For what it's worth, I think you guys will go far in your relationship. I just recently celebrated my 24th wedding anniversary, and I can see you ( as a couple) and my marriage share a lot of the same values. Communication is huge for my husband and myself. Huge! Children were never meant to be for us, but I firmly believe that us not having children allowed us to to be able to focus on our relationship. Also, our "kids" are boxer dogs, instead of pit bulls! Plus, we can put our dogs in a kennel. People understand that without any issues. I have heard it's frowned upon to do the same with human children...! Its not necessarily a question, but more so a tip. I've been married going on 7 years this October 3rd. And I learned: A) Marriage is hard work, but the hard work is greatly rewarded with fun and fun memories. B) The relationship dynamics change (every relationship changes in different ways when it turns to marriage) and its good to notice it and see if its working or if it needs to be altered to better suit the couple. C) The hardest times is when you see the purest part of your husband/wife's soul and character. Through adversity, we see the best in our beloved spouse. D) Marriages always go through hardship. Its how you handle it that makes or breaks it.
From a fellow "No VR" person (epilepsy. Short bursts are okay.) My reason is because I discovered, through VR, I am terrified of the empty void of space. Just a goofy "jump to earth" game and I looked past the earth into the void and nearly threw the VR at the TV. The panic sent me into a catatonic seizure and I discovered I could never go into space. As a science fiction author my heart was broken. But as a human being? I'll shoot myself before staring into that void again.

My husband and I actually met through Tinder too! We talked for a couple weeks before our first date, and we knew by the end of said date that we were the one for each other. Engaged 4.5 months later, planned a wedding for a year and a half later but couldn't afford to live together on our pays, so we eloped that way he would get BAH (go Navy lol) and we could live together.
