Congratulations on your successful sales. Amazing. I think, one of the reasons you do so well besides being great pickers,,,is because you are so loved that people want to shop with you ... I know I was very excited when I got my first purchase and I am 77...I need things to be on their way out but I like to give gifts. If you remember the African animal towels they went to my grandson for his apt in Montreal where he attends McGill University. He is finished for the year now and is home to us in BC Canada for the summer. I still think you are utubes "sweethearts". Be well!

You both need to get 365 UV flashlights. A lot of the vintage and antique glass contain Uranium, Manganese (glows yellow) and some clear leaded glass, American Brilliant Cut Glass produced before 1930 along with Lalique produced prior to 1945 will also produce a glow. Also, there are a lot of swung glass vases that are selling at prices that are out of this world right now along with Pyrex bowls and baking dishes.

Just a tip...I usedto work for COACH and if an item has little Cs on it like the wallet you sold they are made for coach outlets and if they have big Cs those are made for full price retail!!! They are both real but there is a difference in price jsyk!!!

Kayla my son has a store. It’s called The Top Shelf. We just listed a 1959 patent pending Bubble Cut Barbie strawberry hair. We did a lot of research. We are asking $850 for it with her own Barbie case and Barbie clothes with hangers. You have been our inspiration! I watch you and Matt’s videos for new information. I’m so excited that you guys are learning more about vintage/antique glass!! It definitely takes time to learn about it and a pain to ship but once you know, it’s so profitable:) it’s hard not to yell when watching your videos and saying “get that piece of glass!” lol 😂 but it’s all in the learning process!! Also I must add, Matt’s intensity vibe on this video is contagious! When I was going to Uni, a neighbor that we hardly knew came over and wanted to know if they could join the yard sale that we were having. (against better judgement we agreed) She brought over far more than we ever anticipated & then conveniently disappeared . In that heap was an old lamp. A lady and a guy stopped and they bought the lamp. About an hour later they came back and brought the lamp to show us that someone had hidden their stash of weed in the bottom :O Oh my gosh how embarrassed we were and the neighbor acted as if it was no thing. Imagine if they had called the cops! So, when I think about garage sales my mind goes right to that day. :) Careful when buying lamps, or maybe not. haha.

Straps on hockey jerseys are called " fighting staps" used so your opponents can't pull your jersey over your head if you're involved in a fight. Those jerseys are considered Official Jerseys not necessarily game worn jerseys. They cost way more at the hockey pro shop than regular jerseys. They are much higher quality.

To add onto this, when looking at a hockey jersey and trying to figure out if it might be game worn, often times the teams equipment managers place tags on the inside that identifies the jersey.

The Imperial Glass Lion. This is a reproduction piece that was made from 1951-1970's when Imperial used the IG marking. The original patent date of this mold is also stamped on the top piece. If you see other listing marked as an antique that is not correct, but it is a vintage reproduction piece. Letter I over the Letter G 1951-1970s - Imperial's trademark used to identify re-issues and later items.

I was just going to say, you should pick up some glass and pottery guides... Fenton, Westmorland, Blenko, Northwood etc glass. Roseville, Hull, Shawnee, Brush McCoy, RedWing, Van Briggle, California USA etc pottery. I've seen you walk by so many of these pieces at estate sales. However, that said, you two have a real knack for picking!!!

Just an FYI, the opalescent hobnail bottle is Anchor Hocking for Wrisley. You can tell by the seams but ALSO by the stopper. When Fenton was making these bottles for Wrisley, they used a wooden stopper. AH later took over the making of the bottles for Wrisley and changed to the round glass one, like you have.
