Another factor that seems to be missed. Brel, you could do 1-2, 1-3 or 1-4 and get full ancient. Just took longer. With Thaemine, it's almost like they doubled down on the design of stupid. Not only is NM incredibly difficult for the average player according literal stats provided (taint lords can't argue stats), they also locked progression behind HM G3. So they doubled down on stupid. That should tell you everything you need to know about the devs.

This game is pretty much done right now, you can clearly see the reduction in players / lobbies. I guess people are finally feed up with a shit game.

Glad someone else said it finally. Thaemine is Brel 2.0. Its fun with a good party but cancer with bad or low dps party. Replace mech heavy with pattern heavy. Too much going on and to long.

the thing I liked about having a set of 6 chars that were high enough to do the new raids is simply just getting to play more of the new raid..... the amount of homework that takes though is insane... and shows one of the biggest problems with lost ark has always been there isn't much to do on 1 character if you want to play more you have to make another character

I quit a few weeks before voldis. 1617 main (had mats to tap), 2x 1610, 4x 1600, 3x 1540+, etc. Maxed card sets, all 10s on main, a set of 9s for a 2nd alt class, with some 10 cds for support (I played 3x one class, 2x bard, 1x other class in main 6. gunlancer with rattier gems as 7th) I spent four hund on the game total & left with 20x that. Akkan was good but I sold normal 4c4s on 7 1580 characters at the time lol. It was really easy/undertuned. I hadn't bussed since argos & honestly prefer a static that knocks out raids incl. gold raids quickly. Kayangel was terrible and is part of why I quit. The design is so bad. Massively outscaled raids (brel/clown) aren't good at 1600+ either. I didn't see myself wanting to spend 12-20hrs/wk doing the rested daily loop or the filler raids through xmas, summer 2024, etc and due to KR releases and a bit of math I knew exactly where my characters would be progression-wise. The shift did happen at brel. It's when it went from "having alts means you can progress main to the limit asap and your entire roster easily" to "having alts is required just to make it". With good planning you could still push most of a roster to normal modes after that, but that's not really as fun.

19:46 Asura1611: "yep i wont even be maxed transcend since im doing 1-3 h and did nm g3 first 3 weeks" ..... well mister Asura failed math during school I guess.... because even if he did g3 NM for 3 weeks... by the 19th June ( where we gonna get 2nd part of chaos, and they also showed echidna during 2nd part chaos event ) he will have 659 dark fire, and you need 625 to be maxed transcend.... so even with 3 weeks clearing g3 NM, people can be ready for echidna fully.... people who cleared 1-3HM only and g3 NM 0-1 weeks -> max trans on 12th June ( 643 with 0 weeks NM, 631 with 1 week going g3 NM ) people who cleared 1-3HM only and g3 NM 2-5 weeks -> max trans on 19th June ( most likely week where we get echidna, so just run thae before echidna ) people who cleared g3 NM 6 weeks or more -> max trans after echidna release clearing g1-2 HM g3 NM for 6 weeks and than g3 HM since 29th may for next 4 weeks... by the 19th June you will have 623/625 ( so you can clear 5 weeks g3 NM before echidna and you will be fine ) for hardcore people who cleared g1-4... they are ALREADY max trans since 29th may ( the ones who cleared g4 all 4 times )
