Hi beautiful Lauren. The funniest thing is when you whisper when we should try the cheaper dupe so the more expensive product doesn't hear you. Adore watching you.

I’m not very adventurous when it comes to skin care. I tried baking soda as an exfoliating scrub and it worked amazing! Don’t do that very often but it really cleared out my pores.
Hi Lauren some interesting alternatives this time around. I really like the purito dermide cica sleeping pack, but for me it's a day cream and nowhere near enough moisture for night time use. I have severely dry, rosacea and eczema prone skin that needs a really rich cream at night. If your husband has eczema patches get him some LRP lipikar AP+M (I use the baby version). It's my favourite night moisturiser and leaves my skin soft in the morning. It's also really economical and he can slather it on without worrying about using too much of a pricy moisturiser. I don't buy expensive moisturisers tbh, as I use so much of them and go through it very quickly. instead I invest my cash in prescription actives, serums and spf. I don't buy expensive cleansers either - they don't stay on the skin long and are rinsed off down the drain. I'm currently using the LRP toleraine hydrating cleanser, the Aveeno replenishing oat cleanser and my favourite the Avene antirougours refreshing cleanser. Two good silky peptide serums are the Purito unscented centella serum and the Klairs fundamental watery oil drop. I also like the Sub Q skin from Hylamide or the buffet with copper peptides from the ordinary - all of them have a good mix of peptides without breaking the bank. I don't mind spending money on something amazing, but packaging and over hyped brands don't do it for me. I'm far more interested in the INCI list and what it actually offers, than packaging, marketing or scent. I use fragrance free products anyway, so scent is actually something that is not a selling point for me. Not everyone will feel the same way about fragrance as I do (super sensitive skin), so I understand scent can make the experience feel more luxurious and be a selling point for others. Best wishes.
have you tried the new version? The old version had olive oil and coconut oil which they replaced with squalane, sunflower, and jojoba oil. It’s sooo nourishing 💗 And thanks for the suggestion for my hubs! He’s tried everything under the sun and nothing has stuck. I’ll be looking this up!
@@thehonestbeautyreview Ok no I think it was the older version I tried, so maybe I should give it another look. It's still about £20 for 60mls, wheras Lipikar is £20 for 400mls - this is their base price in the UK, although both are often on offer.
Thank you for the dupe suggestions,Lauren. I haven’t tried Bliss or Versed products yet but I’m excited to see how they perform on my skin. I love these types of videos; always trying to get good values!😊
I love the new Calm and Restore Aveeno clean cleanser. In fact, I kind of fell in love with the whole line. My mom has been an Aveeno fan for so long and I never liked it, but I love this cleanser.
I love the Purito Dermide sleeping mask, which I think is much better than the Laneige ones. I also like the centella green level cream and the Soon Jung cica balm much more than the much more expensive Dr Jart cica cream.
I love a good dupe video! I recently discovered the Peach Slices BHA toner which is suppose to be a dupe for Paula’s choice but I honestly like it better because aside from 2% salicylic acid it also contains glycolic and lactic! And the price can’t be beat! I’m in love
@@thehonestbeautyreview I got it on Amazon and it’s 4oz for like $10 which in my opinion is a steal. I’m really liking it so far. You should give it a try and maybe one day tell us what you think ;)
Lauren thank you so much for this fantastic video! I especially love the ingredient deep dive! You have introduced me to so many fabulous effective skincare products and my face thanks you☺️🙏. Side note- loving the lip combo today - so pretty! Was wondering if you might do a “Sephora skincare recommendations” - some wise choices for the upcoming sale? Have a fun week💕 Xo Tammy 🇨🇦
Hi Lauren. Great alternatives to the expensive counterparts. Going to check these out. You are too funny girl. Love your videos. Hope your son is doing fabulous. You look amazing as always. Be well!!
I tried versed products after your recomendations and I am super super impressed such a good brand have repurchased Thier rich soak moisture cream and cleanser will definately be trying this eye gel.
I have been using the Drmtlgy Needleless Serum for about six weeks and love it. I don't think I have never seen such instant results, so I already reordered it but I might try the Bliss Glow and Hydrate. I actually really like some of the Bliss products and so nice to just pick it up at Target. I love Target also.
Myskin looked brighter, smoother, and just younger. I have not noticed any lessening of wrinkles but only have been using it only about six weeks. I love the feel and it does seem hydrating. I use it only at night. I am seventy with wrinkles but not severely wrinkled. I think you will like it.
I was a sucker and ended up buying a Tatcha moisturizer, the Indigo overnight repair. It’s fragrance free. Immediately after applying it my skin stung and the next morning I woke up and my entire neck was swollen. It looked like there had been a wire around my neck. Soooooo needless to say, I’m not a fan of Tatcha.
I think it is really difficult to compare products that don't have the majority of the same ingredients. I'm off on Purito as a brand considering on how dishonest they have been with their sunscreen, it clouds the integrity of their other products. I believe the Ole Hendrickson product had Bakuchiol in its product and the other one didn't, this is major.
Question, how do go from finding great products that work for you to ending up at the drugstore? Just curious … Tried to ask that in the least offensive way. 💕
