or even Pegasusmon evovle into Knightmon, but with all that, the normal line, Goddramon, and Devimon being his version of Skull Knightmon, Patamon might be juggling too much for a Partner Digimon when we have 7 others despite being what he is.

For me Runnermon and Exermon are both friendship and knowledge armor evolutions of Pulsemon in my head canon, with Bulkmon being the standard evo.

Speaking of Lynxmon, this might be a good video idea maybe? "Digimon that share design elements/themes but somehow are not related" Because Lynxmon looks to me a lot more likely to be related to Elecmon than a lot of the evolutions it does get like Leomon. Tyranomon was probably the intended one at some point but the leap is very wild, so Lynxmon kinda feels like the more natural "right" evolution.

I think more so the issue with the Hope Armor Digivolution is that a lot of the seemed to be Ungulates. Though incidentally they can also be base off of Constellation. If you wanna stretch it, Knightmon could be based of Orion who is like a Hunter/Warrior. But its a advanced Yoga stretch. LOL

I would like to pose a theory as to why Knighmon has the Hope crest. Many Knights often the Knights Templar are historically depicted as having a Christian Cross on their shield. So the crest of hope is replacing that. With the Angeamon line representing religion, the Knights are devoted to the idea and use the iconography.

Yes! That hope crest on Knightmon has bugged me for years. But my headcanon (based on Rapidmon and GoldVdramon) is that fate armors are just golden versions of forms that the digimon was fated to have in another timeline. And my pick for Patamon + Digimental of Fate was 100% GoldKnightmon. No hesitation. (Reusing Rhinomon and them was such a lazy move anyway, right?)

It would be AMAZING, if they made a new Digimon series based of the Season 2 Digidestined’s kids, but 5 or 6 of them don’t have a partner, until a random Mega attacks stealing the digi eggs and the kids take 6 of them and they hatch releasing new Digimon who gave their eggs digicode to make them and now awaken to their true partners. And a twist would be that the Mega tryna steal them is a Digimon who made the eggs and is now the partner of a selfish grown human who wants the power of all the eggs.

There's alot I would love to see in digimon come to the different evolutions and the fusion in the Wars a combination of things could happen if applied right one thing I've always loved in digimon compared to pokemon is how they have multiple evolutions tht break off of just one digimon digimon has the capability to b just as loved as pokemon has been all these years

I always thought that Vitramon/Burninggreymon would work as a Courage armor evolution for Birdramon, Biyomon, Hawkmon or Falcomon. It’s the mix of armor and fire bird what makes it for me. Another option would be Mailbirdramon as a frienship armor for Biyomon.

You mentioning Knightmon having the Crest of Hope, and not having anything to do with Hope, brought to mind something that confused me, Mimi(who has the Crest of Sincerity)'s Palmon evolves into Rosemon as the Mega stage, who has the Crest of Light on a bead(?) at her neck, also MirageGaogamon has the Digital Hazard for some reason and I don't think it's ever explained. I'm also annoyed that Mimi and Yoshi both have Rosemon, with nothing to tell them apart, like Tai and Marcus do despite both having Agumon, I just feel like there shouldn't be repeats in partners(I know Willis and Henry both have Terriermon, but Willis also has a Lopmon).

I had thought about the ice element thing with the Digieggs but it made me think more about more element changes. To me I’d say Friendship could be mechanical Like MetalGarurumon, Reliability would be ice like Vikemon (or both ice and water since they are different states of the same thing), and replace the earth element with thunder for Knowledge. The Tentomon is the one with the most electric attacks and Frontier uses bugs for the thunder spirits.

Digimentals/Digieggs should have been called Spirits and Spirits should have been called Digimentals. Digimental of Ice sounds more natural than Spirit of Ice, Spirit of Friendship sounds more natural than Digimental of Friendship.

This is a great video, it is a bane to me. I’m firmly in the camp of Armor digimon should NOT be apart of digivolution lines. They should be separate. It’s one of things that make both less special, weaker as concepts. But great video none the less

Would be cool if you did a collab with Digimon Explained and/or Digiknow to analyze a *potential* relation between the Digimentals and the Legendary Warriors. Man, Armor Fusions would be crazy. Could be two Digimentals = Lv.5 and three Digimentals = MEGA, but that would make so many. 12345678 2345678 345678 45678 5678 678 78 =28 Then multiply that by the number of Digimon and remember that there are three more Digimentals, not counting the Darkness one. 12+345678 13+45678 Of course, new Armors might undermine the whole "ancient predessor to Digivolution" thing, even with the X-Evolutions. Maybe some kind of NEW Digimentals instead.

I think Manbomon actually does have armor. If you look closely, the color of it's main body and arms are different, it's main body is very shiny. I think it's covered by a full body armor shell, and it's arms and eyes are the only exposed part.

What if the legendary warrior spirits had spirits to represent emotions/virtues . Maybe nobility, anger, joy, curiosity, vanity, etc. curiosity would fit for the spirits of air as Zoe throughout frontier, was multiple times curious and open to trying the food of the digital world. Think about it. This could lead to alternate spirits that act as side kicks.

That's a neat idea. In games, the Digimental are so... useless? Or rather, they all have one straight use and that's it, you never touch them again. Would be awesome if, on top of the canon evolutions, acquiring the Digimental opened this massive batch of possible evolutions to many other digimon, bridging lines that would be a hassle to get to otherwise. It would give a cool sense of progression in the game on top of being visually and thematically satisfying.

I really do like this idea of adding on qualifiers to digimon like armor and so on. Digimon is all about being free and being weird and having such hard restrictions makes sense for the card game, but outside of that shouldn't be an issue. Also, HOW IS GUARDROMON GOLD NOT A GOLD ARMOR EVO?
