Hey guys, I’m aware that there are TF2 and Portal cosmetics in Fall Guys. However, they were added before Epic Games bought the game and its developers, and the cosmetics haven’t been seen again since.
Quick note that epic does not hate steam or valve or anyone in it, they just refuse to give up 20-30% of the profit from their games Tim sweeney has said that he'd be glad to put fortnite on steam if it wasnt for said cut, and also has complimented valve in events like the steam deck launch etc

It’s because Disney is friends with epic they even bought 10% of epic and organisations like Star Wars and marvel that are on Disney are also fans of Fortnite expect to see more Disney characters like Brian griffin
I signed up for Fortnite surveys and in the last one i was asked if i knew and liked Left 4 Dead ,Portal and Alyx Vance, i think Epic has come around and is willing to collab with Valve now and it may take a few years but I'm not sure it's impossible. Also I'm really glad Epic didn't allow Nintendo to have their way and keep Samus to switch players.
I’d still like to see John Marston from Red Dead Redemption join the Fortnite battles. I think that would be cool! And while they’re at it, maybe add Doc and Marty from Back to the Future. Give them 3 styles, one for each movie. They could give Marty a hoverboard glider and Doc can get the DeLorean Time Machine as a glider. And for pickaxes Marty’s guitar that doubles as a back bling, and Griff’s baseball bat. You could have a flux capacitor, and Sports Almanac backbling as well. How awesome it would be to run around as Marty in a Clint Eastwood outfit. Edit: give Marty the “alright look emote” to distract enemies.
I love Nintendo, it is my favorite gaming company, but I feel like they need to be a lot less strict about their properties, I think it would help them get a lot more fans.
@CasualCat64 ofcourse. There are 7.9 billions people on earth and the ones with internet access drop that number down to 5.36 billion. You mean to tell me that of that remaining 5.36 billion that atleast 2 billion of those are Nintendo fans? You said "billions" as is plural so it must be atleast 2. Last time I checked the Switch has sold only 130 million copies and that's over 5 years so I don't know where those other 1.8 billion fans are coming from
I'm still hopeful for Samus. Nintendo characters hasn't been on the collab surveys in a long time but a TON of Nintendo characters were on the most recent one. Including Samus and Link

(Link was carrying a sniper of some kind in that one. and everyone kept making fun of him, calling him Zelda, just cuz he was a character in a game that was named after the Princess he always had to protect) 3:20 his emote should be a collab item we get every year or something. like the lightsabers.
and nowadays there's something about Epic and Valve. Epic wanted to be allies with Valve and make Fortnite official for Steam Deck however Valve ignored them
4:38 it's been "basically confirmed" that Nintendo wanted Samus to only be purchasable on the nintendo switch, and adding on to that they wanted it so you could not see the skin if you weren't playing on the switch, so if you joined anyone from any other platform they would just see you as the default character Interestingly enough there's an unused line of text in the files that suggests they might've thought about doing that, it was something along the lines of "This item is currently unavailable or exclusive to another platform"
Yeah but the biggest hypocrisy is Epic bending over for Sony exclusives. Perfect example Blue Kuno, cannot be obtained unless you played and won the PS5 exclusive cup. And there is no other way to obtain her.

They should have just given switch users a unique style for samus like how playstation got a unique style for kratos and xbox got a style for master chief
I mean... If Lego and Hasbro, one of the toughest rival companies ever, made a collaboration in the form of an Optimus Prime set, then the chance of Epic Games collabing with Valve isn't zero
Lego and Hasbro never really had that big of a rivalry, Hasbro just had a marketing deal with Kre-O (basically South Korean knockoff Lego) before the Lego colab.
@@slamdance7683 Hasbro didn't create Kre-O, they were made by South Korean based Oxford corporation (no relation to the university) who just used their pre-existing partnership with Hasbro to get things like Transformers and Trolls. Before the Kre-O license Hasbro and Lego never really crossed paths much as they rarely ever produced toys similar to one another.
This was an awesome video! As you said, never say never. It's not likely for any of these to happen, but we never thought Playstation and Xbox would allow crossplay ever, we shall just wait and see what ends up happening!
If it were to happen, a TF2 crossover would work really well with an entire 9 new skins all with blue and red variants, they would not have to change the art style of the characters too much, and a mannrobics emote would be cool too.
The only character from TF2 I could see being an issue in Fortnite is The Heavy. He's a big boy with a big hurtbox, and might end up being pay to lose.
after fortnite got Ash Williams i became a believer that literally anyone could come to this game, the rights to evil dead have been infamously hard to get a hold of (its also a somewhat obscure horror franchise so even more suprising)
Sucks TF2 probably won’t come to the game. I would love to play as Scout or Spy using Soldier’s shovel as a pickaxe. Especially since I created a TF2 creative map with some of the new items. But I can only dream, we can only dream
Honestly, I would never say never. A lot could happen in even the next 5 years that could bring these IPs to the game. Back in 2020 I thought Spider-Man would never come to the game but now 3 years later we have 6 different versions of Spider-Man with the potential for more in the future. Give it enough time & any collab has the potential to come to the game.
I remember the Spider-Man debate. People saying how Spider-Man wasn’t in the Marvel Battle Pass and never would be because of Sony and the heated debate between Epic and Sony on allowing crossplay. One thing they didn’t realize was Sony only owns the film rights, and not the character itself. It was all up to Marvel to allow Spider-Man in Fortnite, and they gave him the top spot in a future Battle Pass, which made sense.
@@princexxphoenixx9667don't count on it.... Disney after all is one of Epic's biggest contributors in regards to Fortnite, so I don't think Epic would want to upset them (if it's officially licensed, then they definitely will go for it)

nintendo pulled that shit with minecraft too. if u bought it on switch u could get a free mario mash-up pack (skins, texture pack and map) and none of them would work in cross-platform
5:27 One collab I'm was hoping especially during Ch3 S4 was Splatoon, considering the whole teasing that gold countered chrome and you could sink and swim in each, it just seemed like the perfect season for a collab (also the glob gun that was introduced that season feels straight out of the splatoon series.
As a avid fortnite player, If Epic wasn't being stupid they could have a ton more players from the Team Fortress 2 series just to at least try the game out and hell maybe even add some cool skins in
In the new fortnite season we've gotten snake, which isn't nintendo's (Im pretty sure), but metal gear was on nintendo hardware and in smash bros (and not even as a collab skin, like the streetfighter characters)
I love Fortnite, but I absolutely hate the Epic Games Store, it has done nothing but keep games from Steam which in my opinion will always be the superior game launcher on pc, I mean we literally haven't gotten any of the Kingdom Hearts games on Steam yet because Epic is holding them hostage, I can agree with Tim Sweeney a lot of the time, but not when it comes to his crappy storefront and the fact we will never see Chell or Heavy in Fortnite because of his and whoever elses unnecessary want to attempt to dominate the pc gaming scene is unbelievably lame
well i could honestly see Cod come to fortnite after xbox gets the rights to it microsoft and epic like to collab with each other and i dont think theyre gonna miss their opportunity to add some legends in the game, and with Valve, Valve has this unwritten rule where there cross over content I.E L4D, TF2, Half life, and PORTAL, they all have to be free to obtain Bill from L4D is in DBD but hes free and his cosmentics are free, L4D in Zombie army Are free dlc, Valve x Fall guys collab was free if you pre ordered, so epic would have to make all these skins just to be free and i dont think theyll do that and like you said earlier Epic hates Valve
@@optiTHOMAS Context: when smash 4 released, there was a lot of sus stuff made about Samus, and it still haunts the internet to this day. I don't want that to happen again, because knowing the fortnite community, it will.
I'm still pissed off at Nintendo about Samus not being in the game. A Metroid Dread outfit/style is what I wanted with the original outfit and the Zero Suit look.
Another potential reason Valve characters won't come to Fortnite is because Valve usually doesn't like companies making money off of their characters, for instance most L4D collabs are 100% free like in Dead By Daylight and Dying Light
Call of Duty is highly possible, since Microsoft owns Activision, and Microsoft has been doing a ton of collabs with Fortnite, like Halo, Gears, Doom, and ect. So Cod might be a thing down the line.

Also Mega Man (any incarnation) back when Mega City was a thing. ESPECIALLY since they're already on good terms with Capcom, considering the Street Fighter and Resident Evil skins. Classic Mega has perfect options for gliders and back blings. The Z-Saber would be an amazing pickaxe, as would the Longsword from Battle Network. Heck, X would be an amazing Battle Pass skin, should they get any of his armors as variants.
I would pay good money for a Chel skin since I’m a HUGE Portal fan. Imagine a Chel skin with a Wheatley or a companion cube back bling! They could even add the portal gun as a limited time item. Imagine all the maneuverability that would add to the game. Of course they would have to put limitations on it like putting a range limit on it or only having it work on certain surfaces. But I think it would be awesome and could rival the grappler as a traversal item. PLEASE Epic! I need this to happen!
And they could reskin the briefcase turrets they had that one season into the Portal turrets as another limited time item! There could even be a whole new creative map that is just solving puzzles in Aperture test rooms with the portal gun, almost like a new Portal game. Come on, Epic, this is gold!
