These Scalloped potatoes are SO Easy and Delicious! Prefect for Christmas Dinner! - Hope you're having an Amazing Sunday! In this video, I'm going to show you how to make these delicious cheesy scalloped potatoes. They're perfect for Christmas dinner, or any other special occasion!
I'm using a simple and easy recipe that is perfect for beginner cooks, and they will come out looking and tasting amazing. So don't miss out on this recipe - it's sure to be a hit at your next dinner party!
Ingredients:
4 ½ cup extremely thin sliced Potatoes
½ tsp. Black Pepper
½ tsp. Paprika
½ tsp. Onion Powder
½ tsp. Garlic Powder
3 tbsp. Butter
3 tbsp. All-Purpose Flour
1 ½ cup Half and Half
1 cup Monterey Jack Cheese divided
1 cup Colby Cheddar cheese divided

I think those are the most beautiful potatoes I have ever seen. One thing I do is use a large towel on the table to dry potatoes, quick and easy and really gets the moisture out.

I made this dish at Christmas, our first after losing my wife to Covid in January. I didn't have a cool baking dish like yours but used an enamel roaster so it was a BIG batch. It took a while to bake so had to maintain temp on the standing rib roast but it was a delicious hit! AB, you are the best. Not sure what you used to do but you have found your calling.

Cousin, once again I'm impressed You make it look so easy and all so delicious, thank you for that. I'm a seasoned cook from the "old school" low and slow, all day 🤭 Now I've seen the light. You're making it so that the next generation, wont have to spend hours on one dish. They'll get the old time flavor without cooking it to death. And they'll be saving energy too. You've given us one or two and sometimes three reasons on how to relax and still get that "old time soul food" look and taste to our food.. As my late Uncle would say "That Youngblood there got skills" You certainly do. And I'm totally impressed by them. Happy Holidays to you and yours. That "collard greens" Louisiana style has became a staple in our family. I can't see going back to the old way of cooking them We do them the "AB" way now😊. Loved the different presentation🥰, however just using cream & cheese without flour makes a better consistency sauce. Flour roux will make the sauce drier & drier as it cooks and the sauce doesn't look creamy & gooey as is usually with scalloped potatoes.

Best looking cheesy scalloped potatoes ever! I always par-cook my potato slices for about 5 mins (after it comes to a boil) but I can see where you need them to have a little more strength to stand on their edges. I'm going to Level Up my cooking with AB. Awesome content brother,this dish will go much better with the ham I'm serving for Christmas dinner than the sour cream mashed taters I normally make.
