This is just mean spirited. You can criticize something, as I'm critizicing your video, but I don't think it's right to call something someone put effort into terrible, especially since they probably were younger while making this, or just wanted to create based on something they were passionate about. Additionally, these critiscms are not even constructive, they are simply making fun of something that had passion behind it. You have power as a creator, and I would recommend you use your power for good.

Not all of my criticisms were constructive as I was also just making jokes and whatnot, but I still think what I did in this video is justified, because it was just my opinion on what they made and publicly posted. I know this video could be seen as harsh to the creators of the maps, but I would hope that it's clear that anything I said wasn't personal to them at all, and I'd hope that we all can just laugh about it together, and maybe they could take what I said into account and build something better. I'm sure if one of the map creators watched this video, they'd be laughing too and looking back on those old maps they made and cracking some jokes. If it did really offend any of them then I am sorry; my intention was to make some entertaining content exploring these old maps that I believe are pretty bad, not to spread any hate
@@theghostofboxes2192 I could give a good similar example, MoistCritikal posts videos of him playing bad games on Steam. I'm sure whatever kid made those put a good amount of hours and effort into them, then Critikal goes to play and criticize them, mostly just cracking jokes and whatnot. I feel what I have done is similar, and both are justified
@@TotallyNotK0 Based on your responses, you seem like a very nice, reasonable person who just wants to create light jokes about these maps. I won't argue that this video is anything more than that. However, I fear that this video will create a fan-base that takes things too far, not understanding that you're just making light, un-personal jokes. Trying to emulate you but in meaner, more harmful ways. That is why ultimately I think it would be wise to refrain from calling the maps horrible, and making it more clear that what you are doing is not making fun of the creator. You are right there are many videos that are funny about making fun of bad games, but the difference is that the entertaining ones, while making jokes, also try pointing out some positives or make it clear that they aren't making fun of anyone involved in the creation of the map. I'm not trying to be overly sensitive, but this is the way I see it.
@@theghostofboxes2192 You're absolutely right. I will be sure to make an effort to highlight the positive aspects of the maps. I absolutely do not want to foster a hateful community like that, so yes I will be sure to make it clear and to not condone or accidentally promote any kind of behavior like that. I do see what you mean, and I've seen it happen before where a creator does something similar and ends up building a community of hateful people, and I don't want to be one of them, so I will fight against that to the best of my ability Also yes, my wording in the title is harsh, but you have to do a level of clickbaiting (not total clickbaiting, just a level of it) to get views on RU-vid. You need that interesting title, y'know? I will try to improve it nonetheless in the future to be less harsh, and I will add disclaimers in the videos to not send hate

@@TotallyNotK0 Yea, kinda. I remember someone had done the layouts of all 3 games with common fucking blocks and laps with levers you can see on the top of the building and I thought this was great
@@MrFoxANDnoobie Understandable lmao. Use ChrisTitusTech's Winutil to remove Edge, telemetry, and other useless stuff though. By October 2025 they're ending Windows 10 support, so you should look into Linux around then
As a person who has made multiple maps (never published) I can say it is very difficult to make one of these maps. It takes time procrastinate (even though I know how to make it and it even isn’t even that difficult to make)
@@kadenrobinson7067 all things considered it really wasn't that bad, it was just uploaded too soon I think, and was far from polished. Also the Freddy head at the entrance was extremely goofy. I still think it was bad but not like that bad
Bruh people spent time making these this is so messed up. Crazy to criticize maps like these when your commentary is way less well put together than these maps are.
@@wildcrochunter6724 Very sorry you feel that way, but I believe that if somebody posts something publicly on the internet that others reserve the right to give their opinions and criticize it, and I believe I've done so with this video. I retain my belief that these maps are pretty poor in quality (most either just didn't work or were several years old), however this video was made for entertainment purposes, not as a way to drum up and spread hate or bullying to the map creators (just want to make sure that's clear!). Just like your comment on this video, giving your criticism to my commentary and videos, yet you aren't here to bully, just to make your stance about what I'm doing, which you have the right to do . Nevertheless, I appreciate your comment, critical or not, and I will take it into account the next time I publish a video. Thanks
These maps wre actually pretty cool. I dont get it. Its clear that a lot of work was sput into it, and as a map creator myself they made good use of vanilla blocks.

p.s. for your first attempt building a fnaf map, you did a pretty good job. The papers scattered on the floor and the way you used maps on the walls (like the checkered pattern and even the black ones) were really creative. I hope you enjoyed my jokes about your map lol
and I'm really surprised that someone would make a video on my own map, i just posted it for fun but seeing someone actually post it on RU-vid is wild to me considering that 37 thousand people saw it.
