Annoyingly many Guinness world record have been beaten, for example the dark souls one has been beaten a few times one person being Zerolenny. But he refused to pay guiness and basically just told his fanbase "you know i did it"
If i remember correctly the Guinness book of records had a borderlands 2 world record that was blatantly cheating because he said yeah this is legit and they went ok

Nobody asked, but the Tetris one has already been beaten. I forget what the exact achievement was (I think something about getting the earliest kill-screen at the time, but I'm probably wrong), but he didn't get the highest score possible. Either way, multiple people have beaten him by now both score wise and for the kill-screen. Also Billy Mitchell is a compulsive liar who sues people to get his way.

However that’s only true because the developer, Yoshio Nakamoto said “nuh uh”, and there’s art of Other M in Dread a game that almost assuredly shouldn’t be canon but Nakamoto claimed is. Also because Zero Mission and Returns aren’t meant to retcons of 1&2, rather they are just “ad-ons” to the story adding in between missions that really don’t touch the canon of Metroid 1 and 2 all that much.

It was beaten a while ago by ZeroLenny. A lot of the “challenge” comes from having to design ways to get obscure controllers to work with the game. ZeroLenny’s record isn’t Guiness verified cuz apparently that costs a lot of money and is generally a scam.
I love how the guy who has the “biggest collection of video game memorabilia” is obviously just a Nintendo buff with the majority of his stuff coming from the NES/SNES/64, he’s not actually got a comprehensive video game merch collection. Granted Nintendo probably has more merch than any other games company, but i think if a rich guy purchased all the X box, PlayStation and modern Nintendo (post GameCube) merch they could find they could easily beat him.
Bearzly’s Dark Souls controller record has literally been beaten! ZeroLenny beat it a while ago, but he didn’t get it verified by Guiness becasue apparently Guiness records are a huge money-making scam.
To be fair, some of these records seem relatively easy to beat, but it's more a case of "Why would you spend all that time actually beating it when you could literally do anything else"
Zero Lenny literally set out to beat the dark souls controller record, and it's more about 'how many weird controllers can we use for dark souls?' than it is skill of dark souls.
Yeah that's 4 hours of breaks a day. I can see an hour or two, but four? Some people sleep less than that a day (light sleepers). I assume they allow you to build up your breaks to a certain point, so a light sleeper would literally be getting their normal amount of sleep or in some cases more than what they normally sleep. What a joke.
