I haven't done maintenance on this mod in months, so I'm glad to see that everything still works (besides that one issue with the worms in Womb :p) While I'm here, though, here's a list of all the items and their references: - Sisyphus: The famous one, king of Ephyra. Tricked Thanatos and cheated death on multiple occasions, until Zeus killed him personally and tasked him with endlessly rolling a boulder up a hill as punishment for thinking that he was more clever than the gods. - Ixion: King of Lapiths. Killed his father-in-law on burning coals, and after Zeus tried to take pity on him and invited him to feast on Mt. Olympus, he tried to seduce Hera and was promptly smitten. His punishment is to be tied to a burning wheel, forever spinning in Tartarus. - Danaides: Fifty daughters of the King of Libya. They were each married to the 50 sons of the Aegyptus, King of Egypt, and 49 of them conspired to murder their husbands on their wedding night. Those 49 were punished with a task of filling a large jar with water using porous jars. - Tantalus: King of Phrygia. Murdered his son and offered him as a sacrifice to the gods when they came to visit his kingdom. His eternal punishment is to be eternally hungry and thirsty while being suspended in neck-high water that recedes when attempting to drink from it, as well as a fruit on a lofty branch that bends out of reach when he attempts to grasp for it. - Tityos: Giant son of Zeus and Elara. He was slain by Apollo and Artemis after he tried to force himself on their mother Leta. His punishment was to be chained to a rock while vultures ate his liver each day, which regrew each night (the same punishment as Prometheus!) - Salmoneus: King of Eleia. He was killed for his hubris after he commanded that his subjects worship him as highly as Zeus. His punishment is not known (apparently it was bad, though) - Arke: Sister of Iris, goddess of the rainbow. She allied with the giants during their uprising against Zeus. After the uprising, Arke had her wings removed and was cast into Tartarus. - Ocnus: Prince of Alba Longa. There is no surviving literature that explains what his actual crime was, but scholars guess that it's something to do with sloth or cowardice. His punishment is to endlessly weave a rope of straw as a donkey eats the other end of his handiwork. - Phlegyas: King of the Lapiths. Angry at Apollo, he torched the Apollonian temple at Delphi. Apollo cast him down to Tartarus for his crime, forever entombed in a rock in front of an eternal feast.
Not that bad on chest with d6 honestly, just bad for the starting room, and secret rooms without enemies. The only reason it truly sucked was because blind removed any need for a reroll unless it was an active item.
@@ethanharry2936 even more than that. Without blind, and enough luck, you have a reroll for every chest that spawns from room clear, and if a chest doesn't spawn, then you don't need the roll anyway
@@cobraattack23 true but still u can't roll devil's, secret rooms and most treasure rooms and the only use case other than chest will be boss room and angel room so not terrible but rigging potential is low
Lazy Mattman not going through the alt path door on the 5th floor to get 2 more planetariums instead of 1 (+ 1 additional shop) on the run that is fully based on planetariums is truly a mattman moment

For those curious, investments in an IRA are deducted from taxes when you invest into it and then taxed as income when you retire. Roth IRAs are taxed as income when you invest into them so you don’t pay taxes for withdrawing when you retire. The later you start saving for retirement, the more beneficial traditional IRAs are as you can save more money now and those investments will outgrow inflation and taxes usually.

To try to explain what happened at 19:31 I assume since they still take the damage dealt to them it’s just their health gets put to like infinity (or something like that) the item was still registering that the enemy took enough damage to have died and would spawn more (hence why the effect only happened while they were in their armor)

I think what happened with the dupped enemies was that the red item that has a 1/3 chance to respawn an enemy must calculate it out of the damage u HIT. Since those enemies are invincible when they're down and u would be one-shotting them, it must have bugged up and procked when it shouldn't
What's really funny is that I just had a class today on financial management and retirement funds. Didn't know I'd have a review session in a binding of issac video of all places.
Yoooo I think the moment at 19:34 happened because of the one item that makes enemies spawn again after dying. Maybe when that little worm dude (idk the name of it) goes back into itself, it counds as "dead" to the item, so the item spawned a new one. And they they multiplied by doing it over and over again, going in and out "dying" only to spawn more.
Nah but fr seeing battery in the shop and saying we dont have anything to roll and then casually going to roll the secret room is a real mattman moment
matt you technically can have inf infinite rerolls if you combine the charge planatarium item with school bag and the d7 plus the d6. one secret room with a spider and its an easy death certificate

IRAs and Roth IRAs are both individual retirement accounts or high yield savings accounts with withdrawal restrictions. A Roth IRA is taxed when you put money into it and an IRA is taxed when you take money out. They won’t necessarily be connected to the stock market but they can be and many investment companies have IRA’s with rates based on the stock market. Hope this helps someone!
This video focusing on planetariums must have caused some kind of cosmic shift in Isaac luck because today I ended up getting a 1% planetarium on a Laz run, and then on the following J&E run I got TWO 1% planetariums back to back in some kind of insane twist of fate. [Items were Pluto for the Laz run. Neptunus and Terra for the J&E Run] Not joking at all upon seeing the third planetarium I legit had to put down my Steam Deck for a second in shock it was insane. Wanted to comment this just to preserve this occurance. It'll probably be my luckiest Isaac moment in my mind until the day I find the Henry room on a run lol
I feel like the item that gives you a full charge after clearing the room would bei fun with a kong charge active item, like a everything jar or something in that direction.

That item that gives full charge sounds broken with anything that doesn't involve rerolls. Trinket per room with moms box, unstoppable health regen with satanic bible, basically a guarantee to get the 50 item drop from everything jar, lamegaton be giving every item in the game, tons of monsters from monster manual, etc. Basically, any active item that would be just as good at the end of a room as it would at the start of the room would go so hard, especially items with a 12 room charge.
