Ugh. The only reason for the gold cups is so the editors of the show can edit scenes out of order easier. With regular glasses, the audience can see if a drink that was nearly empty is magically back to full etc. It’s not to be standard or fancy 😂 Also, as a Brazilian, I can tell you that we make low key rude jokes all the time. The culture is not so hyper sensitive like the one in America.

at the risk of sounding a bit mean, alexandre is not a catch in brazil. some women might think so, but he definitely wouldn't be a guy that all women would be fawning over. about doing it on the honeymoon or not, culturally i feel like in the US people are a bit more, i don't wanna say prudish, but i feel like casual sex might be a bigger deal over there than it is here. like, "giving it up" on the first date is not such a big deal here, and it's definitely unusual for someone to feel atracted to their partner on this show and not consumating it. but of course, it's all up to her, might be because of the cameras and her daughter, but even if it isn't, it's totally her call obviously

Brazilian here! Brazil's sex culture is very extreme, so there is a lot of pressure about talking or having sex. Also, there is an absurd amount of beauty pressure here, so I feel for Ariela, on and off the show she must go through a lot.

Maybe you can watch in sub for your reactions, but for the clips in the video if there's really a specific part that should be dubbed, you could use that on your reaction video. I am unsure if it is an option you have consider. I am for subtitle for sure but I saw a few comments saying dubbed so they just run the video as background.
I think it's a cultural thing being so involved in other ppl business because the women and men there do form friendships while on the pods (either good or bad lol) and it's a common thing to be somehow connected and involved with your girls/buddies. You should watch the previous seasons and it's similar, also in Mexico (centre and south idk north) is kinda de same

I vote for watching the dubbed version of the show - most of the time I listen to you when I'm doing chores or in bed as my bedtime story and I'm not watching the screen so I have no idea what they're saying if it's not dubbed. But I understand you have Brazilian fans who enjoy the subtitles/original language, so I get it if you keep the subtitles. I think you're both just so delightful, by the way, and sensitive and thoughtful and fun.

Important observation at the bottom! I watch with audio version, which is definitely not ideal, doesn’t portray all the emotions, tone, voice scale. But being my ADHD self it’s great to have it as a background or be able to know what’s happening without paying 100% attention to the screen. But what I noticed with the lector (not sure if in English the voiceover is called a lector as well), there are two different female voices, one for all the ladies and different one for the only black female contestant. I don’t want to jump to any hasty conclusions, but it seems kinda weird. For the men there is only one voice as far as I noticed. What do you guys think?
I am just here for your guys;s commentary, lol. ❤ it is nice hearing how the contestants actually sound but I am personally watching it with subtitles but don't mind watching ya'll's video's without the subtitles. Gemini's honestly do this to themselves. The most hated of the zodiac is Scorpio and Gemini Suns and Renata is showing up in true Gemini Fashion and so was Harry Jowsey. Its not all Gemini's but its very large amount. You are more than your sun sign, however I find with Gemini's and Scorpio's they have to have really really good placements in the rest of their chart to really help with the negative aspects of their Sun signs. I love that Ashleigh is a Virgo, that analytical minded vibes come through, however Ash is very emotional which means you defs have some strong water placements to give Virgo some heart behind all that logic. Don't pay attention to the trolls in the comments but I am sure you already know that but working on self worth is key because you will have less anxiety around the dumb commentary.

I studied anthropology in undergrad and I wonder how much of the behavior of the people -is residing as negative and bullying and is actual the culture to be a bit more involved in folks lives l I know bullying is not a cool thing. But how we see something can be framed by our culture .

My girlfriend and I tried to watch this but you could tell much of the cast were told what to say by directors. It's very scripted and mostly by liberal, woke, feminists preaching and grand standing. It's nauseating. I just want equal treatment and kindness for all but instead we have to listen to the toxic feminists from Netflix. It's especially tough for me being raised by an abusive mother who is so toxic I haven't spoken to her it over 6 years. I'm envious of som of the guys on the show who had supposedly good moms. I'll never know jattjats like. My grandmother was always drunk or in fights and my mom was abusive and my dad was not much better as he enabled it. The show seems very fake. I would not recommend it.
