What a cool set of key caps. Too bad it’s out of my price range at the moment! Thanks for making these videos so that poor souls like me can hear what these things sound like
Hi Gandalf! I'd check out the neo65 which is around the 100 dollar mark. I've also heard abiut the lucky65 which is supposed to be good. I haven't had a chance to review it since I've been busy but def watch other reviewers videos on them
@@SimulatorTech I've watched reviews about the lucky65 and it seems great but the only "problem" are the plate mounted stabalizers. I have thought about if you could replace the pcb with a screw in stabs supported pcb but I have no clue if that is possible. The neo65 seems to be around 120-140 USD without taxes and shipping (in europe where I live), and that seems a bit much as it can possibly go close to almost 200 USD.
Oh I didn't think about location. I'm not sure what's available in Europe but definitely check the prices of local vendors so you don't have to mess with shipping
@@SimulatorTech Yeah its going to be a bit expensive for me :(. Nevertheless, I found out that the lucky65 is going to sell on the weekend on monacokeys but I'm not sure if I am going to wait months for the board or not. I also checked on the AL66 and now I am thinking if I should buy it instead.
The al66 is a great board if you're willing to deal with the fact that it's foam reliant. Also I'm not sure if they sell it barebones but they should I think
For sure. I think the qk65v2 is a bit clackier and generally does better without foam compared to the qk65. Can't say ab feel since i haven't actually typed on an og qk65
I was going to buy it since I want to sell my Zoom75, because it was way to expensive and I might even sell it for the purchase price I bought it for. I also found a good deal for a qk65 but it was an ISO board and I wanted to get an ANSI board. Eitherway, do you know where you can buy a qk65 pcb?
