These Flights Were all Nightmares

These are some scary travel nightmares. In 2018, passengers endured an eight-hour flight with a screaming and unruly 3-year-old child. On a shaky flight in 2017, passengers grew even more panicked when the pilot reportedly asked them to pray when an engine failed. In 2019, an airline passenger fell asleep during a flight and woke up alone on a cold locked plane. Inside Edition Digital’s Andrea Swindall has more.

The way I see it, She's criminally neglegent and / or guilty of multiple counts of assult (because of the kids age) 'cause when the kid was unrestrained & running a muck, there would've been multiple times when unwanted body contact by the kid was inflicted on other passengers. That combined with the kids screaming put his and / or her lives or at least physical safety at risk because the chances of another passenger in that section of the plane totally snapping & acting out on 1 or both of them was drastically increased. That combined with evidence from another vid of an interview with this kid's mother being from an earlier incident with another of her sons, about same age, who was doing basically the same thing on another flight. That flight got returned to gate while still taxiing for take-off. Earlier evidence like that of this same thing occuring prooves criminal neglegence. Ideally she needs to be totally banned from flying for at least 20 years. You can find out her name on the inside edition clip with just that story in it's comment section. (18/Mar/2023-5:41am🇦🇺EST)

Fun Fact: Plane crash testing results showed that the people sitting at the far back usually survive plane crashes. Everyone in the First Class seats died instantly, while the center seats have some chance of survival, but the far back seats usually survived. This is because when the planes crashes, the front half of the plane breaks, putting most of the pressure on that point. The other half tends to receive significantly less pressure from the crash. It usually just flops down with safer landing.

I can sort of relate to the woman waking up on an empty plane. I had the same thing happened to me but instead of it being on a plane, it was on a school bus. Apparently I had fallen asleep on the bus on the way to school and no one bothered to wake me up, and apparently when the teacher asked my sisters where I was when they got to school, they told the teacher they didn't know even though they knew I had fallen asleep on the bus (tnx sisters lol). Luckily the bus driver heard me snoring when she got the bus back to her place and asked me if I wanted to go back to school or go home, so I chose to go home. I got a day off of school over it, so I was happy lol. I will say this tho: if I had fallen asleep and woke up on an empty plane not knowing what to do, I'd be quite scared.

I mean my flight was only over state and only took about an hour.. When I was stuck in japan on the runway just as an earthquake hit we sat in the plane for a total of 8 hours before they would allow us to take off. The airport was evacuated and they were afraid that the runway was damaged so people had to inspect it before we could take off. We were actually the next plane to take off, we were taxiing to the runway when the earthquake hit. After we finally took off on our way to Michigan is when the tsunami rolled in to land in Japan. I was also stranded on a tarmac for about 6 hours in Arizona, apparently lightning and sand storms can pop up anytime of the day there. The lightning storm came first and damaged something that caused all the lights to go out in the plane, then we had to wait for someone to come fix it, which basically took about 3 hours. Then we spent the next 3 waiting on the flights that were ahead of us, but also got delayed due to the storm, to take off, and when it was finally our turn, we had to go back to the gate to refuel and then rejoin the line lol. Now we were once again nearing take off at the 6th hour, when the pilot announced there was a sand storm outside 🙃...we eventually took off into the storm because apparently they can do that 🤷‍♀️ but it was the scariest and worst flight ever! We were waiting for a few hours (don’t remember how long we waited) then our flight came and we got on Board. We were alright until we were told that our flight was going to be even longer because they needed to get gas for the plane. Apparently because they fell for a scam that had something to do with one of there engines or something. Anyway the people and us were very restless and there was a super long line for the bathroom. Can we just acknowledge how unprofessional it is for a pilot to ask passengers to pray for their own safety 30,000 feet in the air, kind of messed up.

If you have a kid with behavioral problems that you can’t control, like if he’s got a particularly bratty form of ADHD, ASD, or some undiagnosed issue, don’t take him on a plane unless it’s absolutely necessary and/or ask the doc for some safe, calming meds for him.

How is it even legal to not allow someone to exit a plane if they want off?! To make them remain on board when they want off should be considered a hostage situation. I watched a news feed once where a school bus driver pulled over and refused to drive the kids home or let them off the bus when the parents came to get their kids (after frantically calling the school to find out why their kid wasn't dropped home), and all because she was angry at some of the kids behaviors. According to the school, that was their procedure: to pull over and to not let the kids off the bus until they complied. The poor kids were so scared, and many of them were screaming in panic and calling out to the parents for help. The parents even called the police when the driver wouldn't let them have their kids, and the police sided with the school!!!🤦‍♀️🙄😡😡😡
@SlaaneshM30
@SlaaneshM30 Год назад
Because getting of a airplane on a busy TARMAC is a little different than dropping kids off a school bus. Normally I'd say, use your brain, but that's simply not the case here. There is no brain power involved.

The kid screaming is bizarre. If I did that as a kid I would be held down with a sock taped over my mouth. It sounds horrible but there’s tons of escalating punishments that would happen prior to that as I worked my way up lol. Don’t know anyone in the family who wouldn’t restrain and cover the mouth of someone who did that. Hell, this kid pretty much gets a free pass from his parents to do whatever he likes whenever he likes. That’s not gonna go well as a teenager with power

Why didn't they turn the plane around and make the parents and troubling kid get off? Failure in parenting obviously. It's also illegal to keep passengers in an aircraft for that long. They're required to provide hotel rooms and a new flight.

I'm an airline, I can't imagine every telling passengers that our survival depends on them praying or even saying 'hopefully everything will turn out for the best'. 😂 All that does is create fear, and doesn't help at all. Especially in that situation, it was just a shaking engine, the plane can fly completely fine on the other one! It'd be uncomfortable to be shaken around but not dangerous. Hope that captain got some coaching on proper PAs after that.

They don't "lock" planes. She could have armed the slide, then opened the door. The airline wouldn't want the negative publicity of not checking the a/c after passengers deplaned. They'd let the slide issue "slide". She would pretty much know what to do if she read the emergency info card.
