I went and got my DOD ID Card just so I can get these. We got the 3 park pass. We are doing 4 nights at Royal Pacific so we can get the express passes . will come back in December for my birthday. It's such a great deal.
My husband has the 3 park freedom pass and I have the premiere AP for the perks like free parking, valet is amazing, and discounts on food and merchandise. Works out great
Just to piggy back off the commander, If you purchase your freedom passes through universal you’ll have to pay the sales tax. If you buy them from your base/post MWR travel office you won’t. You’ll just pay the flat rates.I just booked a 5 night 6 day vacation package through Universal and spent a little more than $3400 for a two room family suite at Aventure hotel. Still a great deal in my book. Love the channel, keep up the great work. From an old retired grunt.
@@fudge_factor the kids are super excited for universal the grandparents are excited to see the grand kids (both sets live in Florida) I’m dreading the 14.5 hour drive from Indianan lol! But it’s a rare vacation opportunity to spend a week with my kids before they start their summer schedule of band camps.
They do not. The discounts on tickets and hotels is significant though! If you want to get discounts in the parks with your freedom pass you could look at the Universal Visa card!
@@fudge_factor I didn’t realize you have to pay for the water park at sea world. It’s been a while I’ve been so I didn’t know they charge $60 for it now😕 I take it back😂 volcano bay is better and cheaper.
We have gotten the military pass every time, but don't live close enough to really consider going more than once a year. Is the military pass unlimited entrance throughout the year? If i remember right a few years ago it was a 2 park pass for like 3-4 days? is that still the case?
The freedom pass is unlimited, up until 20 December! There were some block out dates last year (during spring break), but Universal lifted all the block out dates for this year! Even if you only go for a couple days, the freedom pass pays for itself!
