These Screw-Ups Got People Fired

These accidental job screw-ups got people fired. In 2017, anchor Natasha Exelby got caught spacing out and staring at her pen while live on-air. In 2019, a Brinks guard was fired after getting robbed at gunpoint by three suspects. In Sacramento, California, John Szczecina got fired after accidentally setting the price of gas to $.69 instead of $6.99. Inside Edition Digital’s Andrea Swindall has more.

Even with that mistake (that's probably on her, because his/her companion is still probably inside the store) she had mistakes on HER own. That same School Bus Incident Happened to my Son when He was around 6 years young (now 24). We have 7 acres on a hugs hilled main road in the country next to a Big Creek and they dropped My Son off with no one home. We would wait in the Driveway in our vehicle because our driveway is 1/6 th of a mile. No one was waiting and they let Him off. No one home, closest neighbor he walked to not home. I got home after driving right to the bus garage and my Son wasn't there (bus had just pulled in & our written agreement of plan). So I tore home and found my Son sitting by the house door crying. No one was even written up. We have Fox, Wolf, occasionally Bears plus the water, I was fuming!!!

The only ones where termination was a bit controversial was the news anchor one and the bus driver one. Everything else is reasonable enough for firing. For the armored truck one it was handled poorly. She was fired because of the violations she did which lost the company money. According to someone else she opened the truck in a spot that violates or something?? She also handled the situation poorly as she was the only one visible and who was opening the truck to do whatever and is 100% vulnerable to anything that could've happened, which in this case was 3 robbers sitting 2-3 cars away with weapons.

Getting robbed wasn't why she was fired, she wasn't doing her job. 1: The rest of the money in the truck was suppose to be locked in the safe, it was not (should have only been able to steal what she carried out, but she didn't follow basic job protocol. 2: Don't load the cash alone, this is incredibly dangerous and puts all their employees in danger. They wouldn't care that she got on her knees, 1: she's a female and not intimidating one at that (so they clearly don't expect you to fight back), and 2: that's potential lawsuits or just a few cars with new holes in them might cost more than what was stolen (unless she's a really good aim, but I doubt this, security guards just like police have bare minimal training).
