my problem with trying to do even half as well as these designers is I simply don't know what resources are available. There are sooooo many furnishings I don't know where to look. It's like building a house (in RL) and not knowing about levels, wheelbarrows, and buckets. Or all the different types of nails and screws that can be used in differing circumstances.

You should uh... You should put a little description on each one naming the location and the artist that created it cause ngl, the only one I actually recognized was humblemud. To be fair I'm horrendously poor and only own like three actual houses, but still...
I'll consider that for future videos! It would add a LOT of extra work on my end, but in the meantime, I'd be happy to share a porting script from my judging document if there was a specific player home that someone would like to check out for themselves - just post a timestamp and I'll dig up the artist name & script! As I mentioned in the video, the actual ESO homes themselves are not super relevant because the artists end up creating their own unique builds!
I have the Humlemud home. Maybe if I buy tons of furniture pscks I can turn it into something cool. I have tons of homes but the furniture is so expensive.

Your editing is crazy good seriously Also Housing should be the main aspect of the game to recruit new people to ESO imo, it really is the strong point of this mmo
I wish ESO would create a place/links where people could add their houses all over the world so we can travel and view them yeah... asking too much again!🤣🤣 (For consoles)
The MAIN reason I don't even attempt this is not the cost of in game currency. It is the storage space. How do they manage to store all the unused things?
@@ski364 lots of folks use storage coffers/chests. Some even get pretty crafty and make a “fake” guild full of alt accounts to have access to the 500 slot guild bank to use as storage, or they’ll store unused furnishings in storage homes (houses that they own that are solely used to keep furnishings in)

Awwe a cat is all you need lmao. I do know that a lot of super-talented decorators actually do commission work! If you pay them some gold and provide them with furnishings for the build, they can go ahead and decorate your home for you, provided they receive decorator permissions! Is there a way to exceed the 750 item limit on computer, I'm on console and constantly fight with this, how people build their own and not exceed 750 limit puzzles me. Nice vid by the way always cool to see peoples creativity
Some of these people should be working for Bethesda! i shouldnt have stopped playing for 3 years i might have enough gold to decorate my houses by now.
I know that in a lot of cases, players will effectively "wall-off" certain parts of their homes by cleverly placing certain furnishings in such a way that they block off doors or entire areas of a home. By reducing the amount of space that can be explored in a home, players are then able to decorate the smaller remaining area much more thoroughly.
I really like doing the housing and I'm not sure how I would stack up when it comes to like trying to get into competition I did a couple of just quick like walkthrough videos nothing professional nothing long-term or anything they should be on my RU-vid account here if you're interested in putting out some feedback maybe just give it a quick look and maybe tell me if I suck or not

These homes are so beautifu.but where are they? I dont even see one that looks remotely like anywhere in ESO. Or,can you tell me which houses they are so I could buy one to begin with? :} I wish we could resize things and terra form our places with land. Second Life does that.
@@Arttea So,if I wish to attempt any of this awesome stuff,I should get,..wait,..can you combine the furniture and save them?? I have been playing ESO since betas and had no clue this was possible. I guess I'll have to figure out how to do this. lol Thank you for showing these homes. Inspirational!
@@xScooterAZx Yeah! If you look up "ESO Cobbling" or "ESO Cobbles" on google you'll be able to find a lot of really helpful guides and examples (both written, and in video form) that demonstrate this practice!
