@@kemelanisbetchotoye it does! I personally don't like it, it's pretty strong, but it doesn't smell bad. A bit overwhelming when I used it the first times but I got used to it, I just stop breathing when I apply it 🤣
I bought the tarte double take eye liner on her recommendation specifically for the water line but it doesn’t last on me at all. Mind you I use black not nude.. nothing special it’s literally doesn’t last any longer than Annabelle from the drugstore 😕
Totally agree on the hourglass powders! I waited for YEARS to be able to afford it and choosing a palette that would be perfect for me and I finally got the jellyfish and it just changed my makeup game. Totally love it
In early 2000’s Sally Hansen had an air brush spray foundation that was AMAZING!! I never use to use drug store foundations back then but I was in a pinch once & since it was after 11pm the drug store was the only option but the makeup section was blocked off again because it was nighttime. The only makeup products not blocked off was an end cap of Sally Hansen makeup so having no other choice I bought the foundation & omg it was SO good!! I also used to swear by their air brush legs, I’m really short & I had never got compliments on my legs till I started using it. Literally gives your skin an air brushed look like a magazine cover or filter
Dior Airflash is one of the best foundation I ever tried, but I DO have something bad to say about it. It was the foundation that gave me the fewest uses before running out, while being the most expensive I ever bought. Fortunately, Mother Pat makes good sales, I got her foundation for $30 CAD and even though it's different, I find it just as good.
The first 6 motherships, and mothership 8 IMO are unbeatable, the fact that the blitz shades are dry makes them so versatile, and then we get the super creamy mattalics, the satins and the mattes which are also so super versitile. Its the only pallettes I have that can "do it all" - super glam, soft glam, sublt, grungy and editorial looks from the same palette ! 5 years and many indy & mainstream palettes later, mothersip is still my go to eyeshadow.
Completely agree with you on the Pat McGrath Motherships and CT setting spray. I wish CT would bring back the White Tea setting spray. It has such a light and pretty scent. I love the Victoria Beckham eye kajal liner. Expensive but you get a lot of product and it’s long wearing.
I like the Tower 28 mascara, too, but honestly I have a hard time seeing how it's different from Maybelline Lash Sensation! I feel like they're the same--same brush and everything.
I bought the same hour glass powder palette. It's so beautiful, love it. I'm actually wearing it all over my face. Even on my eyes 😊 Best investment I have made so far. Thank you for the holiday video showing how great they really are.
From what we can see, your beauty room looks amazing! I love the lip oil from Clarins, been using it for about 3 years, tried others but always come back to it! 💕
I love the Huda Cherry blossom powder. I have medium skin and it works great under my eyes where most pink powders don’t. I am keen to try the peach too, but the setting power of the huda is amazing
For me, it is my Givenchy Prisme Libre Loose Setting and Finishing Powder. I hve not found anything that is as blurring and smoothening underneath my eyes as this one.
Tower 28 concealer works so well for me. It’s very hydrating. I have super dry skin and I don’t reach for any other concealer anymore. It’s definitely my go to now.
As for PML Motherships, I find that when I want to be creative, but elegant, I will reach for these palettes. If I’m just having a colorful sparkle-fest, I will go for something else. Even the green-gold you used, I have a “dupe,” but it’s more “out there” and thick, and it has its own place. If only PML will find itself again.
To this day I have not done my make up without using my jellyfish palette finishing powders. So so good. The way it even helps creams blend together and just create a seamless base overall. One of my favorites!
Lancome Deficils mascara, doesn’t flake, makes my lashes visible. Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush, lasts all day. YSL Rouge Volupte Shine, so light, so moisturizing, so many bright colors. Lancôme Teint Idole all-in-one concealer, doesn’t settle into lines and lasts. Tatcha the Liquid Silk Canvas, just the best. Dior Backstage Warm Neutrals pallete, so good I purchased twice. Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer, really like the finish.
Agreed agreed on PML Subversive! It’s the best! Hourglass powders mwaah… Charlotte’s Spray keeps making goooing forever! Love the Givenchy powder…it’s magic, but then I have dry skin. Benefit mascaras forever. Shesheido or Tom Ford foundation. The BIGGEST game changer for my make up has been investing in Fude brushes. Wow…those brushes are pricy but really worth it. ❤
I still can't get over Dior discontinued the Air Flash - I was hoping they would find an ecofriendly way over the aerosol can. I will forever mourn for it until they bring it back and it's as good as the original.
Omg HOURGLASS blushes are GORGEOUS!!! The new highlighter in owl omg!!! I never knew what people were so crazy about until I tried it lol!!! Rose Flush is beyond beautiful must have!!!!! Mood flush incredible!!!!! 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍 worth every penny!!!!!
Hourglass finishing powders are great! I own one. But what about guerlain meteorites? The one with all the multicolored pearls? Iv heard it is very close to hourglass powders? Gives a very similar finish. What is your opinion on those?
Love this new set up, I don't know if you change your camera, but this looks so much more professional, clean and classy, you're doing amazing sweetie!
The Dior setting spray is 🔥 It's hydrating and will lock makeup in place with a little glow. I love it. Honestly, the CT locks in makeup the best, but it doesn't give the hydration I need. So, Dior ftw!
Hi Morgan! I also used to love the Dior Air flash foundation but I have discovered a similar one. Check out the Kyda spray foundation. It's waterproof, good coverage and gives a beautiful airbrush look similar to the Dio Airflash. Shade range is minimal unfortunately but the foundation is great!xx
Agree about the Hourglass powders the BEST ever. And that CT setting spray definitely had fairydust in it. I have dry skin btw, and my face looks so good after spraying this on, over my makeup. I really like my Mothership palette #8, but I wish ND would bring back her Gold palette. It is my most used, and very best eyeshadow palette ever, and I have quite a few. I hit pan 🙄on most of the shades Sigh. Oh well. Love, love the Tower 28 mascara. Been through 4 of them already. And, I have tried many.
I must admit…your makeup DOES look super chic and perfect today!❤ I’m so sad I never got the chance to try the Dior Airflash foundation! I really hope some brand can dupe it one day so I can try it!
Morgan, Babs Beauty loooooved the Huda Beauty powder too, for years and years, but she tried the Lunar Beauty powder and she forgot the Huda one. Try this new magic powder from Luna and tell us your opinion ❤😊
Hourglass powders are insane. All of the powder products (finishing powder, bronzer, blush, highlighter) I constantly use are by Hourglass and it's the only powder products that appear seamless and lightweight, not overly powdery. Also LOVE palettes by PMG, her textures are worth it not because they are the prettiest, but because they are pretty + extremely easy to use, layer different textures on top of each other and always get a new interesting everyday look out of the same palette. Those textures allow to be creative without the mess of indie shadows while giving a similar effect.
You’re right about Pat McGrath palettes. Absolutely AMAZING and unbeatable. Only pet peeve is most definitely the glitter fall out. Glitter fallout looks so ugly on my somewhat textured skin. ISO a good glitter glue so that the glitter can actually stay on my lid lol. Still worth the price point to me though. 🤷🏻♂️
This look is so pretty! I have a love/hate relationship with Hourglass. I LOVE their highlighters and blushes. I HATE that as a darker skinned woman, I had to wait for Hourglass to include Ambient Lighting palettes for darker skin. Their formula can't be beat, though. I REALLY need to get my hands on that Tarte liner!
Lovely background!!! I loved the funny edit, include more of that, you are adorable and the vlog was amazing. Wishing you lots of love and happiness in your new home! ❤️
Hey Morgan. The Dior air flash foundation maybe gone , but I did see on Sephoras offers section that Miss Charlotte Tilbury was giving out samples of the same type of thing. So ill take a wild guess and say that we will seeing that drop this summer!! I wasnt making an order that week so I didnt get to try it! But look out for it ! And im assuming you ll pick it up or get it sent to you in PR!
For me, the Colourpop eye liners cannot be duped. I can put 2 colors on at 8am and it's still as vibrant at 10pm! Also, some eye liners irritate my eyes but the Colourpop ones don't. I don't even feel them on my eyes, which is HUGE for me cuz my eyes are sensitive AF!
Have you ever tried Dr Barbara Sturm glow drops? I feel like they are pretty dang close to chantacaille. Yes they are more expensive, but as far as dupes go I think we may have one on our hands 🙌 (I also have the sheer glow rose tint to compare) ❤❤❤❤
I agree with you regarding the Clarins lip oil, it’s the first time that I am finishing a lip product until the last drop and that I am going to order it again. I just love mine!
❤ I feel like the Tom Ford Foundation stick is one of the best foundation stick ever. I’m heart broken that they discontinued it. They haven’t oficial say it but I can’t find my shade anymore. 😢 Also the Givenchy Prisme setting powder is the best powder out there. Also the Hourglass blushes are the best. They’re a lot of great products out there but non like Hourglass
Hey morgan i ❤ur videos and how honest you are!! So i was wondering , i've been looking for a non glittery eyeshadow/highlighter from the duggstore and i just cant find what im looking for, which ones would you recomend?? (First btw)
We love a queen who has no problem disclosing her sponsorships clearly and concisely! Truly dont get why it’s so hard for certain influencers 😂 like hiding it just makes me want nothing to do with them. Thank you so much Morgan, I appreciate you always being a real one! I don’t shop Sephora/mainstream brands as often anymore (too obsessed with indie brands atm) but when I have things I’m considering or just wanna know what’s out there, you’re the one I always go to because I know we’ll be hearing your legitimate thoughts and opinions, not some sugarcoated bs! Anyways, this was a great video concept! I’m always down for a good dupe but it does bother me sometimes how much it’s happening lately. I have products I like better than the original (elf putty primer I love, the Tatcha silk canvas pilled like CRAZY on me even with zero skincare underneath!) but sometimes no matter how hard they try, the dupes just aren’t going to beat the real thing! I loveee this concept and hope you do this again at some point! I love seeing the high end products that actually live up to the price tag. I just started esthetician/MUA school and am about to be diving in on makeup research and fully plan on using your videos as one of my resources. I have a decent beginner kit but will need to expand it sometime soon! Hourglass palettes are on my list for that. I love my nude bronze light bronzer and sublime flush blush! I want all the blushes now though 😂 But yeah, just wanted to say that this makeup artist in training loves your videos and has so much respect for you and how you run your business. Thank you for being one of the few left with some goddamn integrity! Have a great rest of your week, Morgan ❤❤❤
Try Kiko Milano baked bronzers, blushes and powders. From my own personal experience, it is a "dupe" formula with the Hourglass ones. Exact same that I feel like they are made from the same Italian factory!
The half caked mascara is so similar to the tower 28. Maybe even better. It’s the one in the black packaging. The catrice true skin concealer is also just as good as the tower 28 to me. They’re both so good!
Dior really lives up to their claims, a couple years ago my daughter showed me some products she loves by the brand. My skin has never felt better, so now the new products they launched are even better if that's possible. The Capture Le Serum, the Hyalushot, Forever Skin Glow foundation and beyond, all so good! And Hourglass, an all-time favorite for me, so worth the money.
Have you tried the lunerversal setti g powder from luner Beauty?!?! The huda is my favorite, but the lunerversal is even better it is so blurring and thin. My skin has never looked better when I use it, and I have tried them all. lol, there truly is no other powder like it. I love this video. Great idea!
