Great reaction, as always! My turn came around when in college when I put it together that my best friend didn't actually fall down the stairs. I ended up changing the line to "you hit her; I hit you."
Aria C, very good reaction. Your "I am your father" impersonation, was perfect. I have yet to watch your reactions to The Pacific, which is a very good and very harrowing series to watch. I think it's great that you watch some comedy movies in between. So here is a list of comedy movie suggestions I have for you, that I think you will enjoy. Bringing Up Baby(1938), The Odd Couple (1968), Tootsie (1982), The Blues Brothers (1980), Beverly Hills Cop (1984), Arthur (1981), Barefoot in the Park (1967), The Birdcage (1996), Foul Play (1980), and The Pink Panther (1963). I know that's a lot of movies, and I hope your good with watching considerably older movies. I would not suggest these to you, if I didn't think you would enjoy them. Keep the reactions coming, Aria!
"THERE IS NO BATHROOM!" 🤣 Humor aside, the ending is a happy one. I think he finally stopped being a cop to be a teacher, with a woman he loves 😊 If Dominic deserves a Father, it's John Kimble.
Two years prior to Kindergarten Cop, the movie 'Twins' would be Arnold's first comedy role with Danny Devito (1988) Prior to Twins release many were skeptical how Arnold would act in a comedic role knowing he was only known for serious roles at the time. In the end, Twins was a box office success grossing over $200 million dollars at the box office and opening more comedy roles for Arnold; Kindergarten Cop would be one. Not sure if you saw how Arnold used a reference from The Terminator at the end of Kindergarten Cop telling the kids 'I'm back'. In Twins, he says "I'll be back" making the movie more entertaining than it already was.
Nice reaction! If you liked Arnold Schwarzenegger in this movie, you will love him in "True Lies". Another very underrated comedy is "Take him to the Greek", and I really think you might like it, especially, because it is a satire about the music industry and rock musicians. I have a good feeling that these movies would entertain you very well! Best regards, and have a great week!
Zack's mother's reaction is pretty typical. She has been conditioned to believe that there's no escape, therefore the only way to protect herself and her son is to appease the father. She actually _is_ taking her son's side the best way she knows how: by trying not to do anything that will provoke the dad.
Aria, it's sometimes an interesting yet tragic dynamic that happens between an abusive parent and their wife or husband, like with the characters of Zach and his parents. The other parent, unless they are abusive as well, is often so afraid of the abuser that they feel they have to lie for them or face even more abuse.
1. "Mr. Morbid" is stealing the show early on. 2. Fun. This movie is perfect for the "Kids say the darndest things" trope. 3. A childhood friend of mine had a ferret. He was an asshole. (the ferret not the kid) 4. I KNEW you'd like this.😁
Arnold Schwarzenegger fought the bad guys in many movies. The toughest ones were 5 year olds! He is great in everything he starred in. This one is highly recommend!
I understand your concerns about Zach. The reason his mother seems to be making excuses for and protecting the father is probably because she's being abused as well. It's an unfortunate fact that abusive people tend to be abusive to all of the people that they should love. It's another sad fact that people who are abused tend to stay in the relationship even though they should leave because the abuse started as emotional and psychological abuse and by the time the abuse turns physical they have been emotionally conditioned to believe that they don't deserve anything better.
A ferret that never bites? I owned one. When it bit the tip of my finger I had to walk around with it hanging from my finger until it decided to let go. If I pulled on it it bit down harder, so I just had to live with it and hope he got tired of me. Sometimes it would be a few hours!
Hi Aria. I really enjoyed your reaction to Arnold's movie kindergarten Cop. I wish he was my kindergarten teacher. I love his lines there is no bathroom take your toy back to the carpet bring it back to the carpet. When it's time to pass the task kindergarten is the best !! I hope you watch More of Arnold's movies.
Comedy movies to watch (set during the Pacific war), so it may take some sting out of the Pacific. Operation Petticoat and Father Goose (sort of romance comedies) and 1941 (slapstick). Also Bringing Up Baby and His Girl Friday are extremely funny, but also much older (black and white films).
Arnold admired the director Ivan Reitman and asked to be in some of his films even when they weren't sure it would work, but he turned out to be really good in this era of action/comedies.
Wonderful reaction. 😊 Arnold can go from serious to comedic and loving in a single film. He's a better actorvthan a lit of might realize? Plus it's a happy ending, but because the child actors are so sincerely good, a lot of their dialogues weecactually improvised, so that the happy ending feels more real imo.
Highly recommend following comedies from the 80’s, Weekend At Bernies (Andrew McCarthy) The Great Outdoors (John Candy, Dan Ackroyd) See No Evil Hear No Evil Gene Wilder, Richard Pryor) Fletch (Chevy Chase) Ferris Buellers Day Off (Matthew Broderick) Just a few to think about 😊
Some other great comedies: Throw Momma From the Train City Slickers Stir Crazy The Survivors Planes trains and automobiles Midnight Run The End Nothing to Lose Scrooged A Shot in the Dark Wedding planners Without a clue Her Alibi
Aria, for classic comedies of various genres and decades, I would suggest these quality popular titles as a start: "It Happened One Night" (the original Frank Capra directed version) "The Philadelphia Story" "Arsenic and Old Lace" (the original with Cary Grant) "His Girl Friday" (the original with Cary Grant) "Some Like It Hot" "The Apartment" Stanley Kubrick's "Dr. Strangelove" (with the great, versatile actor, Peter Sellers, in multiple roles) "Smokey and the Bandit" "9 to 5" "Tootsie" "This Is Spinal Tap" (a wild rock mockumentary) "Trading Places" "Stripes" (theatrical cut) "Beverly Hills Cop 1 and 2" "Big" (theatrical cut) "The 'Burbs" "Running Scared" "Evil Dead 2" and "Army of Darkness" (theatrical cuts... AOD is the direct sequel to ED 2 and you don't have to see the first ED film since ED2 is a comedy remake) "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" "Back to School" "A Fish Called Wanda" "Midnight Run" "Three Amigos!" (watch the original classic "The Magnificent Seven" western first to understand what is being spoofed) "Fletch" and the sequel "Fletch Lives" "When Harry Met Sally" "Coming To America" (need to see "Trading Places" first for one of the big in-jokes to make sense) "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels" "Sleepless in Seattle" "A League of Their Own" "The Birdcage" "Four Weddings and a Funeral" "Strictly Ballroom" The Three Flavors Cornetto Trilogy (in this order: "Shaun of the Dead," "Hot Fuzz," and "The World's End")
@@ariachanson01 You're welcome, Aria. 😊 I really hope you enjoy them as much as I have over the years. Of course, this is by no means an exhaustive list, just a sampling. 😁 Jeez! I even forgot to list one of the most iconic comedies of the 80's by the director of "The Princess Bride" and "This Is Spinal Tap": "When Harry Met Sally." Rob Reiner ended up writing most of the dialog for the women characters and Nora Ephron wrote most of the dialog for the male characters. Actor and comedian Billy Crystal also did a lot of his own dialog right on the spot.
6:27 My goodness. Look how tall he is. Remember, now, in real life, Schwarz is 6'2" (1.88 meters) tall. That fact probably played no small part in the decision to cast him in this role, just because of the hilarity entailed in the imagery of a very _tall_ man dealing with very short children.
Trading Places is one of the greatest comedies of all time (imo), The Blues Brothers as well but i cant remember if you watched that already . If you are looking for feel good films ( also a mini comedy ) watch The Intouchables ( France 2011 ). I guarantee it will put a massive smile on your face, if not Ill give you a full refund 😎
Well, that's not true that Arnold didn't speak English much when they filmed Conan. He had meny roles before Conan with lots of lines, so it's not true. Another thing: that kid called Joseph who always brings up penises and vaginas: the extremely talented child actor who plays him is Miko Hughes, let me recommend two other films he had bigger role in: 1. Pet Sematary, 2. Mercury Rising
Hi Aria 😍🙂 Thanks for your choice 😉 Excellent performance.. I was so surprised but pleased to see you reacting to this! I knew you'd love it. It has many of Arnold's most quotable lines. I hope we'll also see you react to "Twins" soon. BTW Aria, you've been looking even more beautiful than usual lately! ❤
