The Hades ability wouldn’t let you quest right away because you’re not shifting him, you’re banishing him and playing a new character for free with the same name.
i like the medal for late game lore. i can leave them stacked up, then banish X to gain 2X lore, + dime. however, i do suspect it'll end up just being hiram draw fodder. also, i think sugar rush speedway is prettyyyy good. we just have to get creative with location synergy-- snuggly duckling, john silver, moana. i'm not 100% but it seems like it could be deece.
Looking forward to building an Amber Ruby Princess deck with Vanelope support, Raya (the two good versions) to deal damage, Moana to ready characters, and "on your feet, now" to cause damage to your whole team after questing and giving a boost to Raya before letting them all ready for a third time in one turn, which sounds great
The D23 cards were made more D23 Expo which takes place between the 9th-11th of August but this year they decided not to make the promos only exclusive to the event :)
That Genie looks so tempting. You can play it in Sapphire to get it on the board earlier + you have shenanigans to exert it without questing in amethyst (like that "binding contract" item) I also like the Prince Philipp. I wanna make all of them work somehow! Keep the noise down!
First I thought Amber Grumpy does help, but he does not. Maybe you can get Snow White out on Turn 4 with chef, so on the play you could have some more questing opportunities.
@@TonesBalonesthat would be a super interesting choice! The line of play with just in time. Was also thinking of trying Grand Duke with Steelsong. Would make Ariel Spectacular Singer unbrawlable and Ariel Sonic Warrior immune to Madam Medusa.
Sugar Rush Speedway could be cool with cards that themself want to be at a location as you can move any number of your characters here for free. Also if you have 2 of them you can build a loop if some card has an effect that is not limited to once per turn.
I like the idea of T1 Cindy T2 sing when will my life begin - it is better to keep in hand than raging fire which is often only ink in the beginning… but we will see :) Also Mulan only has the ability on exert and not when played (which would be so much cooler)
It would be dope if after all the cards were revealed to do a video about your perceived most significant cards from the set. Something that could help as a buylist 🤙
Does Doc require you to have at least one card in your hand to discard? Otherwise it does seem like a pretty strong card to me personally, as you said.
cant quest the turn you play genie with hades, it doesnt shift it just banishes the old one and lets you play the new one for free - it still has to dry
KEEP THE NOISE DOWN! I think overall this set is looking weak. However I play for fun! And the seven dwarves and Snow White looks like a good addition to the previous builds. And the random fun elements are here too. The medal that gains lore is probably THE BEST card in the set . How many cards straight up give you lore when you play them? Not many. And this isn’t as good as some of them. However, as we reer closer to control builds, an item deck with Ariel that can go off and gain 6+ lore a turn, or a item recursion deck that uses the medal to slowly gain lore while maintaining board control… there’s a few options for sure and this trinket screams at me for best in the set moving forward.
