I agree, people need to also realize that these big teams aren’t just going to keep on throwing money at these players for something they’ve already seen, hence Rin only going up 12 mil instead of the “expected” 30 mil. The ranking were never “consistent” cuz if they were then Kaiser himself would have way more than what he has now

Even if we follow this explanation Barou and Bachira still got robbed. Their bids are increasing so they aren't in Kaiser case. The value of their performance in each game should stay consistent if they have nothing new to show, then Barou and Bachira having the value of their goal decreasing makes no sense. Barou received 100 millions for his hattrick in his first match, that means that the average goal of Barou shoei is worth 33 millions, that value shouldn't be higher or lower, it should be consistent but since the BM game they decreased the value of his goals like crazy, he basically had 15 millions of each goals against BM , one of those goals was a double nutmeg goal, something completely, new but he only got 15 millions for it. And against manshine he scored 2 goals and got 10 millions for each that doesn't make any sense. Bachira is another example, he score d one goal in each game he was in, and aiways received around 30 millions for these goal but now suddently he gets 13 millions for this one that doesn't make any sense.

⁠@@masgrande95Firstly, I want to mention that I almost fully agree with OP’s take. As for everyone saying that goals are what matter most, thus Barou should be getting way higher evaluations, context matters. Barou is being spoon fed for one, playing half the time Rin is playing, and not fighting a civil war with a NG11 striker, so of course even if his goal numbers are better, his individual ability is not. Plus, goals and generally striker orinted things are just valued at a premium, they’re not all that counts. Hence why Aiku, a defender can get 60 mil. The reason strikers are valued as a premium is because that’s what the clubs came to Blue Lock looking for, as they were a striker program. However, we have players like what Isagi was doing for Manshine and Ubers which is dominating in every aspect of the game. While as a striker, he doesn’t outperform Barou in terms of goals (let’s forget the context of said goals that I mentioned earlier to make this point even more clear), he outperforms him in defence, playmaking and almost every aspect of the game, so of course his value is going to be high. I also want to mention that currently, the clubs can only judge the players based on U20 and the NEL, and maybe the Blue Lock footage if that has been given to them. That’s not a lot to place a solid bid on. Like Nagi’s five-shot, they want to see what the player can do on a consistent basis, not just once in ten matches. So, in the beginning, they were putting conservative bids, like we saw in the first match. Then, in the second and third matches, they’re starting to majorly up the ante as players are not only evolving, but showing that they can do what they can do consistently (not looking at you Nagi), so they’re putting money more in line with what they actually think the player is worth, only to finalise that with the final bid, as they have a proper idea of what the player can do. And that’s why Rin got a much lower increase than before, that’s why Barou got a lower increase than before, that’s why Bachira got a lower increase. As for the reason Kaiser’s value doesn’t increase much, it’s just because clubs know him very well as a player so his worth to them is a known factor, that excluding evolutions, won’t change all that much). There are two final things I want to note. First up, according to what I said right now, it’s not that Nagi’s five shot was only worth 88 million, it’s that the (relatively) conservative estimate for if he could do that consistently was 88, but if he continued landing them, then that value would have far surpassed 88 (and in my opinion would have reached something like 250, but that’s just a guess). Finally, before anyone grabs the “the system is rigged for Isagi pitchfork”, yes, Isagi’s the exception to this rule. BUT. It’s not because the story wants to have Isagi as number 1 (well, of course it’s that too, my point is that Isagi’s bid is not unfair compared to the other players), but because our of everyone in the NEL, Isagi’s evolving at a much higher rate than anyone else. In every match, Isagi comes out of it a completely different player. You can’t say that about anyone else. Barou comes out vastly different from the Barcha match, Rin from the Manshine match, but they didn’t improve as much as Isagi does on a constant basis. Thus, as his skill as a level and his value as a player is ever changing, faster than everyone else’s, his value isn’t stabilising and plateauing. Personally, I love the bids because of how much they actually tell you about the player and the system itself, looking at the biases of it and everything. And that’s why I hate how it feels like a large part of the fan base oversimplifies or disregards them.

@@anastasishatzakis5752finally someone with sense 🤦‍♂️ these barou fans don’t understand how the bidding works, and literally took what kurona was speculating as if it was stated narratively.. barou has not been that consistent in term of growth, he scored a hattrick in his first match while winning which set the standard for his bid, then proceed to get less goals in a match against muchen and also loss.. People also don’t understand if the person outclass you in the game they can pass you even if you have higher overall numbers..

​@@mycrooo6841you don't understand how the bidding works either bro. Because the explanation is inconsistent when you look at other players like Bachira, Kunigami and Chigiri. If the explanation was true then Kunigami would've ranked higher than Bachira since the first game, but it wasn't the case, Bachira lost every game he was in but still received 30 something millions in his 2 first game while Kunigami got 20 something for each goals in 2 his two first game.

Still if the author put that every goal is between 30-50 mil that should have been the standard

@KiiNGKhyy I don't think so. We shouldn't take a character's estimation (especially one who's nowhere near the rule makers) as law. That estimation sounded wrong the moment Kurona said it. Bachira should be at least 90 million if that rule held😅. Personally, I've chucked the valuations to bidding politics and entertainment value

Yeah but the problem isn't that Barou hasn't a big increase the problem is that problem is that the value of his performance decreased. Even if the bids spike due to his consistency that would mean ik Barou's case that the value of his performance shouldn't go higher or lower. Barou received 100 millions for scoring 3 goals, that means the average goal of Barou shoei is worth 33 millions, unless he does something else like a supergoal( double nutmeg goal) or something, the value shouldn't be higher or lower but since the BM game they decreased the value of his goals like crazy, he basically had 15 millions of each goals against BM and against manshine he scored got 10 millions for each that doesn't make any sense.

They never said that he has scored. Against Bastards only Bachira and Lavi scored, and against Ubers Bachira scored the 2 goals. In 245 they only say that Barcha scored 2 goals against PxG, but probably Lavi and Bachira made those goals.
