This is one of the top prefab homes that I take seriously as a possible purchase. I love its look inside and out, and I can see myself retiring to something like this somewhere on a pretty and cozy piece of land. The only other thing I'd like to see Nestron build is a single or double car garage using the same smart technology and aesthetic.
*"Whoever is not investing now is missing a great opportunity." Imagine investing and receiving $14,300 profit in few days, Ms Kathy Sammy is definitely the best.🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸*
Two industries that have found a definite customer preference for a 'dry bath' are boat building and RV manufacturing. Floor plans and layouts are wrestled with by those builders so a shower - even a tiny one - can be physically separate from the toilet and sink area. So this C2 wet bath choice surprised me. Thanks again, Kerry.
Thank you Kerry for producing these videos I really like this tiny homes I know I’ll feel much safer in a tiny house than in a sprawling mansion. I do thing this one looked exactly like the rendering and I loved them both Thank you again you are the man
Very classy look. I like that they come completely furnished and the options for heating and cooling make a lot of sense and worth the extra $$. The two bedroom is great if one needs an office space too. Thanks for keeping us in the loop.
FINALLY! I’m really happy to see these multiple innovative prefab housing companies ramping up their production and proving themselves! I was tired of seeing “renderings” on websites. These Nestrons seem to be as affordable as wood and steel framed tiny homes on wheels, as well as shipping container tiny homes 🏠. If that’s actually the case I would definitely buy a few of these and place them in a tiny house park/village for investment purposes!
Hi Kerry. I’m in Bellingham Washington. My realtor keeps telling me that it’s just not possible to buy land and place a prefab home on it. She said I have to be super rich to be able to Pay for a project like that. I really would like to get at least an acre, place a affordable prefab (Preferably off grid) and start my own home stead. I do have a limited budget. Not sure if you even have time to comment on this but if you do I would really appreciate it.
The Nestron C2 looks good. Years ago, lived in a camper in the woods and loved it. The only downside was when it rained it was LOUD on the roof. So I strung a large angled tarp above the camper between 2 trees and that cured the noise problem. If there was a way to tell how well SOUND INSULATED FROM WEATHER these structures are it might be valuable to the desigmers and buyers.
Looks a little too much like a similarly priced travel trailer on the outside. AND not as nice as a similarly priced travel trailer on the inside. And speaking of monitoring the delivery of homes, it sure would be nice if there was at least one video of a boxabl home being delivered and set up. They must have built at least 100 by now. Where are they? In a parking lot next to the factory?
Great to see the real thing up clos(er). Thanks, Kerry. Hey, I keep getting messages that say it's you with a special offer. I've been ignoring them as a non-Kerry bot. 🤷♂️
What particularly appealed to me are (1) the super strong metal frame... should be reliable for a long long time... (2) 2 bedrooms but on on floor. I could never do a ladder or tiny stairs (3) price. Many people could pay cash and have no monthly bill.
It would be informative to see an actual person (man) inside one of these to get a better sense of space. I can picture a woman of smaller stature living in one of these much easier than a 6Ft. Man.
I love the C2 model but being in the US with imperial system, if these things breaks down, it would be difficult to find parts. Also anyway of finding out what kind of customer services will we be getting, Kerry?
I would spend $120,000 for one with three or four bedrooms, a larger bathroom + a half bath and a slightly larger kitchen and living area. Can you buy two and link them?
Looks really mod … not my favorite layout. It reads as a modern trailer. I would need a larger sink in the kitchen and definitely a larger bathroom. I would love a soaking tub. You had me excited.
I didn't see a comfortable place to sit in the living area, unless that bench with the blue cushion is it. That's the disadvantage of having everything built in--the furniture is not going to be comfy.
Hi, Kerry. Thanks for doing all this research. Not sure how to best get a message to you, as I can't find a direct email address, but here goes. As an architect and general contractor, I'm interested in more of the infrastructure aspects of the buildings you're showing. For example, if you could expand on what it takes to connect (and what's needed for) utilities and the type of foundation (and if required), plus what are the HVAC options for each unit, I think we'd have a better idea of what's actually involved in dropping these units on a site. A $50K modular could escalate in price pretty quickly. Is off-grid really self-contained? Thanks again!
Very cool tiny house but seeing what it comes with, if the toilet breaks in this thing im pretty sure you CANT go to home depot and buy the same model!?
I love the concept and everything. but it will cost at least $120k just for it and to get it delivered. That's not including the foundation, water, power, etc.
I appreciate the look of this home, but I'm a little curious as to why heat and AC in the form of a mini split aren't included. I would NOT want to be in there on a hot day without it.
There are very differing climates and some only need ac and others heat and for most both. So there are more efficient ways to climate control depending on where you live.
@@backwardsrun I respectfully disagree with your reasoning. Climate control is an absolute must in Any location. If these are being sold as units for full time living then the builder should have incorporated some type of system especially at this price point and NOT as an Add on. Heat and AC are a necessity NOT a luxury especially when living in a box. Have you ever gone into a trailer during summer? Winter?
I suppose if you're already used to living in tiny spaces and a minimalist, these may work for you. I just don't get the dramatic downsizing to tiny sub 500sq' spaces. The only way that would be remotely tolerable would be with a larger outdoor living area where you could spend the majority of your time, and only go inside for sleeping, etc. The Nestron Cube 2 is only 26 sq meters, or 280 sq feet for a minimum of $59,000. Their Cube 2x is 377 sq feet and $120k+..still too tiny. The Legend 2 is about the same size as the Cube 2 and $73,600+. The Legend 2x is 33.4 sq meters or 360 sq feet for $88k+. I might consider this if you guys incorporate retractable tire/wheel wells and turn these into semi-submersible land/sea vehicles I could just drive into the water with. See ya guys.
Interesting home. Very futuristic in design. Thank you for the update on this manufacturer. As always, excellent presentation. Btw, how is your business doing!
Terry for those of us that watch your videos rather excessively - would it be ridiculous for me to ask you to change the art in your background… and your desk. It’s great- but…. Maybe mix it up? Thanks for all your info and for being a little funny
I don't necessarily like wet bathrooms I don't like the idea that my toilet my sink my lighting everything can get wet I would just prefer a separate that way I can still use the bathroom I can still wash my hands and I can still take a shower I also like to know if any of these futuristic homes wheelchair accessible simple as that
If you want a house in a reasonable amount of time, you'd think one would think just buy a pre existing home? Reasonable price?? that depends on what reasonable means to you.. a comfy roof over the head and some space can be achieved in a seaside shanty in newfoundland or an african straw hut.. Why not a tin-can hillbilly trailer?? there is nothing wrong with those and if you're handy you can make it nice on the inside. My old man started with a tiny oldskool tin trailer and eventually built a house-resembling attachment to it, that keeps the nice temperatures in and the bad ones out, old fashioned woodstove that probably needs cleaning right now and the home is constantly changing - havent seen it in4 years tbh
I’m not sure because of how quick the section of the video was, but is the bathroom a wet bath, like in a small RV? I noticed the drain in the floor at 6:55. I hope I’m wrong about this. In my opinion, that’s a dealbreaker.
Hello Kerry, Big fans of your videos. I appreciate them. Just a thought, can you do some videos on shipping container houses or maybe ten fold engineering homes? Thanks
Can you tell me what the latest information on these are and how they are being received I came across them last night On my first venture into tiny homes and very interesting
While I’m intrigued by this futuristic tiny home, unlike some of the more traditional looking ones, it REALLY lacks storage. Same for BOXABL. I LOVE the look and low to no carbon footprint. But for instance: imagine a family of 4 in this…. And you’ve got to wash the dinner dishes in that airplane head sized kitchen sink!! Frankly I’d be hard pressed for enough room to wash just MY dinner dishes. Yikes. Sure, there are built in drawers so ok you’ll have spaces for clothing… but not much more. So-you’ve got to have a shed or something to go with. And no shed you can buy quickly and set up on site is going to match the cool, Jetsons look of the home. Just my humble opinion. Maybe they’ll sell one as an upgrade someday….🤔
I like the C2 BUT, where do you put your towel in the bathroom without getting it wet? You would need to make sure that the water supply to the bath was filtered because the whole room would get wet and there would be water spots everywhere when it is dry. There could be some kind of product you could coat the bathroom with so it would not spot. Also, is the bathroom going to fog up the mirror when you are shaving. The beds would be hard to make because they are against the wall. I don't see a lot of closet space. I would go for a one bedroom with a larger bedroom, bath and living space. All you need is: a piece of land, septic system, more solar panels, a well and Elon's battery system and starlink and your are off the grid. The price is great even with all the options. Terry you do a great job reporting on prefab homes and I enjoy watching your channel.
This is pretty thrilling. I love the look and even with heat and A/C it’s competitive in price with the “or similar”. We joke that when we rent a car; it’s almost always not what they list. It’s an “or similar.” I would be happy to live in this home and it could be possible as soon as a Boxable might be delivered? Thanks for sharing!
