Cypher is an agent with an insane skill ceiling which people don't seem to understand. You not only need to know 10's of setups per site per map but also have the gamsense to realise when to use which setup as well as how to rotate or when to anchor. Its very similar for KJ but for her you don't need thaaaaat many setups
@@caspian-t Kinda but kinda not. You can play cypher in a team oriented playstyle or solo oriented team oriented is better if good teammates (never) but solo one works well enough in ranked

Kinda funny situation happened at 13:54 where nats was shooting the Kay/O bcs of the reveal but kills the omen instead making him think he killed Kay/O in which nats then walks out and dies to Kay/o bcs he didn't know anyone was there.
OG cypher mains would know that nAts included a similar top gen cage (and a second one with a crack to play around) in his ascent guide from last year iirc

nAts pioneer Cypher and Viper since 2020 when he was at team Gambit. Arguably the best team out all the top team before they were force to be disband due to unfortunate circumstances. 8:01 this setup was used since 2021 as well by nAts, this is more of keeping space and play with his trips and Anti strat. This setup was used before Masters Berlin. The old strat is to play behind dice with this setup.

what most people forget about cypher is that he is that currently (after skye has gotten nerfed), cypher is the most information gathering agent. and apart from that there are many other uses. on defense cypher is impossible to deal with, (i know cause i main cypher and i tell my team to 4 stack onesite and i hold the other), and on offense + retake cypher is just a monster, u can throw cages(just like raze nades, i also main raze ) and instantly activate them to isolate fights and create space, cam and check corners and cage and plant/defuse
Aw man I got here within the first hour and was excited to maybe get some valorant points. I’ve never spent money in val so it would been cool to get a skin. Love the vids keep up the great work!
