After the reload passive was removed, giving characters like Reaper 20% more ammo was a huge game changer for me. He relies on life steal and tank shredding to function, it was what Reaper was missing.
I really like the passives, but the only thing I’d want to change is that Slayer helps further outline low health enemies while not behind walls. Idk if it’d be by making the enemy health bar flash or giving some unique “marked for death” icon, but it’d be really nice.
@BuffGenji that would absolutely make him unplayable. At least right now, you can kind of get value out of him if you play perfectly. With 225 he dies wayy too fast. Especially when you have characters like Mcree, soldier, ashe, torb, sym in the game. Those characters need very little mechanical skill, yet they can completely turn around a fight with a few clicks
I really hope they dont keep these passives. Im tired of every Blizzard solution being to either throw a million stats at something or give it a 19th new passive effect. Even if they decide to go super hard and personalize the passives to be unique for each hero, and allow everyone in the game to see which passive is chosen in the tab menu, I dont like the idea of just giving everyone the answer to their weakness, or making their strongpoint stronger.
Fair point, but for me personally genji has been kinda not enjoyable for awhile seeing frenzy passive with movement speeds makes me happy. Probably passives are not healthy for the games, but it was a nice change for genji (atleast slightly a bit)
@@hikuasian Trust me I'm with you, I'm a genji main by far but I've completely dropped this hero post S9. He was genuinely felt more impactful during GOATS, but Blizzard has removed his speed, removed NB, removed the assassinations, he just isn't fun anymore. I mean-- think of how often we get to ghost dash anymore But I'd rather him be unfun and have Blizzard make the actual game good than just throw things at walls at random and hope something sticks for him
