RAINBOW CUPCAKES RECIPE

4 tsp. (20 g) baking powder
1/2 tsp. (3 g) salt
1 cup (227 g) unsalted butter at room temperature
2-1/2 (500 g) cups granulated sugar
5 eggwhites (150 g)
2 tsp. vanilla
1- 1/2 cups (375 ml) milk
Gel colours (I used red, orange, yellow,green, blue and purple)
Food flavourings to correspond each color (optional)
RAINBOW FROSTING
1 lb. (454 g) unsalted butter, room temperature
6 cups (750 g) powdered sugar, sifted
4 tbsp. heavy cream or milk
2 tsp. (8 g) vanilla extract or flavorings of choice
pinch of salt
